토픽모델링을 활용한 인공지능 연구동향 분석 (Analysis of artificial intelligence research trends using topic modeling)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인공지능의 연구동향을 분석하는 것이다. 입체적인 분석을 위하여 인공지능에 대한 사회과학에서의 연구방향과 공학에서의 연구방향의 차이를 객관적으로 비교하여 제시하고자 시도하였다. 연구방법은 빅데이터 분석방법론 중에서 토픽모델링을 활용하였으며, 분석데이터는 학술연구정보시스템에서 인공지능(AI)라는 키워드로 검색된1000개의 영문 논문을 활용하였다. 분석결과 사회과학분야에서는 인공지능에 대하여 '인간', '영향', '미래'라는 키워드를 중심으로 형성된 그룹을 확인할 수 있었고, 공학분야에서는 '인공지능 기반의 기술개발', '시스템', '위험-보안' 등의 그룹이 형성되었다.

소아 침치료 연구에 대한 계량서지학적 분석: Web of Science를 중심으로 (A Bibliometric Analysis of Studies on Pediatric Acupuncture: Based on Web of Science)

  • Objectives This bibliometric analysis aimed to determine the status of pediatric acupuncture research. Methods Relevant bibliographic information up to January 9, 2024, was collected through searches in the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliographic information was preprocessed for data analysis and analyzed using VOSviewer software. Network maps of the authors and their affiliated institutions in the included studies were constructed and visualized, and clusters for each major node were identified. In addition, the latest research keywords were visualized using an overlay visualization function. Results The field of pediatric acupuncture research has shown a 20.5-fold quantitative increase in the number of publications over the past 30 years (1991 - 2023). In the field of pediatric acupuncture research, the United States has the highest productivity and influence, and South Korea ranked 7th in productivity and 10th in influence. Through keyword analysis in the field of pediatric acupuncture research, four clusters were identified. Pain management, use in pediatric oncology, and use in postoperative management were identified as important clinical topics. There is a lack of exchange among researchers in the field of pediatric acupuncture. Conclusions Pediatric acupuncture research continues to show quantitative growth and western countries have shown high productivity and influence in this field. In this study, the major keywords in the field of pediatric acupuncture research were identified, and the results can be used to establish the research direction of the Korean medicine community.

Awareness, attitude, and behavior of global and Korean consumers towards vegan fashion consumption - A social big data analysis -

  • This study utilizes social big data to investigate the factors influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior toward vegan fashion consumption among global and Korean consumers. Social media posts containing the keyword "vegan fashion" were gathered, and meaningful discourse patterns were identified using semantic network analysis and sentiment analysis. The study revealed that diverse factors guide the purchase of vegan fashion products within global consumer groups, while among Korean consumers, the predominant discourse involved the concepts of veganism and ethics, indicating a heightened awareness of vegan fashion. The research then delved into the factors underpinning awareness (comprehension of animal exploitation, environmental concerns, and alternative materials), attitudes (both positive and negative), and behaviors (exploration, rejection, advocacy, purchase decisions, recommendations, utilization, and disposal). Global consumers placed great significance on product-related information, whereas Korean consumers prioritized ethical integrity and reasonable pricing. In addition, environmental issues stemming from synthetic fibers emerged as a significant factor influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior regarding vegan fashion consumption. Further, this study confirmed the potential presence of cultural disparities influencing overall awareness, attitude, and behavior concerning the acceptance of vegan fashion, and offers insights into vegan fashion marketing strategies tailored to specific cultures, aiming to provide vegan fashion companies and brands with a deeper understanding of their consumer base.

연관규칙 분석을 통한 ESG 우려사안 키워드 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Keyword Extraction for ESG Controversies Through Association Rule Mining)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to define the anti-ESG activities of companies recognized by media by reflecting ESG recently attracted attention. This study extracts keywords for ESG controversies through association rule mining. Design/methodology/approach A research framework is designed to extract keywords for ESG controversies as follows: 1) From DeepSearch DB, we collect 23,837 articles on anti-ESG activities exposed to 130 media from 2013 to 2018 of 294 listed companies with ESG ratings 2) We set keywords related to environment, social, and governance, and delete or merge them with other keywords based on the support, confidence, and lift derived from association rule mining. 3) We illustrate the importance of keywords and the relevance between keywords through density, degree centrality, and closeness centrality on network analysis. Findings We identify a total of 26 keywords for ESG controversies. 'Gapjil' records the highest frequency, followed by 'corruption', 'bribery', and 'collusion'. Out of the 26 keywords, 16 are related to governance, 8 to social, and 2 to environment. The keywords ranked high are mostly related to the responsibility of shareholders within corporate governance. ESG controversies associated with social issues are often related to unfair trade. As a result of confidence analysis, the keywords related to social and governance are clustered and the probability of mutual occurrence between keywords is high within each group. In particular, in the case of "owner's arrest", it is caused by "bribery" and "misappropriation" with an 80% confidence level. The result of network analysis shows that 'corruption' is located in the center, which is the most likely to occur alone, and is highly related to 'breach of duty', 'embezzlement', and 'bribery'.

