유한차분법과 ADS(Automated Design Synthesis)를 이용한 광픽업 액추에이터의 동특성 개선 (Improvement of Dynamic Characteristics for Optical Pickup Actuator using Finite Difference Scheme and Automated Design Synthesis)

  • Recently, there have been many researches and developments in optical disc drive by high density of track and high access speed. Therefore, the optical pick-up should guarantee highly accurate dynamic characteristics for the wide bandwidth in order to cope with this trend. These demands for optical pick-up actuator can be solved by improvements of lens-holder through the following methods. The first way is the analysis of the sensitivity matrix of design variables for vibration modes after appropriate design parameters are selected like shapes and local dimensions of a lens-holder. The second way is the optimization of design variables by calculating sequential linear programming after the problem of extending bandwidth are converted to problem of minimizing adequate objective function. In the result, modified FE model is obtained through several iterations by finite difference scheme(FDS). While results of the first way show better convergence of the target frequency, the second result shows better reduction of mass increase.

벨로우즈 자동 모델링과 구조해석 (Automated Modeling and Structure Analysis of Bellows)

  • Pro-program function of Pro/E has been utilized to expedite the design process of bellows. Design parameters selected for bellows design are manipulated to obtain the shapes user specified. User-oriented function may automate the bellows design process and this function may enable to reduce the design time remarkably. Generated bellows solid model has been applied to study of design sensitivity and optimum design. Among the selected design parameters, thickness of bellows affects system response most. Control-ring installed bellows may reduce the stress and prove to be an effective element for heavy load. The finite element analysis results combined with 3D model generated by pro-program may provide the feasible design directions to the bellows designer.

인허가관련 설계품질검토 자동화를 위한 건축법규 문장 관계논리에 관한 연구 (Relational Logic Definition of Articles and Sentences in Korean Building Code for the Automated Building Permit System)

  • This paper aims to define the relational logic of in-between code articles as well as within atomic sentences in Korean Building Code, as an intermediate research and development process for the automated building permit system of Korea. The approach depicted in this paper enables the software developers to figure out the logical relations in order to compose KBimCode and its databases. KBimCode is a computer-readable form of Korean Building Code sentences based on a logic rule-based mechanism. Two types of relational logic definition are described in this paper. First type is a logic definition of relation between code sentences. Due to the complexity of Korean Building code structure that consists of decree, regulation or ordinance, an intensive analysis of sentence relations has been performed. Code sentences have a relation based on delegation or reference each other. Another type is a relational logic definition in a code sentence based on translated atomic sentence(TAS) which is an explicit form of atomic sentence(AS). The analysis has been performed because the natural language has intrinsic ambiguity which hinders interpreting embedded meaning of Building Code. Thus, both analyses have been conducted for capturing accurate meaning of building permit-related requirements as a part of the logic rule-based mechanism.

  • 본 연구는 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 설계를 지원하기 위한 3원 시뮬레이션을 소개한다. 이 시뮬레이션 시스템은 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 가상적 운영을 시뮬레이션 하고 실시간으로 시뮬레이션 결과를 애니메이션 한다. 개발된 시스템은 객체지향 설계와 C++프로그래밍을 적용하여 재사용성과 확장성을 높인 시스템이다. 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 설계단계에서 3차원 시뮬레이션을 통하여 자동화 컨테이너터미널을 가상의 환경으로 구현하여 사전에 발생할 문제점을 도출하고 운영상의 문제점을 예측하거나 운영로직의 합리성을 테스트 할 수 있도록 사용되는 객체들에 대한 성능평가 항목을 선정하고 평가방안을 제시한다.

  • In the current 2D-based design, design reliability is lowered due to interference and inconsistency between plans, errors in drawings and quantities, etc. At the time of transition to BIM-based 3D design, it is necessary to expand the reliability and usability of BIM by eliminating these errors from the design stage through securing the quality of the BIM digital model. Therefore, in the railway infrastructure design stage, the quality management process and standards of the BIM digital model were defined and quality management index were developed. Based on the rule extracted from the quality management index, a pilot quality management was conducted in connection with the commercial Model-Checker rule, problems and improvement plans were derived, and a rule-based automated quality management plan was prepared.

  • 동북아 중심 항만의 기반을 다지기 위해 자동화터미널의 건설이 시급히 요청되고 있다. 따라서 우리나라에 적합한 자동화터미널의 운영시스템 설계방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 자동화터미널의 운영시스템이 추구해야할 목표를 충족시키며 각 자동화 장비를 통한 화물의 수출입 이동경로에 따라 운영시스템의 기본 모델을 4가지로 구분하고, 여러 입력 요소들을 변경시켜 가며 Trial and Error 방법을 통하여 동적으로 분석해 나감으로서 최적의 운영시스템 모델을 설계하였다 본 논문의 운영시스템에서 기술한 장비들은 Quay Crane을 제외한 모든 야드 장비가 완전자동화를 전제로 한 것이다.

  • It is impossible to precat the behavior of ground soil and structure accurately during underground construction in urban area or excavation in soft ground area because of difference between the assumed design condition and the actual site condition. Therefore, it must be managed by measuring system and correct the difference by real data. Large scale under ground construction in urban area like a seoul subway project has needed for Intelligent Construction technique, a field of the Engineering Contractor. The automated measuring system is developed for the technique. It is described that the procedure and the method of measuring work with application of the automated measuring system.

  • In this paper, an automated design and 3-D modeling system of an axial fan and a boss for cooling towers was developed. API and parametric design Provided by a commercial solid-modeler are engaged to automate modeling process. Design data of the boss are assumed to be given by a user with design experiences while the fan from the fan design program using three-dimensional flow analysis. An algorithm avoiding the interferences between fans and a boss is developed. The design data are registered on the database not only to remove duplicate design but also to transfer the data to ERP system.

  • The focus of this paper is on the development and implementation of a methodology for automated design of discrete structural systems. The research is aimed at utilizing Genetic Algorithms (GA) as an automated design tool. Several key enhancements are made to the simple GA in order to increase the efficiency, reliability and accuracy of the methodology for code-based design of structures. The AISC-ASD design code is used to illustrate the design methodology. Small as well as large-scale problems are solved. Simultaneous sizing, shape and topology optimal designs of structural framed systems subjected to static and dynamic loads are considered. Comparisons with results from prior publications and solution to new problems show that the enhancements made to the GA do indeed make the design system more efficient and robust.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop automated structural design and analysis aided-program of aluminum extrusion carbody structures for railway vehicle. This developed program is possible to perform simultaneously structural design and design verification of aluminum extrusion profiles independent of expertise and experience of design engineers. Design engineers was able to design it using database of existing aluminum extrusion profiles or user-defined function. The design verification was programmed to evaluate its structural integrity according to Korean Railway Safety Law or Urban Transit Safety Law. Also, this program could automatically generate an executable file of various commercial finite element program and CAD files such as stp and iges by GUI environment applications using MFC(Microsoft Foundation Classes). In conclusion, it is expected to contribute to reduce product development time and improve product quality of aluminum extrusion profile and structures in railway industry.
