여대생의 모유수유 지식 및 태도 조사 (A Survey of Female College Students' Knowledge and Attitudes Toward Breastfeeding)

  • Breastfeeding is an ideal approach for physical and emotional development of babies, as well as recovery of mothers. A breastfeeding education for female students seems to be an effective intervention to increase the Korean women breastfeeding rate. The purpose of this study was to evaluate their knowledge, attitudes, and other related breastfeeding variables for developing a design for a pre-parental breastfeeding educational information for Korean female students of childbearing age. The sample consisted of 205 Korean female college students, ranging in age from 20 to 25 years old. In this study, a self-administered questionnaire included 6 pages with close-ended multiple-choice questions, and included a cover page with 15 questions on demographic characteristics and personal experiences related to breastfeeding. Data analysis was done utilizing inferential statistics using SPSS 12.0 computer program. The findings indicated that breastfeeding education programs should focus on the practical aspect of attitudes toward. breastfeeding, and that educational information design should focus on the practical aspects of breastfeeding for all. levels of students' education by nurses. Therefore, education for female college students seems to be an effective intervention to increase breastfeeding rate. This study is useful for descriptions of educational activities to help female students develop positive attitudes to breastfeed, to help these students have confidence toward breast-feeding in future by providing correct information and practical techniques on breastfeeding.

음악중재 청소년 금연교실 파일럿 연구: 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 (Using Focus Group Interview to Explore the Effectiveness of Adolescent Smoking Cessation Program with Music Therapy)

  • Objectives: This pilot study was designed to examine whether the adolescent smoking cessation program with harmonica therapy was effective or not. It was qualitatively explored perceived smoking consequences, cessation and relapse experience, specific harmonica help to overcome smoking urge, preference of harmonica toward cessation, and harmonica intervention planning to quit. Methods: The treatment program was conducted 30-minute, 6-session, and once a week basis. Qualitative data using Focus Group Interview were collected at the completion of the program with 6 participants, and analyzed by Krueger's systematic process. Results: Participants were smoking daily and consumed 3-10 cigarettes. They recognized undesirable smoking consequences in terms of cost, interpersonal relationship, and health that might lead to cessation attempts in the past. Participants who did not want to quit smoking at the program beginning changed their attitude to quit after exploring partial cessation efforts with the help of harmonica therapy. They believe harmonica's consistent help of quitting and leading to success. Conclusion: Adolescent attitudinal change toward smoking cessation has promising insight of motivation enhancement through harmonica therapy that was a major barrier to successful quit.

초등학생의 흡연지식.흡연태도와 흡연행동에 관한 연구 (The Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior on Smoking in Elementary School Students)

