An automated surface-strain measuring system is developed in the present study, which consists of the hardware to capture and to display digital images and the software to calculate the 3-D informations of grid points. The software is implemented using the image processing technique, and includes a program for the camera calibration and the post-processor to display the strain distribution. An LDH(limitting dome height) test specimen is measured its surface-strain as an application of the present system.

This study is consists of two parts. First, we analyzed two construction algorithms; CORELAP( Computerized Relationship Layout Planning) and ALDEP (Automated Layout Design Program). And we made a New Relationship Layout Planning overcoming the defaults of CORELAP and ALDEP. Second, we described the only improvement algorithm CRAFT(Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique). And we modified the CRAFT, which is considering the economic evaluation.

It is very important to assure the software quality. The static and dynamic testing are to be performed on the program to find some error in it, and it's purposes are to assure the software quality with cost-effectiveness. For it we use the automated tool. In this paper, it suggest the design of the software tool for COBOL static testing.

This study was conducted to extract the feature set of English writing error for suggesting adequate English writing program and making automated scoring system. The frequent committed error and the error across the level of writing proficiency were reported. Also, It is reported that the correlation between type of error and native speaker's rating score.

In an automated industry PLC plays a central role to control the automation system. Therefore, fault free operation of PLC controlled automation system is essential in order to maximize a firm's productivity. A prior test of control system is a practical way to check fault operations, but it is a time consuming job and can not check all possible fault operation. A formal verification of PLC program could be a best way to check all possible fault situation. Tracing the history of the study on formal verification, we found three problems, the first is that a formal representation of PLC control system is incomplete, the second is a state explosion problem and the third is that the verification result is difficult to use for the correction of control program. In this paper, we propose a transformation method to reproduce the control system correctly in formal model and efficient procedure to verify and correct the control program using verification result. To demonstrate the proposed method, we provided a suitable case study of an automation system.

최근 비선형 시청행위 확산에 의해 고정형TV, 웹TV 등에서 VOD 서비스의 소비가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현재 VOD 시스템은 VOD 콘텐츠 생성부분을 제외한 모든 부분이 시스템적으로 자동화되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 VOD 콘텐츠 생성부분을 자동화하는 방법에 대해 제안하였다. 이를 위해 지상파방송 프로그램의 장르별 구성형태를 분석하였다. 분석결과 프로그램의 시작지점인 광고에서 프로그램으로 전환되는 시점과 프로그램의 종료지점인 프로그램에서 광고로 전환되는 시점에 페이드-인 페이드-아웃 효과로 블랙프레임이 규칙적으로 존재함을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 방송프로그램의 각 프레임에서 RGB 값을 이용하여 블랙프레임을 실시간으로 검출하였고, 이를 통해 VOD 파일 자동생성과 광고 교체에 적용 가능하도록 하였다.

Automated design program using commercial process integration and optimization program was developed for conceptual design of fighter-class aircraft. Wind tunnel test data and performance analysis results were compared for the verification of analysis tool of this program, and the usefulness of the tool was found. After integration with radar cross section analysis tool, the correlation with configuration design variables of wing, tail and performance parameters was identified by design of experiment, and the optimized configuration for weight and RCS was derived from optimization of empty weight and average frontal RCS value. After parameter definition of fuselage, the program can be implemented for full aircraft configuration.

CAD tools that has the common data base system are important to design for the VLSI. Each CAD tools are used to design for the VLSI, and to reduce the complexity, man-error, design-time for the IC design. CIF, a layout description language, was proved to be effective in this point. In this article, the program which translates pattern generation data for the mask tooling into CIF data was described. This program has its character in the unification of physical design data base for a design automated CAD system. The output format of CIF data is fitting to the input of the kgraph that is graphic layout editor, and the name of each layer and the output file is extended as a user's option.

DNA and RNA quantifications are widely used in biological and biomedical research. In the last ten years, many technologies have been developed to enable automated and high-throughput analyses. In this review, we first give a brief overview of how DNA and RNA quantifications are carried out. Then, five technologies (microarrays, SAGE, differential display, real time PCR and real competitive PCR) are introduced, with an emphasis on how these technologies can be applied and what their limitations are. The technologies are also evaluated in terms of a few key aspects of nucleic acids quantification such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, cost and throughput.

The routers in an active network perform customized computations on the messages flowing through them, while the role of routers in the traditional packet network, such as the Internet, is to passively forward packets as fast as possible. In contrast to the Internet, the processing in active networks can be customized on a per user or per application basis. Active networks allow users to inject information into the network, where the information describes or controls a program to be executed for the users by the routers as well as the end hosts. So the network users can realize the active networks by "programming" the network behavior via the programming interface exposed to them. In this paper, we devise a network protocol model and present a verification technique for reasoning about the correctness of an active application defined using the model. The technique is developed in a platform- and language-independent way, and it is algorithmic and can be automated by computer program. We give an example dealing with network auction to illustrate the use of the model and the verification technique.
