비틀어진 형상(Twisted)을 가지는 고층 구조물의 역학적 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Static Characteristics of High-Rise Structures With Twisted Shape)

  • In this study, structural characteristics were analyzed by combining gravity load and lateral loads such as seismic loads through static analysis of example structures, and the static characteristics of the twisted structure according to the plane rotation angle were also analyzed. Example structures were selected as regular structure, and twisted structures; 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 degree angle of rotation per story, and static analysis was performed by the load combination case 1 and case 2. As a result the story drift ratio of the twisted-shaped structure also increased as the plane rotation angle per story increased. The eccentricity according to the load combination was the highest in the lower stories of all analysis models, and the eccentricity was found to be larger as the rotation angle decreased. The twisted-shaped structure was more responsible for the bending moment of the column than the regular structure, and the vertical member axial force of all analysis models was almost similar.

  • In this paper, a twisted shape structure with an elevation form favorable to the resistance of vibration caused by wind loads is selected from among the forms of high-rise buildings. The analytical model is a square, triangular, and hexagonal plane with a plane rotation angle of one degree from 0 to 3 degrees per each story. As a result of the analysis, as the twist angle increased, story drift ratio is increased. Responses with different eccentricity rates were shown by analytical models. Therefore planar shapes designed symmetrically to the horizontal axis of X and Y are considered advantageous for eccentricity and torsion deformation. In the case of the bending moment of the column, the response was amplified in the column supporting the base floor, the roof floor, the floor in which the cross-section of the vertical member changes, and the floor having the same number of nodes as the base floor. Finally, the axial force response of the column is determined to be absolutely affected by the gravity load compared to the lateral load.

현대물리학의 패러다임과 건축 디자인의 개념 변화 (The Changes of Architectural Design Concept by the Paradigm of Modern Physics)

  • 물리학의 이론들은 사회 현상을 바라보는 관점과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 이 이론들은 건축에도 영향을 주었다. 본 연구에서는 물리학의 사고가 건축 디자인에 영향을 준 내용을 고찰하고, 상호 연관성을 확인하고자 한다. 연구 내용을 보면 입자 중심의 사고인 고전물리학은 19세기 초반의 건축에서 균질공간으로 나타나고, 건축의 특징은 절대 공간 속에서 장소와 관계없이 기하학적이고 건물에 제한된 내용으로 이해하고 세워졌다. 반면 현대 건축은 현대물리학의 장이론과 양자역학, 그리고 상대성 이론 등의 사고와 관계가 있다. 따라서 건축을 바라보는 관점이 영역성, 상호성 및 시간성 등으로 이해하게 되었으며, 이것의 영향으로 다양하고 비정형 등의 내용으로 건축이 세워지고 있다. 연구를 통해 건축과 물리학의 사고는 상호 연관이 있으며, 현대건축의 디자인에 나타나는 건축적 사고는 현대물리학의 이론에서 보여 지고 있는 패러다임 내용이 적용된 것을 알 수 있다.

  • 컴퓨터 비전 시스템의 발달로 보안, 생체인식, 의료영상, 자율주행 등의 분야에 많은 발전이 있었다. 자율주행 분야에서는 특히 딥러닝을 이용한 객체인식, 탐지 기법이 주로 사용되는데, 자동차가 갈 수 있는 영역을 판단하기 위한 도로영역 인식이 특히 중요한 문제이다. 도로 영역은 일반적인 객체탐지에서 활용되는 사각영역인식과는 달리 비정형적인 형태를 띠므로, ROI 기반의 객체인식 구조는 적용할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 Semantic segmentation 기법을 사용한 비정형적인 도로영역 인식에 맞는 심층 신경망 구조를 제안한다. 또한 도로영역에 특화된 네트워크 구조인 Multi-scale semantic segmentation 기법을 사용하여 성능이 개선됨을 입증하였다.

비정형 초고층건물의 코어 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Core Characteristics of Irregular-Shaped High-rise Buildings)

  • The history of tall buildings begins in 1853with the development of elevators. After the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century, the development of high-rise buildings will be carried out in earnest as a means to efficiently use the limited land of cities. The development, which began around Chicago, extended over a long period of time to Asia, maximizing the high competition. However, in the 2000s, not only was it high due to the development of construction and digital technology, but it also became competitive in eco-friendly elements and unstructured forms. High-rise building plans that have gained elemental and morphological diversity are completed by the interrelationships of various plans. Among them, it is important that the core plan has a reasonable approach from the initial planning stage as the basis for the vertical copper plan linking vertically-intensive functions. The cores should be designed to be clear and adequately responsive to changes in the shape of the building. This study aims to provide designers with a reasonable understanding of core planning by identifying core characteristics of irregular high-rise. In particular, we want to analyze the shape of the ground layer core and the relationship between the area and components of the ground layer core. The analysis results are as follows, classified according to the type or use of the building. Of the atypical forms composed of double bending, the TAPER-Curve and TWIST forms are the most distributed, and the plane and core shapes of the ground floor are the most commonly used. Based on the analysis of the validity of the ground floor cores by shape of the cores, the most commonly used forms for core shapes in the planning of the atypical high-rise are square, circular and Oval, and the most efficient oval cores and relatively inefficient ones when planned.