  • I began the study to identify the issues related to knowledge. attitude and behavior regarding smoking by sixth graders. which will ultimately lead to the development of a smoking prevention program that will not only help deter school-age children from smoking, but also make them aware of the more desirable behaviors and techniques for healthier life. The results are as follows: 1. Smoking Behavior: Of the focus group. 4.15% are current smokers and 18.23% are ever smokers. 2. Correlation between smoking knowledge and ever smoking: Ever smoking sample($11.10{\pm}3.66$) is less knowledge able than the never-smoking sample($12.17{\pm}3.95$), (t=3.23. p=.001). 3. Correlation between smoking attitude and ever smoking: Ever smoking sample($28.12{\pm}8.51$) was less desirable than the never-smoking sample($l2.17{\pm}3.95$). (t=8.24, p=.000). 4. Correlation between smoking Knowledge and smoking attitude: knowledge about smoking and attitude toward smoking are quantitatively correlated in such way that the more knowledgeable the child is about smoking. the more desirable the attitude toward smoking is(r=.17. p=.000). 5. Correlation between socio-anthropological characteristics and ever smoking: family . atmosphere($x^2$=16.49. p=.001), school life ($x^2$=l1.58, p= .003), grades in school( $x^2$=11.89. p=.003), gender($x^2$=8.97. p=.003). friends' gathering place($x^2$=13.19. p=.02), marital status of parents(p* =.03). and family's financial status($x^2$=6.71. p=.035). In addition, Correlation between somking-environmental characteristics and ever smoking: number of friends who smoke($x^2$=76.01. p=.001). information source for smoking($x^2$=48.03. p=.001), whether or not siblings smoke($x^2$=26.07, p=.001), whether or not female relatives smoke ( $x^2$= 15.65. p= .001), whether or not father smokes ($x^2$= 12.10. p= .007), errands to buy cigarettes for someone($x^2$=9.18. p=.010), and whether or not male relatives smoke ($x^2$=8.82. p=.35) 6. Results of the logistic analysis performed to identify the factors correlated to ever smoking show that: one point decrease in attitude score translates to 25.39 times' increase in ever smoking one person decrease in the number of friends who smoke translates to 0.66 times' decrease in ever smoking: the group where the father has quit smoking has 1.40 times more ever smoking than the group where the father does not smoke at all: and likewise, the group where the father currently smokes has 1.40 times more ever smoking than the group where the father has quit smoking. 7. The overall cause-and-effect relationship between the ever smoking and the related factors: attitude toward smoking caused ever smoking by -.43, smoking by friends, by .12, marital status of arents, by .05, school life. by .04, gender, by -.03, and smoking by father, by -.02. Knowledge about smoking (t=-1.67) did not cause significant effects on ever smoking.

고등학생의 방사선조사식품에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위 (Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior of High School Students Regarding Irradiated Foods)

  • 방사선조사식품에 대한 광범위한 국민적 공감대를 형성하고 국민이해를 제고하기 위한 커뮤니케이션 전략의 일환으로 교육적인 개입전략을 계획하는데 필요한 기초 근거자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 일반인 중 교육의 파급효과가 높은 고등학생을 대상으로 방사선조사식품에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위 수준을 조사한 결과 방사선조사식품에 대해 정보를 습득한 경험이 없는 학생이 82.9%(627명), 교육 경험이 없는 학생이 89.3%(675명)로 압도적으로 많았다. 교육을 받지 못한 이유로는 교육의 기회가 없어서(88.2%)가 대부분이었다. 방사선조사식품에 대한 지식수준은 1.71점(10점 만점)으로 매우 낮은 수준을 나타냈고, 방사선조사식품의 안전성에 대한 태도수준도 2.76점(5점 만점)으로 비교적 낮은 태도수준을 나타냈다. 이는 방사선조사식품에 대한 매우 낮은 지식과 부정적 태도를 가지고 있기 때문에 방사선조사식품을 구입 및 섭취로 이어지는 행위수준은 낮을 수밖에 없다고 예측할 수 있다. 또한 방사선조사식품에 대한 교육경험이 있는 학생이 교육 경험이 없는 학생보다 방사선조사식품에 대한 긍정적 태도수준이 더 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 이러한 결과는 방사선조사식품에 대한 지식제공 뿐만 아니라 올바른 태도형성을 위한 교육을 함께 제공할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다.

남성노인의 차별경험이 노인인식 및 노년기 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 가족기능과 동년배관계의 매개효과 검증 - (Study on the effects of the male elderly's age discrimination experiences on their perception of the elderly and attitude toward the old age life -Examination of mediation effects of family function and peer relations-)