키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용한 창업분야 지속가능발전목표(SDGs) 연구동향 분석 (A Bibliometric Study on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Research Trends in Entrepreneurship)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)가 유엔총회에서 결의된 이후 전 세계적으로 창업분야에서 SDGs 연구가 얼마나 수행되었는지 살펴보고, 해외 및 국내 연구동향을 비교하여 국내 SDGs 이행을 위한 창업분야의 연구 방향성을 모색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 검색어를 선정한 후 Web of Science(Wos), KCI, DBpia 등 세 개의 데이터베이스를 활용하여 창업분야의 SDGs 연구물을 추출하였다. 데이터 정제를 거쳐 해외는 총 356편의 연구물을, 국내는 총 4편의 연구물을 분석에 활용하였다. 국내 연구물은 숫자가 너무 적어 해외 연구물만 빈도분석과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 연구동향을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 빈도분석에서는 창업분야 SDGs 연구가 지속가능성과 관련된 용어들을 중심으로 비즈니스 모델, 혁신, 창업교육, 전략 등과 함께 연구되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연도별 빈도분석을 통해 창업분야 SDGs 정책, SDGs 이행에 있어 여성 창업가들의 역할, 에너지 창업분야의 SDGs, 경영대학원의 SDGs 이행 방향성과 SDGs 교육, SDGs 이행과 평가를 위한 지표, 지속가능성을 위한 기술 등으로 매년 주제가 다양하게 확장되는 것으로 나타났다. 키워드 네트워크 분석에서는 연구제목과 저자 키워드, 초록을 모두 포함하여 분석한 결과, 비즈니스, 지속가능성, SDGs, 혁신, 창업가정신, 비즈니스 모델, 교육 등의 핵심 키워드를 중심으로 연구범위가 창업생태계, 변화와 전략, 윤리, 기후 등으로 확장되는 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 해외 창업분야의 SDGs 연구동향을 제시함으로써 불모지에 가까운 국내 창업분야 SDGs 연구의 발판을 마련하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

몽골에 대한 국내 뉴스 토픽 모델링: 한몽 수교 이후 양국 관계 보도 양상 변화를 중심으로 (Modeling Domestic News Topics for Mongolia: Focusing on Changes in Press on Diplomatic Relations between the two countries after the establishment of Diplomatic ties between Korea and Mongolia)

  • 본 연구는 한국과 몽골이 수교 이후부터 지금까지 외교관계 격상을 이루는 동안 국내에서는 어떤 분야에 관심을 가져왔는지 확인하고자 몽골과 관련된 국내 언론 보도를 중심으로 빅데이터 분석을 실시하였다. '몽골' 키워드로 검색된 13만여 개의 기사를 분석 대상으로 삼고, 관계 격상일을 기준으로 4개의 시기로 나누어 토픽 모델링을 실시하였다. 시기별 주요 토픽을 도출하여 살펴본 결과, 관계 격상에 따라 사라지는 이슈도 있었으나 초기에 나타났던 이슈들이 상당수 유지되면서 여러 분야의 이슈가 추가되어 나타나는 양상을 보였다. 즉, 기존의 정치, 역사 위주의 협력에서 문화, 교육, 보건, 항공, 기후 등으로 분야가 다양화되고 있었으며, 특히 민간교류 측면에서 토픽이 더욱 세분화되어 발전하는 양상을 보였다. 본 연구는 양국 간 외교 관계 연구에서 기존에 시도되지 않았던 새로운 분석 방법을 시도함으로써 막대한 양의 데이터를 바탕으로 결론의 신뢰성을 높이고 기존 연구에 새로운 시각을 제공하고 있다.

