FEM을 이용한 스퍼기어 응력 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stress Analysis of Spur Gear Using FEM)

  • This paper is the study on stress analysis of spur gear using a finite element method. Gear drives constitute very important mechanisms in transmitting mechanical power processes compromising several cost effective and engineering advantages. The load transmission occurred by the contacting surfaces arises variable elastic deformations which are being evaluated through finite element analysis. The automatic gear design program is developed to model gear shape precisely. This gear design system developed was used by pre-processor of FEM packages. The distribution of stresses at contacting surfaces was examined when a pair of gear contact.

Gear drives constitute very important mechanisms in transmitting mechanical power processes compromising several cost effective and engineering advantages. The load transmission occurred by the contacting surfaces arises variable elastic deformations which are being evaluated through finite element analysis. The automatic gear design program is developed to model gear shape precisely. This gear design system developed was used by pre-processor of FEM packages. The distribution of stresses at contacting surfaces was examined when gear tooth contacts. And this paper proposes method for the tooth modification after carrying out stress analysis using a finite element method.

Behavior analysis of aerial tunnel maintenance truss platform with high tensile steel UL-700

  • The goal of this study is to investigate structural analysis and behaviors of an innovative aerial work platform truss frame whose ductility is improved by using high strength-steel UL-700. The present space truss frame can move or stop through tunnels for maintenance constructions by automatic facilities and workmanship within standardized limited building lines of tunnel. Most of all, this method overcomes problematic, which is to block cars during construction periods, seriously, of typical methods like as using truck and scaffolds for tunnel maintenance. According to evaluated appropriate design results of space truss frames of numerical examples by using a commercial MIDAS GEN program, it is verified that design parameters such as layered size, cross-sectional size, and steel material of the present space truss frame are determined to depend on characteristics such as lanes or shape of road tunnels.

  • Computational investigation was conducted to study the effects of the shape parameter of shroud on the performance of the outdoor unit of an air-conditioners. For this study the Design of Experiment(4-factor 3-level) was created and the an automatic program was composed using VBA to reduce the load of pre-process for CFD. The estimated mathematical equation was produced from this analysis and it was found that the gap between fan and shroud affects more heavily than the other parameters. As a result, the composition of the best parameters was verified that its flow rate was increased by 10 percents and sound pressure level was reduced by 1.2 dBA compare with the worst. And finally, a kind of Propeller fan with blades which were attached to the shroud, so-called 'ProBeller Fan' was introduced in this study.

  • The CAD/CAM system for the manufacturing automation is the newest technology in mechanical engineering area and becomes the important research subject nowadays. Most of all hardwares and softwares for the CAD/CAM system used in the our manufacturing companies such as automobile company are developed by the foreign country and the purchasing price of them is very expensive but their applicability to a certain area is very limited. This study was conducted to develope a CAD/CAM system for the design and the automatic manufacturing of the iron pattern shaped with 3 - dimensional free curved surface, and to test its applicability to the design and the manufacturing of the rotary blade. The results obtained from the study are as follow; 1. The CAD system which can process graphic procedures from the free curved surface shaped data was developed with personal computer. 2. The CAM main program was developed. This main program could produce CL data from CAD data file by checking the tool interference according to the cutting mode. 3. The sub. program which can simulate the tool trace from the CL data was developed. 4. The post processor for the Deckel FP2NC NC milling machine from CL data file was developed and the sub program could transmit NC program through modem to NC milling machine was developed. 5. The developed CAM system seemed to be applicable to any other system. Because the measuring results of the cross sectional thickness of the plastic model from the manufacturing iron pattern by the system showed that this system could properly check the tool interference. 6. In took 75~90 hours to manufacture two iron patterns of rotary blade. For the sake of convenience in applying to the other systems, this system was developed in BASIC and FORTRAN computer language and minimum portion of machine language as possible.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 설계 시스템들이 갖지 못한 완전한 삼차원적 모델의 주 형을 생성할 수 있으므로 응축 시뮬레이션, NC공구 경로 생성등의 응용 프로그램과 직 접적으로 연결될 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문의 1편에서는 위의 설계과정중 목형과 압탕부의 설계에 대해서 기술하고 탕구계와 주형의 설계에 대해서는 2편에서 기술하도록 한다.

  • In the study, we described on the 3D solid model be made on the AutoCAD haved an effect on the deviation of form as RP manufactures the facetres. The STL file improved the deviation of form as the facetres value but the deviation of form have the difference a little as the RP system. In result, we ruled the correlation with the 3D solid model and the RP sample manufacturing, with manufacture RP sample according to facetres value in complex shape. And we developed the program which recombination the STL file that we make use of the AutoLISP.

국부적 자속 포화 현상을 이용한 리엑터 및 변압기의 공극 등가 모델에 관한 연구 (Study on Transformer and Inductor Using Equivalent Air gap to Partial Flux Saturation)

  • BY the Transformers and reactors, the input electrical energy is converted into magnetic energy. At the end through the magnetic energy was passed at the output parameter. Specially At the flyback transformer or a reactor airgap were designed to contain more magnetic energy. But that work is very difficult for the optimal design. It is that Contradictions are between the length of the Air-gap, Winding inductance, DC bias. As to e Several conflicting conditions in order to determine the optimum Air-gap has a lot of experience and trial & error is necessary. The approach proposed in this paper, the auxiliary winding on the core attached to part of primary core, that by applying a DC voltage has a dramatic effect like Core with designed Air-gap. This inventiveness and advantage is to regulate arbitrarily the Saturation Flux Quantity by the input signal to secondary winding. Accordingly obtained the biggest effect is that increasing limits of the saturation current destined by the material and shape of the conventional core. In other words, that can decreas the size of the transformer and reactor, While maintaining the current saturation capacity. This paper, prove its effect as using the local flux saturation in transformers and reactors for research by the computer program using the finite element method (FEM) simulation, followed by actual experiment to verify