  • 은퇴 후 사회적 지위와 가족 내 역할에 변화를 겪는 남성노인은 차별경험으로 인해 부정적 노인인식과 노년기 태도를 갖게 될 가능성이 높다. 본 연구는 남성노인의 차별경험이 노인인식과 노년기 태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 가족기능과 동년배관계의 매개효과를 검증하여 사회복지적 개입방안을 찾고자 한다. 조사대상은 서울지역 노인종합복지관을 이용하는 남성노인 215명이며, 매개효과 검증을 위해 구조방정식 모형을 이용한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남성노인의 차별경험은 노인인식에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남성노인의 차별경험이 노년기 태도에 미치는 영향은 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남성노인의 차별경험이 노인인식에 미치는 영향에 있어서 가족기능과 동년배관계가 완전매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 남성노인의 차별경험이 노년기 태도에 미치는 영향에 있어서 가족기능과 동년배관계는 부분매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 근본적으로 노인차별을 줄이기 위한 노력이 필요하다는 것과 가족기능과 동년배관계의 강화는 긍정적인 노인인식과 노년기 태도를 갖게 함을 보여주는 것이다. 따라서 노인차별을 줄이기 위한 제도적 접근, 가족기능 강화를 위한 가족상담 프로그램 및 대안가족 제시, 동년배관계 강화를 위한 지역사회 중심의 노인활동 지원이 필요함을 제언하였다.

임상실습경험에 따른 간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도와 자아존중감 및 삶의 만족도 비교 (Comparison of Attitudes of Nursing Students toward Death, Self-esteem and Life Satisfaction according to Clinical Experience)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 경험유무에 따른 죽음에 대한 태도, 자아존중감 및 삶의 만족도의 차이를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 방법: 양산시에 위치한 2개 대학에 재학 중인 간호대학생 1,030명으로 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집은 2010년 10월 1일~10월 30일까지 강의시간 이외의 시간에 연구의 목적과 방법을 설명하고 설문에 대한 응답은 익명으로 처리됨을 알려 준 뒤 연구에 참여하기로 자발적으로 동의한 대상자에게 서면동의서와 설문지를 배부하고 개별적으로 설문내용을 작성하도록 한 후 현지에서 직접 회수하였고, 수집된 자료는 PASW statistics data editor 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 카이제곱 검정, t 검정, 분산분석, Scheffe 검정과 Pearson correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 결과: 죽음에 대한 태도 점수는 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생의 경우 2.85점, 실습경험이 없는 간호대학생의 경우 2.79점으로 중간수준이었으며, 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생이 임상실습 경험이 없는 간호대학생에 비해 죽음에 대해 보다 긍정적인 태도를 가지고 있었고 자아존중감과 삶의 만족도가 높았다. 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도는 자신이 지각하는 경제수준과 본인이 지각하는 자신의 건강상태에 따라 죽음에 대한 태도의 차이가 있었으며, 자아존중감과 만족도와 낮은 상관관계가 있었다. 결론: 간호제공자의 죽음에 대한 태도는 임종간호의 가장 중요한 요소로 간호의 질을 결정함을 감안할 때 미래의 간호사가 될 간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도를 보다 긍정적으로 변화시킬 필요가 있다. 특히 임상실습 경험이 없는 간호대학생이 죽음에 대해 보다 부정적인 태도를 가지고 있었고 자아존중감과 삶의 만족도가 낮았으므로 이들에게 보다 적극적인 관심이 필요할 것이다. 한편 임상실습 경험 유무에 따른 간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도, 자아존중감 및 삶의 만족도에 대한 선행연구가 부족하여 논의하는데 제한이 있으므로 반복연구가 필요할 것을 제언한다.

