자동차급발진을 감지하기 위한 모듈 시스템 구현 (Implement module system for detection sudden unintended acceleration)

  • 오늘날 자동차 시장에는 다양한 IT기술이 포함된 모델들이 출시되고 있다. 대표적으로 테슬라 사의 테슬라 모델S, 구글의 무인자동차 등이 속속 등장 하고 있다. 이렇게 IT 기술이 포함된 자동차는 운전자에게 다양한 편의성을 제공하고 제공되는 편의만큼 운전자들은 다양한 혜택을 누리고 있다. 하지만 이와 반대로 전자부품의 결함이나 오류로 인해 운전자들의 안전을 위협하는 사고의 발생이 일어나고 있는 것 또한 사실이다. 이러한 사고들 가운데 자동차 급발진 사고가 존재한다. 아직까지 자동차 급발진 사고의 원인은 뚜렷하지 않으나 자기장에 의한 ECU장치가 오류를 일으켜 자동차 급발진 사고가 발생한다는 주장이 가장 신뢰 받고 있다. 하지만 한국의 경우 자동차 급발진 사고가 일어날시 자동차 제조사 측에서는 단순히 운전자의 페달 조작 미스로 인해 사고가 일어났다고 주장하는 경우가 많으며, 운전자 측에서는 그에 대해 반박할 근거가 부족해 대부분의 운전자들이 책임을 지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자동차 급발진 사고가 운전자의 페달 조작 실수인지 자동차의 장치 결함인지를 판별할 수 있도록 운전자의 페달 조작 영상을 획득하고 엑셀, 브레이크 등 제어부에 센서를 부착하여 정밀한 데이터를 획득, 저장하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현 하였다.

외상에 의한 상행 대동맥 박리증의 치험 1례 (Ascending Aortic Dissection due to Trauma - A Case report -)

  • Aortic dissection is a challenging disease and the causes of that are well-known. Blunt chest trauma is one of the causes of aortic dissection. In such cases, nearly all cases involves the isthmic portion of descending aorta, but ascending aorta is involved in about 10. We experienced a patient who had ascending aortic dissection due to automobile accident and who showed spontaneous rupture of the aorta during operation. In this case, after installation of aortic line via left femoral artery, ascending aorta ruptured and a large amount of blood gushed out, which was suckered by cardiotomy sucker. A little delay of cardiopulmonary bypass may cause the fatal outcome in such a case because the bleeding from aorta is too much to be controlled. Fortunately, we controlled the bleeding with cardiopulmonary bypass and got the good outcome of this patient by interpositioning the vascular graft. One should suspect the possibility of aortic dissection in blunt chest trauma, and prepare all the facilities against bleeding due to rupture.

  • 자동차 산업이 발달함에 따라 운전자와 탑승자의 편의를 제공하기 위한 연구인 텔레매틱스 사업이 발달하고 있다. 최근 텔레매틱스의 연구는 기존의 사용자에게 편의를 제공하는 것에서 사용자의 안전 및 운전 편의에 초점이 맞추어지고 있다. 본 논문은 RFID를 이용하여 도로와 자동차간의 통신을 통한 교통상황 제공 및 대처 시스템에 대해 기술 한다. 본 논문에서 제안되는 시스템을 통해 운전자는 전방의 도로 상황을 미리 인지하고 대응함으로써, 운전자의 안전 주행을 도와준다.

정면 오프셋 충돌시 가스튜브를 이용한 차량용 범퍼의 손상성, 수리성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Damageability and Repairability of the Car Bumper Systems with Gas Tube)

  • The car crash accidents in low speed occurs most frequently. Damage on a conventional bumper after the car accident causes the bumper to get fixed most of time. This study shows how a gas tube bumper reduces a damageability and increase repairability after the car accidents. The 15 km/h 40% offset front and rear crash test recommended by RCAR (Research council for automobile repairs) standard was performed and evaluated damages on the gas tube bumper by the pendulum impact tester. In this study, the gas tube bumper reduces damageability and increases repairability after car crash accidents. In addition, car frame design to apply the gas tube bumper may consider to be changed.