Co-word Analysis을 통한 신기술 분야 도식화 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emerging Technology Mapping Through Co-word Analysis)

  • In the highly competitive world, there has been a concomitant increase in the need for the research and planning methodology, which can perform an advanced assessment of technological opportunities and an early Perception of threats and possibilities of the emerging technology according to the nation's economic and social status. This research is aiming to provide indicators and visualization methods to measure the latest research trend and aspect underlying scientific and technological documents to researchers and policy planners using 'Co-word Analysis' Organic light emitting diodes(OLED) is an emerging technology in various fields of display and which has a highly prospective market value. In this paper, we presented an analysis on OLED. Co-word analysis was employed to reveal patterns and trends in the OLED fields by measuring the association strength of terms representatives of relevant publications or other texts produced in the OLED field. Data were collected from SCI and the critical keywords could De extracted from the author keywords. These extracted keywords were further standardized. In order to trace the dynamic changes in the OLED field, we presented a variety of technology mapping. The results showed that the OLED field has some established research theme and also rapidly transforms to embrace new themes.

Research on Entrepreneurial Leadership: Focusing on the Research of the Past 10 Year

  • Purpose: This study aims to clarify the concept of entrepreneurial leadership by reviewing the relevant existing studies, and to examine changes in entrepreneurial leadership research through review and statistical analysis on the articles published in Korean and international journals. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Among the papers published between 2010 and 2020, 8 Korean studies and 42 international studies (UK and US) that clearly identify entrepreneurial leadership as research topic were analyzed. Results: Examinations on the yearly trends, keywords, and research methods reveal that research on entrepreneurial leadership is increasing recently with the emphasis on the statistical analysis. Keyword analysis shows high frequency of team and innovation for domestic research, while overseas research focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership, and gender associated keywords. Conclusions: This study has confirmed that overseas studies employ various methodologies, focusing on statistical analysis and that the effect of entrepreneurial leadership are in progress. For domestic cases, studies on entrepreneurial leadership are limited in number. Research topics and methods are areas that need further improvements. Research on entrepreneurial leadership has recently begun, requiring diversity in the subjects and methods for future development

Brand Personality of Global Automakers through Text Mining

  • Purpose - This study aims to identify new attributes by analyzing reviews conducted by global automaker customers and to examine the influence of these attributes on satisfaction ratings in the U.S. automobile sales market. The present study used J.D. Power for customer responses, which is the largest online review site in the USA. Design/methodology - Automobile customer reviews are valid data available to analyze the brand personality of the automaker. This study collected 2,998 survey responses from automobile companies in the U.S. automobile sales market. Keyword analysis, topic modeling, and the multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Findings - Using topic modeling, the author analyzed 2,998 responses of the U.S. automobile brands. As a result, Topic 1 (Competence), Topic 5 (Sincerity), and Topic 6 (Prestige) attributes had positive effects, and Topic 2 (Sophistication) had a negative effect on overall customer responses. Topic 4 (Conspicuousness) did not have any statistical effect on this research. Topic 1, Topic 5, and Topic 6 factors also show the importance of buying factors. This present study has contributed to identifying a new attribute, personality. These findings will help global automakers better understand the impacts of Topic 1, Topic 5, and Topic 6 on purchasing a car. Originality/value - Contrary to a traditional approach to brand analysis using questionnaire survey methods, this study analyzed customer reviews using text mining. This study is timely research since a big data analysis is employed in order to identify direct responses to customers in the future.

특허와 논문정보를 활용한 OCR 기술발전 동향예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction for the OCR Technology Development Trajectory based on the Patent and Article Information)

  • As the 4th Industrial Revolution emerged as a key to improving national competitiveness, OCR technology, one of the major technologies in the 4th industry is in the spotlight. Since characters in various images contain a lot of information, OCR technology for recognizing these characters has evolved into technology used in many industries. In this paper, trends in OCR technology were identified and predicted using thesis data published in 'RISS' and patent data by International patent classification (IPC) under the theme of Optical character recognition (OCR). For patent data 20,000 patents related to OCR technology from 2002 to 2020 were used as data, and 432 papers from 2012 to 2022 were used as data. Through time-series analysis, each patent data and thesis data were investigated since when OCR technology has developed, and various keyword analysis predicted which technology will be used in the future. Finally, the direction of future OCR technology development was presented through network association analysis with patent data and thesis data.