Influences of Motivations on Interactivity in the Live Streaming Commerce

  • Purpose: This study focuses how motivations influence interactivity in the live streaming commerce context. Live streaming commerce involves the provision of e-commerce activities and transactions via a live streaming platform that offers real-time interaction, entertainment, social activities, and commerce. The purpose of study is to examine effects of motivations on perceived interactivity and the effects of perceived interactivity on attitude and intention to use the live streaming commerce. Research design, data and methodology: The study investigates key questions about consumers' motivation to use live streaming commerce and perceived interactivity by surveying 300 users of live commerce. Participants were asked whether they were live streaming commerce users who had experienced live streaming commerce before participating in the survey. The full survey required live streaming commerce users to respond to all the questions. Results: The study uncovered motivations for using live streaming commerce by finding information, entertainment, pass time, fashion/status and real time and perceived interactivity in the live streaming commerce. The results indicated motivation to use live streaming commerce positively influenced perceived interactivity. Perceived interactivity had positive effects on attitude toward brand. Attitude toward brand had positive effects on intention to use. Conclusions: Live streaming commerce is getting increasing attention from marketers because live streaming commerce has seamlessly integrated commerce, social activities, and hedonic factors. This study clarifies motivations and perceived interactivity in the live streaming commerce context. The study uncovers the relationships between motivations, perceived interactivity, attitude, and intention to use that contributes to the theoretical foundation and practical implications for marketing and management in the live streaming commerce context. Specifically, the study develops the theoretical contributions to perceived interactivity in the in the live streaming commerce context. The results also contribute to the practical implications for new marketing strategies that provides dynamic real-time interaction, exact information, and social and hedonic factors to attract consumers to indulge in the consumption processes. Marketing practitioners will obtain insights that can help them develop and manage brand strategies by understanding the influence of motivation and perceived interactivity in the live commerce context, which offers opportunities for contactless marketing and management.

응급실 간호사의 아동학대 신고의도 (Intention to Report Child Abuse of Emergency Room Nurse)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to examine a attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, intention to report child abuse and to identify predictors of emergency room (ER) nurses' intention to report child abuse cases. Methods: A total of 364 nurses in ER participated in this study. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test or ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: 84.1 % of emergency room nurses reported feeling of obligation to report child abuse. Attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control were positively correlated with intention to report child abuse. Intention to report child abuse was predicted by emergency room nurse's attitude, perceived behavior control, subjective norm, ER nurse career, and recognition as a reporting obligator. Conclusion: Child abuse education program should be developed to help ER nurses to report child abuse case and positive attitude toward reporting the cases.

뇌전증 아동 어머니의 뇌전증에 대한 지식, 태도 및 불안 (Knowledge, Attitude and Anxiety in Mothers of Children with Epilepsy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate levels and correlations of epilepsy specific knowledge, attitude and anxiety in mothers of children with epilepsy. Methods: Participants were 176 mothers of children with epilepsy living in B and Y cities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients with the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: Participants scored 57.2 (${\pm}1.7$) out of 100 points on epilepsy-related knowledge; 35.6 (${\pm}5.0$) out of 48 points on attitude toward epilepsy; 58.1 (${\pm}15.3$) out of 85 on anxiety related to a child's epileptic condition. The participants had higher levels of epilepsy-related knowledge if their family monthly income was three million KRW or higher (t=-2.92, p=.004); if there was no side effect from the medication (t=-2.91, p=.004); and if the mothers' perception of the child's health was good (F=6.181, p=.001). There was a positive correlation between knowledge and attitude related to epilepsy (r=.321, p<.001), and a negative correlation between knowledge and anxiety (r=-.257, p=.001). Conclusion: Findings indicate that interventions which reduce mothers' anxiety by providing epilepsy specific knowledge and help to achieve more positive attitudes to better ways of coping with child's disease.

Assessment of Bank Customer's Attitude Toward Financial Technology in Pakistan

  • The financial technology sector is now growing rapidly all over the world, and it has improved the banking system efficiency and customer experience. This research study attempts explicitly to explore the consumer acceptance attitude of FinTech and its products in Pakistan. Technology Acceptance Model was used to assess the entire variable associated with the consumer attitude to adopt new technology. Based on a survey conducted from Pakistan data and by employing the multiple regression analysis, this study proves that the risk involved in FinTech products and services results in less usage of financial technology. The findings of the study also show that the risk should be reduced if banks and other institutes that are involved in financial transactions online must provide security. Moreover, customers are not willing to pay an extra amount for using financial technology. It argues that usefulness helps to change the attitude of banking customers to use financial technology. The attitudes of the customers have a positive relationship with the adoption of financial technology. These results also help guide financial institutions to enhance the adoption of FinTech products. User attitudes must be changed by providing users with more security, less risky applications, and cost-effective products.
