Today, using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) card is extended in diversity as medical treatment, circulation market, military affairs, manufacture, security, etc. The RFID technology is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data for the purpose of identification using radio waves. This advantage of the RFID will be as a replacement for traditional Barcoding. Besides, book-lending system and attendance management system become the center of educational institution in interest. This paper presents a attendance management system using the RFID card which provides directly information of attendance for professors with mobile and students with web. Also, the students only have ID card that embed RFID tag which is recognized attendance through DB that storages to is received a information of student from RFID card Reader. And it is possible management or report for attendance and time table not only for professors by management program but also for students by web program.

An important factor in education is ensuring reliable quality of education. There are a variety of ways based on criteria to ensure the quality of education. To ensure quality management, attendance is important which is highly reliable rating at the account education of Ministry of Employment and Labor and sevice training of Health Care. In contrast, the service training of health care professionals was consisting of formal attendance management, quality of education has been raised as a problem. Recently developed USN-based attendance management system is effective. But if education is proceed at a large number of small scale in the area of education, cost, portability, systeme management, the reliability of the Trainee's attendance remained as problems to solve. To address these needs, this paper quoted low-cost attendance management system which was desighned and implemented by barcode and PC camera. As a result the actual maintenance training system showed a 98% satisfaction in terms of administrator and 95% satisfaction in terms of Trainee.

This study analyzed the intention of continuous use of the electronic attendance-absence system. Perceived ease of use, acceptance attitude, and user satisfaction variables were selected to analyze the factors affecting the intention of continuous use. To achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted targeting students who had experience in using the electronic attendance-absence system at K University located in Chungcheongbuk-do. The use environment of the electronic attendance-absence system was non-face-to-face, and the questionnaires answered by 921 students were analyzed. The study results are as follows. First, perceived ease of use and acceptance of the electronic attendance-absence system were found to have a positive effect on user satisfaction. Second, it was found that the learner's perceptual ease, acceptance attitude, and user satisfaction for the electronic attendance-absence system had a positive effect on the intention of continuous use. This study is meaningful in that it identified the intention of continuous use based on the experience of the electronic attendance-absence system in a non-face-to-face environment.

This paper implements an effective attendance management and monitoring system utilizing the RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and Smart phone for student. In this paper, RFID system use 13.56MHz to control the attendance, and we can show that information of RFID and dynamic image through IP camera in Smart phone. We also make up the contents and database utilizing the labview program in computer. Especially, proposed technique can obtain dynamic image by server implementation at real time basis so that it is possible to use simultaneously several Smart phone. From the various and practical experiment, it is confirm that proposed system is useful for attendance management and remotely monitoring.

As Major League Baseball (MLB)'s continuous decline in popularity has caused its game attendance to drop gradually, the league makes a desperate attempt such as game rule changes to remain relevant. Along with the introduction of new rules to make games more dynamic such as the pitch clock, bigger bases, and defensive shift limitations, it is important for MLB franchises to understand drivers for game attendance. We focus on the effect of accumulated winning performance of the two teams on game attendance, one of the key drivers of game attendance, and investigate how it is influenced by consumer and industry factors such as online search and game rule changes. We find that game attendance increases as the prior winning performance of the home (away) team increases (decreases). We also find that online search and rule changes for more dynamic games moderate the effect of winning performance on game attendance.

Purpose: This study sought to explore the effects of air pollution on professional sports in South Korea. Research design, data, and methodology: The dependent variable, the number of attendances, was comprised of 2013-2017 K-league, 2015-2017 KBO, 2014-2017 KBL regular season games, resulting in 1,063, 2,121, 810 individual match-level observations, respectively. With the actual data collected from each place across the country, we created a categorical variable which identify the air quality index divided into four categories by K-eco (i.e., good, moderate, unhealthy, hazardous). To analyze data, ANOVA was employed. Results: First, there was a significant group effect on K-league attendance. Second, there was a significant group effect of KBO attendance. Lastly, there was a significant group effect on KBL attendance. Conclusions: Summary of above results showed that each professional sport leagues' attendance was significantly different depending on the levels of air pollution. Implications were also discussed. Recently, many universities have used various electronic attendance systems such as NFC, QR code, Sound-QR, Bluetooth BLE authentication, and face recognition to process attendance. However, existing methods have various problems such as attendance errors due to deformation of authentication signals, mis-recognition attendance from outside the classroom, and difficulty to process seat absence during class. Therefore, this study proposes a high-frequency signal-based electronic attendance system to solve these problems and manage more accurate electronic attendance. As the high-frequency signal replaces the BLE signal, and the transmission range of the signal is limited to the classroom, and the signal value can be immediately changed if a change of the signal is needed. To verify the performance of the proposed system, we conducted a comparative experiment with the Bluetooth based electronic attendance system, and as a result, the proposed method showed high accuracy. Thus, the proposed method will be a useful service that can be immediately used in smart device-based electronic attendance system.

Although individual-level factors (e.g., attitudes, personality) have long been associated with day-to-day attendance decisions, increasingly researchers have recognized "the social nature of attendance dynamics and their susceptibility to social control (Johns, 2008)." Implications of this social approach for research would be to focus attention on the causes and effects of absence culture (i.e., absence-related perceptions, beliefs, values), and the effects of absence culture on individual and group attendance within social units. Construction projects typically require workers to work in teams or crews on highly interdependent projects, and, thus, are particularly relevant contexts to study absence culture. In this paper we apply a system dynamics (SD) model to study absence culture by utilizing the advantages of SD in capturing a feedback process and state changes. We were particularly interested in: (a) the awareness of social norms within construction crews that pertained to attendance, (b) the interplay between formal attendance rules (policy) and these social norms, and (c) how these sources of influence affected the decision-making process of construction crew members. We expect that the results of this work will help construction organizations evaluate (or re-consider) the effects of their attendance control policies (e.g., timing, strength, and frequency) within a social context. Moreover, our findings suggest that the key to reducing excessive absences might be to invest time in influencing absence culture directly rather than imposing frequent and strict regulations - which, in turn, may inadvertently fortify a culture that works against the organization's interests.

There are management and price problems that have been caused by requirement of RFID reader, Fingerprint Identification System and Clicker for the construct of automatic attendance system to check the students' attendance accurately and quickly. Therefore, in the thesis, we developed smartphone based attendance check system by utilizing Wi-Fi and the smartphones that has been already built without using additional equipments and establishing construction of system additionally. It recognizes date, time, location and the seat number in classroom if a student logs the attendance chocking application in and it also allows students to get lecture feedback and check attendance by taking quizzes and questionnaires that are related to the lecture. As a result, by applying the attendance check system, instructors state that it is convenient since the app allows instructors to communicate with students though the quizzes and questionnaires. Especially, the instructors state that it is convenient because the results of the quizzes, questionnaires and attendance can be downloaded it the from of Excel files.

현재 대부분의 대학에서 학생들의 출결(출석, 결석)사항관리는 수기로 처리하고 있다. 매 수업시간마다 수기로 작성해야하는 출석부는 통계분석이 실시간으로 이루어지지 않기 때문에 학생스스로도 본인의 출결관리의 번거로움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 출결관리의 간소화 및 투명화, 문서의 분실, 실시간 조회를 위한 안드로이드 스마트폰 기반의 학생 출결관리 시스템을 설계하였다.
