자동 광섬유 정렬 장치의 설계 및 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Development of Automatic Optical Fiber Aligner)

  • Optical fiber is indispensable for optical communication systems that transmit large volumes of data at high speed, but super precision technology in sub-micron units is required for optical axis adjustment. We developed the automatic optical fiber by image processing and automatic loading system. we have developed 6-axis micro stage system for I/O optical fiber arrays, the initial automatic aligning system software for a input optical array by the image processing technique, fast I/O-synchronous aligning strategy, the automatic loading/unloading system and the automatic UV bonding mechanism. In order to adjust the alignment it used on PC based motion controller, a $10{\mu}m$ repeat-detailed drawing of automatic loading system is developed by a primary line up for high detailed drawing. Also, at this researches used the image processing system and algorithm instead of the existing a primary hand-line up and fiber input array and waveguide chip formed in line by automatic.

주유시간 조절이 가능한 기어 메커니즘 구동방식의 자동그리스주유기 개발 (The Development of Automatic Grease Lubricator Driven by Gear Mechanism with Controlled Operating Time)

  • Automatic grease lubricator is equipment that provides adequate amount of fresh grease constantly to the shaft and the bearings of machines. It minimizes the friction heat and reduces the friction loss of machines to the least. This research is to develop automatic grease lubricator by gear driven mechanism with controlled operation time. The ultimate design of this equipment is to lubricate an adequate amount of grease by a simple switch clicking according to the advanced set cycle. The backlash of the gear was minimized to increase the output power. To increase the power of gear mechanism, the binding frequency and the thickness of the coil were changed. To control the rotating cycles of the main shaft according to its set numbers, different resistance and chips were used to design the circuit to controls electrical signals with pulse. The body of the lubricator was analyzed by stress analysis with different constructed angle. The stress analysis for differing loading pressures applied to the exterior body of grease lubricator due to the setup angle, was found that the maximum stress was distributed over the outlet part where the grease lubricator suddenly narrowed contracts. Digital mock-up was analyzed and the rapid prototyping(RP) trial products were tested with PCB circuit and grease. The evaluation of the outlet capacity for RP trial products was conducted, because the friction caused by the outlet on the wall surface was an important factor in the operation of the equipment. Finally, the finishing process was applied to decrease the roughness of the surface to a comparable level and was able to test the performance examination for the product.

원격 검침 시스템에서 근사 최소 스타이너 트리를 이용한 집중기 및 중계기의 효율적인 배치와 연결 (Efficient Allocation and Connection of Concentrators and Repeaters Using Approximate Steiner Minimum Tree in Automatic Meter Reading System)

  • 원격 검침 시스템의 수용가에서는 검침기, 집중기, 중계기 등의 효율적인 구성이 필요하다. 최소 스타이너 트리는 스타이너 포인트를 도입하여 최소 비용으로 모든 입력 노드들을 연결한다. 본 논문에서는 반복적으로 생성된 근사 최소 스타이너 트리를 활용하여, 원격 검침 시스템의 검침기, 집중기, 중계기를 효율적으로 배치하고 연결하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서 입력 노드와 스타이너 포인트는 원격 검침시스템의 검침기, 집중기, 중계기로, 선분은 이들 사이의 연결로 대응되며, 이들의 적절한 처리를 통해 유 무선 방식의 원격 검침 시스템을 위한 효율적인 네트워크를 구축할 수 있다. 본 연구의 실험에서, 1000개의 입력 노드와 200개의 한 노드 당 최대 연결인 환경에서, 제안된 방법에 의해 생성된 원격 검침 시스템 네트워크는 최소 신장 트리로 생성된 네트워크와 비교하여 약 19.1%의 네트워크 길이의 절감율을 보였다.

  • Automatic grease lubricator of gear type was developed by mechanical design, analysis and test with products manufactured by rapid prototyping machine. The mechanism of gear driving was designed in similar to the watch mechanism and lubrication could be controlled by PCB circuit. The body of the lubricator was analyzed by stress analysis with different constructed angle. Digital mockup was analyzed and RP products were combined with PCB circuit and grease. RP products and injection moulding products were tested and compared for roughness and roundness, Finally the grease was drained out for testing the time.

  • Cam mechanism is one of the common devices used in many automatic machinery. Specially cylindrical cam generates three dimensional motions. Thus, the shape design procedure must have high accuracy. This paper proposes the shape design procedure for a cylindrical cam and follower mechanism using a relative velocity method. The relative velocity method and coordinate transformation are used to find a contact point between cam and follower. Also, the full shape of the cylindrical cam can be generated by using the geometric relationships and the contact constraints. As a result, this paper presents an example for the sape design of the cylindrical cam in order to prove the accuracy of the design procedures.

경사지 트랙터의 자동 수평기구부 개발 및 응답 특성에 관한 연구 (Development of an Automatic Leveling Mechanism and Response Properties for the Slope Tractor)

  • When a slope tractor works on the slope land, it travels usually along the contour and slope line. In that case, the efficiency of work generally decreases and the safety of the operator caused by the overturn of the tractor should be considered. Maintaining the tractor body being horizontal during the travel is crucial to solve problems. To overcome such a problem, an automatic leveling control system for slope tractor has been developed. The system composed of sensor for measuring rolling and pitching inclination of the slope tractor chassis, controller, hydraulic control system and mechanism. The limit angle of the leveling control was set up to be ${\pm}15^{\circ}C$ for rolling, ${\pm}7^{\circ}C$ for pitching. The proposed control and hydraulic power system was implemented to the prototype slope tractor. This paper shows results about development of the automatic leveling mechanism and response properties for slope tractor.

  • In this paper, automatic sunvisor system is introduced for driver's safety and convenience. This system has the mechanism which keeps the sun off without obstruction of driver's sight. The mechanism can make the sunvisor move forward or rotate left while remaining inside inner roof. The control system consists of a CPU, a motor driver, light sensors, and the algorithm that can control the movement of sunvisor efficiently. When the light sensors take the sun light, they give the signal to the CPU and the CPU calculates the best position of the sunvisor with the information of driver's eyes height. Then, the CPU gives the signal to motors that can move the sunvisor.

  • Drilling file is medical mini-drill which is made of Ni-Ti material and has tapered shape. It's for removing teeth nervine which helps the endodontic treatment. All files, saled at domestic market, are imported from U.S. and Europe. Also they have low manufacturing efficiency and high price because it is made by universal 5 axis CNC grinding machine. To solve these problem, 3 axis CNC table, controllable tilting angle spindle and helix angle moving table are devised. To confirm divised CNC grinding machine's manufacturing accuracy, conveying amount and finish product size measurement expreiment has been practiced. Also to automate all manufacturing processes, automatic mechanism is designed.

  • Recently, demands on the tapping machine are increased due to the case of a cell phone is changed to metal such as aluminum. The automatic tool changer (ATC) is one of the most important devices for the tapping machine related to the speed and energy consumption of the machine. To reduce the consumed energy and vibration, the dynamic modeling is essential for the ATC. In this paper, inverse dynamic modeling of a novel ATC mechanism is introduced. The proposed ATC mechanism is composed of a double four-bar mechanism with a circular tablet to generate continuous rotation of the tablet. The dynamic modeling is performed based on the Lagrange equation with a modeling for the contact between the four-bar and the tablet. Simulation results for various working conditions are proposed and analyzed for the prototype design. The dynamic modeling can be applied to determine the proper actuator and to reduce the vibration and consumed energy for the ATC machine.