  • Well-differentiated papillary mesothelial tumor (WDPMT) is an uncommon tumor, formerly named well-differentiated papillary mesothelioma in the 2015 World Health Organization classification. It has a characteristic papillary architecture, bland cytologic features, a tendency toward superficial spread without invasion, and a good prognosis due to its clinically indolent behavior with prolonged survival. Rare cases with superficial invasion are termed WDPMT with invasive foci. WDPMT occurs primarily in the peritoneum of reproductive-age women, but also rarely in the pleura. We report a case of a 60-year-old woman who developed WDPMT with minimal invasion in the pleura with atypical radiological features and a family history of mesothelioma and indirect asbestos exposure.

3D 레이저 스캐닝과 BIM 연동을 통한 건축물 노후 상태 정보 시각화 프로세스 (Integration of 3D Laser Scanner and BIM Process for Visualization of Building Defective Condition)

  • 주기적인 건축물 안전진단은 구조적 안전성 및 잠재적 위험을 조기에 파악할 수 있다. 하지만 기존의 수집 방식은 비정형화된 형태의 주관적 데이터가 주로 사용되며, 노동집약적이고 시간 소모적이기 때문에 신뢰성이 떨어진다. 이에 본 연구는 3D 레이저 스캐너를 이용하여 건축물 노후 상태 정보를 수집하고 Building Information Modeling(BIM)으로 통합하여 시각화하는 방안을 제안하며, 순서는 다음과 같다: (1) 3D 레이저 스캐너와 파이썬 스크립트를 통한 데이터 수집, (2) Scan-to-BIM 프로세스, (3) 다이나모를 이용한 상태 데이터 시각화 및 정보 통합. 이를 통해 데이터 저장과 보고서 및 도면 작성 과정의 생략에 따른 시간 단축 효과를 확인하였다. 또한 시각화된 3D 모델은 건축물 유지관리자가 효율적인 결정을 할 수 있도록 한다. 이를 통해 유지관리 업무 효율성이 향상될 것으로 예상된다.

유방의 침윤성 미세유두암종의 세침흡인 세포검사 (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Invasive Micropapillary Carcinoma of the Breast)

  • Invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) of the breast is recently described rare variant of invasive ductal carcinoma. This variant has a distinctive histological features and aggressive biological behavior. We reviewed the cytologic features of eight cases of IMPC. The cytologic smears showed moderate to high cellularity and the tumor tissue was composed of atypical, angulated, cohesive clusters of neoplastic cells with a papillary to tubuloalveolar architecture, and a morular growth pattern without fibrovascular cores was seen on the histopathology. IMPC of the breast has distinctive cytologic features and it is important to make an early diagnosis via fine needle aspiration cytology due to this tumor's aggressive behavior.

A Case of Visceral T Cell Lymphoma with Prominent Histiocyte Infiltration in a Dog

  • A 13-year-old intact male English Springer Spaniel presented with anorexia. Physical examination revealed a palpable abdominal mass without peripheral lymphadenopathy. Ultrasonography revealed hepatosplenomegaly and a markedly enlarged hepatic lymph node. Fine-needle aspiration of the splenic and nodal lesions revealed atypical round cells admixed with numerous histiocytes. The dog was euthanized owing to deteriorating condition despite a month of chemotherapy with lomustine. Histopathology revealed obliteration of the normal architecture of the liver, spleen, kidney, and hepatic and mesenteric lymph nodes by CD3+ neoplastic lymphocytes, accompanied by extensive F4/80+ histiocytic infiltration. This report describes a rare presentation of T-cell lymphoma with prominent histiocytic infiltration that may initially be misdiagnosed as histiocytic neoplasia in a dog.

공간구문론을 이용한 자하 하디드 뮤지엄 건축의 공간구조 분석 (Analysis of the Spatial Structure of Zaha Hadid's Museum using Space Syntax)

  • Buildings of the de-constructive tendency beyond definite forms are being constructed in countries with economic power, technical skills and open culture because they require social conditions to accommodate those buildings as well as a lot of construction expenses. Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid can be chosen as the representative architects of de-constructivism series who are currently working hard. Though both of them are architects belonging to the de-constructivism category, their works show different construction due to the differences in architectural philosophy and working ways. Gehry consider Architect as a fine art and enjoy (sculpture) three-dimensional structure work through Rough Model. With increasing demand for landmark atypical buildings, Hadid has been frequently awarded in the recent series of International Competitions and deals with a lot of cultural works. Affected by absolutism, Hadid showed various diagonal lines in her early construction and works based on the theme of dynamics such as lightness, gliding and light contact with the ground etc. Hadid's Architecture which worked under the theme of dynamic contains a variety of diagonal lines that might cause the viewers to have difficulty on spatial awareness, thus It is known that Hadid's Architecture has lower efficiency on the Circulation and difficulty on spatial cognition compared to the typical museum. According to the research findings of the previous paper that space understanding of viewers on Frank Gehry Museum consisting of complicated planes is generally better than that of them on a typical museum, the purpose of this study is to find out the Circulation efficiency and spatial cognition of Hadid Museum by explaining the space structure of dynamic Hadid Museum and the difference compared to typical museum.