라운드 리클라이너 개발을 위한 정적 강도 해석 및 안전성 평가 (Static Strength Analysis and Safety Evaluation for Developing a Round Recliner)

  • Seat is one of the most important part of an automobile for passenger's safety especially when an accident happens. A recliner is a part of the seat assembly, having the function of adjusting the back-plate angle of a seat. Recently, many kinds of vehicles have adopted the round recliner module rather than the conventional types of recliners because of its broad compatibility and structural simplicity. In this study a two-dimensional finite element strength analysis has been performed using a commercial code ABAQUS/Standard for the purpose of developing a new round recliner model. The loading condition for the analysis is the same as the FMVSS 301 regulation. The finite element result for the round recliner has been compared with that for the conventional type.

  • In case of commercializing of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the suitable emergency response guide is necessary to prepare an accident. In order to suggest the suitable guide for the domestic affairs, the existing external guide about GM, Ford, Honda, and Hyundai was reviewed. The emergency response guides in CAFCP and main FC vehicle makers were included in the analysis. As the results, it was found that the design and make of vehicle for the domestic user are demanded in the emergency response and the guide is made with the shut-down manual picked out for the rescuer and repair man as well as user.

외상성 하행 흉부 대동맥류 -치험 1 례 보고- (Traumatic Aneurysm of Descending Thoracic Aorta -A Case Report-)

  • We experienced a case of traumatic aneurysm of descending thoracic aorta by an automobile accident. The patient was 23-year-old-male with a traumatic aortic aneurysm [6x12cm] on the descending thoracic aorta just distal to the origin of the left subclavian artery. Exposure was obtained through a left posterolateral thoracotomy incision in the fourth intercostal space and then partial femoro-femoral cardiopulmonary bypass was established.After aortic cross- clamping, the aneurysmal sac was opened and repaired with interposition of Dacron vascular graft and aortic cross-clamping period lasted for 100 minutes. Postoperative bleeding and vocal cord paralysis were complicated, but bleeding was controlled by reoperation and vocal cord paralysis was improved. Follow up was continued for 14months and postoperative course was uneventful.

동요흉 환자의 임상적 고찰 (The Clinical Analysis of Flail Chest)

  • From 1980 through 1993, sixty one patients having traumatic flail chest were analysised retrospectively at the Department of Thoracic and Cardivascular Surgery, Chonbuk National University Hospital. There were 47 men and 14 women, mean age, 49.3 years, age range 4 to 82 years. The most common mode of trauma was automobile accident, common combined other organ injuries were skeletal injury [ 36 patients and neurologic injury [ 20 patients . In the mode of treatment, ventilator therapy was done in 34 cases and operative stabilization was done in 18 cases [ Kirschner or steel wire: 9 cases, Judet`s strut: 9 cases . Sixteen patients died [26 % . The main factors associated with fatal outcome were shock [ p < 0.002 , head injury [ p < 0.005 , and more than 50 years of age [ p < 0.05 . In fatal cases, 14 patients died during in ventilator therapy [ 14/34, 41 % and 2 patients died following operative stabilization of chest wall [ 2/18, 11 % .The overall cause of death was septicemia, ARDS, ARF, hypovolemic shock and hypoxic brain damage.

편타 손상에 관한 고찰 (A Study for Whiplash Injury)

  • A whiplash injury of cervical spine is typically caused by a special kind of accident. It usually involves a driver of an automobile who experiences a direct impact from behind. There are no external signs of the injury, but shearing forces from the rapid flexion and extension momement result in segmental lesions. The extent of injury to the tissue depends upon the force of impact, the exact position of head at the moment of impact, the awareness of impending injury in order to "prepare" the musculature, and the normalcy of all the tissues of the neck. Diagnosis demend a carefully detailed history and a through musculo-skeletal--neurological examination. Whenever possible, the symptoms claimed must be verified by a carefule neurological examination.

좌측 하지의 관절구축을 동반한 작열통의 치험 (A Case of Causalgia with Contracture Deformity in Lower Extremity)

  • Causalgia is a symptom complex usually consisting of burning pain, hyperesthesia and atrophy of the involved extremity. The pain may be aggravated by contact, motion of extremity or emotional excitement. It occurs following incomplete nerve injury. The patient was a 58-year-old male with a 3-year history of causalgic pain of left lower extremity. He had multiple fractures with degloving injury of left lower extremity in an automobile accident. The pain was exacerbated by movement, and he experienced knee joint and ankle joint contracture. The patient's pain decreased after continuous epidural block with 1% lidocaine and 0.25% bupivacaine. He also received lumbar sympathetic ganglion alcohol block resulting in much improvement of level of pain and walking disturbance.
