A study of improving SRM of PID controller using genetic algorithms (유전자알고리즘을 사용한 PID제어기에서의 SRM 성능개선)

  • We propose a new method to deal with the optimized auto-tuning for the PID controller which is used to the process-control in various fields. First of all, in this method, initial values are determined by the Switched Reluctance Motor of system and Ziegler-Nichols method. After deciding binary strings of parents generation using by the fitness values of genetic algorithms, we perform selection, crossover and mutation to generate the descendant generation. The advantage of this method is better than the neural network and multiple regression model method in characteristic of output, and has extent of applying without limit of initial parameters.

  • The shape and width of fuzzy membership function has an effect on performance of fuzzy controller. In this paper, fuzzy controller is proposed to improve the control performance of fuzzy controller. It has two fuzzy inference engine. The one is typical fuzzy inference engine, the other is proposed to infer optimal width of membership function in fuzzy controller from plant constant (K,T,L). To show the effectiveness of this fuzzy controller with double fuzzy inference engine, it is applied to plant (dead time + 1st order delay) with various plant constant.

  • 정밀한 서보기술에 바탕을 두고 있는 산업용 로봇 팔은 기계적인 강성도와 서보기구들로 인하여 정확한 제어가 가능하다 그러나 로봇팔은 동작중비 관성모멘트의 변화와 기하학적인 구조로 인하여 비선형적인 시스템이다. 특히 관성모멘트의 변화는 로봇팔의 회전속도와 로봇팔이 이동시키는 대상물의 무게 등에 따라 관성모멘트는 변할 수 있다. 이로 인하여 관성모멘트의 변화에 따라 로봇팔의 정확한 위치제어가 힘들어진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 관성모멘트의 변화에도 불구하고 강인한 응답특성을 나타내는 제어기의 설계가 요구된다. 일반적으로 PID .제어기는 설계의 용이성으로 산업현장에서 널리 사용된다. 그러나 PIB 제어기의 각 계수값을 설정하는데 많은 어려움이 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PID 제어기의 각 계수 값을 퍼지알고리즘을 이용하여 자동으로 설계할 수 있는 자기동조 PID 제어기를 설계한다.

  • The width of fuzzy membership function and control rule has an effect on performance of the fuzzy controller for electric equipment systems. In this paper, the neuro-fuzzy controller is proposed to im¬prove the performance of fuzzy controller. It has the width of membership function, that is adapted to the electrical parameter using multi-layer neural network, it is applied to first order electric power system with dead time and various plant constant. The related simulation resolts show that the pro¬posed neuro fuzzy controller are superior characteristics of improved performance

  • This paper describes the implementation of a fuzzy temperature measuring & control system to control the water temperature in plant. This system consisted of mainly three parts; sensing part, control part that includes a control algorithms introduced the fuzzy theory, and actuating part. The control algorithms of control part are utilized a look-up table method and firmware technique using one-chip microprocessor(89C52). For evaluating the performance of a fuzzy control system, the experiment results of a fuzzy controller are compared with these of a conventional PID controller which provides an auto-tuning function. The experiment results show that the proposed controller has a good control performance and is robust to external disturbance.

  • This Paper proposes a simple identification method of the moment of inertia for high performance spindle motor of machine tool. It uses the dynamic equation of a simple mechanical system, the torque reference of a speed controller, and the actual rotating speed of machine. The identified inertia can be for auto-tuning of the gains in the speed controller. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by the computer simulation.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy model is identified and optimized using the hybrid algorithm and HCM clustering method. Here, the hybrid algorithm is carried out as the structure combined with both a genetic algorithm and the improved complex method. The one is utilized for determining the initial parameters of membership function, the other for obtaining the fine parameters of membership function. HCM clustering algorithm is used to determine the confined region of initial parameters and also to avoid overflow phenomenon during auto-tuning of hybrid algorithm. And the standard least square method is used for the identification of optimum consequence parameters of fuzzy model. Two numerical examples are shown to evaluate the performance of the proposed model.

  • During the operation of crane system in container yard, the objective is to transport the load to a goal position as quick as possible without rope oscillation. The container crane is generally operated by an expert operator, but recently an automatic control system with high speed and rapid transportation is required. Therefore, we developed an optimal controller which has to control the crane system with disturbances. In this paper, we present a design of optima 2-DOF PID controller for the control of gantry crane which has to control swing motion and trolley position. We used evolution strategy(ES) to tune the parameters of 2-DOF PID controller. It was compared with general PID controller. The computer simulations show that the proposed method has better performances than the other method.

  • In this paper, a temperature controller with monitor function is proposed for the electric furnace system. This controller includes holding and ramp control function, and the control program for the temperature process monitor of the electric furnace. For this purpose, the implementation and performance of auto tuning algorithms in a computer-based controller was studied in relation to the control of nonlinear electric furnace system which is characterized with large delay time. The control program for this controller programmed by c-language. To communicate a control and detection signals, between the controller and the electric furnace is implemented by the I/O data card. We apply the temperature controller to the practical electric furnace. As a result, the proposed controller shows the better status characteristic.

  • 산업용 발전기의 경우 시판되고 있는 발전기의 용량이 다양하다. 각 용량에 따라 내부 임피던스가 틀려, 하나의 제어기로 각기 다른 용량을 제어를 하는데 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 여자기의 내부 임피던스를 자동으로 계산하여 하나의 제어기로 각기 다양한 용량을 가진 발전기의 여자기의 전류를 제어하는 방법을 제안한다.
