자산관리과정과 부부의 역할구조 (Family Asset Management and The Marital Role Strucuture)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand asset management behaviors and unearth the equity in marital relations examining empirically the tendency and characteristics of marital role-structure in the process of asset management. The dta of this study was collected from 370 housewives living in Seoul. The findings are as follows. 1) Marital role-structure was proved different according to the stage of asset management 2) Considering all stages of asset management process marital role structure are classified into 7 types. The 7 types was differently shown according to wives' age occupation of husbands income of husbands real estates wives' marital role-attitude and asset management knowledge.

세금 불확실성 하의 자산 가격 결정 (The Effect of Stochastic Taxes on Asset Prices)

  • This paper develops an equilibrium asset pricing model with taxation in the economy. The expected excess rate of return on a risky asset is shown to be an increasing function of the covariance of asset return with aggregate consumption rate changes and the covariance of asset return with the tax rates as well. Thus, the expected execss rate of return can be decomposed as the consumption risk premium and the tax premium. The capital asset pricing model derived in the absence of taxes is shown to understate the expected excess rate of return and to have a misspecification error in the economy with taxation.

  • Infrastructure asset management is a methodology for programming infrastructure capital investments and adjusting infrastructure service provision to fulfil established performance, considering the life-cycle perspective of infrastructure. In this study, the methodologies for infrastructure asset management system implemented in sewer management system, bridge management system, pavement and highway management system, and embankment dam management system are described with focus on the system in U.S. As the major methodology to support the decision-making for asset mangers to better allocate the limited funds to the area needing it the most. various demand forecasting methodologies used in wastewater, water, transportation, electricity, and construction are also introduced for their applicability towards infrastructure asset management.

FINANCIAL MODELS INDUCED FROM AUXILIARY INDICES AND TWITTER DATA

  • As we know, some indices and data are strong influence to the price movement of some assets now, but not to another assets and in future. Thus we define some asset models for several time intervals; intraday, weekly, monthly, and yearly asset models. We define these asset models by using Brownian motion with volatility and Poisson process, and several deterministic functions(index function, twitter data function and big-jump simple function etc). In our asset models, these deterministic functions are the positive or negative levels of auxiliary indices, of analyzed data, and for imminent and extreme state(for example, financial shock or the highest popularity in the market). These functions determined by indices, twitter data and shocking news are a kind of one of speciality of our asset models. For reasonableness of our asset models, we introduce several real data, figurers and tables, and simulations. Perhaps from our asset models, for short-term or long-term investment, we can classify and reference many kinds of usual auxiliary indices, information and data.

농가의 자산 및 부채선택행동에 관한 연구 - 도시가계와의 비교를 중심으로 - (Asset and Debt Choice Behavior of Rural Households - compare to Urban Households -)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify the factors affecting asset and debt choice behavior of rural households as well as to examine the differences in asset and debt choice behavior between rural and urban households. The data are taken from Korean Household Panel Study conducted in 1996 by Daewoo Economic Research Institute. Among 2,833, a final sample of 2,625 -537 rural and 2,088 urban sample- is used in this study. The results show that, the asset and debt choice behavior of rural households is totally different from that of urban households. The ratio of rural households holding all types of financial assets and sales credit is less than that of urban households while the ratio of holding real asset and loan is greater in rural than urban households. The most influential variable on the ownership of asset and debt is the age of household head. And there exist interrelationships between ownership of different assets and debts.

가계의 위험자산과 안전자산 투자분석 -금융자산을 중심으로- (The Household's investment on risky and safe financial assets)

  • While theories of portfolio selection have been developed very little is known about how individuals actually go about constructing their asset potfolios. This study investigates empirically the characteristics of household's assets and which factor associated with risky and safe asset amount. Data used in this study consisted of 2,164 households and the statistics employed to analyze the data are univariate procedure Logit analysis and OLS. The results of this study were as follows: Among 2,164 households 505 housholds(23.3%) had risky assets. Average risky asset amount is 8,351,500 won and average safe asset amount is 7,086,900 won. Region education and occupation of household head home ownership transfer and other income and total expenditure had significant effects on either and other income and total expenditure had significant effects on either household having risky asset or safe asset. Financial income transfer and other income and total expenditure had significantly p sitive relation with the risky asset amount. Whereas age and the occupation of household head the sense of economic wellbeing earned financial tranfer and other income and total expenditure had significantly positive relation with safe asset amount.

최소 자산제약 및 인플레이션을 고려한 자산 할당에 관한 연구 (Optimal Asset Allocation with Minimum Performance and Inflation Risk)

  • We investigate the dynamic asset allocation problem under inflation risk when the wealth of an investor is constrained with minimum requirements. To capture the investor's risk preference, the CRRA utility function is considered and he maximizes his expected utility at predetermined date of the refund by participation in the financial market. The financial market is supposed to consist of three kinds of financial instruments which are a risk free asset, a risky asset, and an index bond. The role of an index bond is managing inflation risk represented by price process. The optimal wealth and the optimal asset allocation are derived explicitly by using the method to get the European call option pricing formula. From the numerical results, it is confirmed that the investments on index bond is high when the investor's wealth level is low. However, as his wealth increases, the investments on index bond decreases and he invests on risky asset more. Furthermore, the minimum wealth constraint induces lower investment on risky asset but the effect of the constraints is reduced as the wealth level increases.

  • As the big data analysis technologies has been developed worldwide, the importance of asset management for electric power facilities based data analysis is increasing. It is essential to secure quality of data that will determine the performance of the RISK evaluation algorithm for asset management. To improve reliability of asset management, asset data must be preprocessed. In particular, the process of cleaning dirty data is required, and it is also urgent to develop an algorithm to reduce time and improve accuracy for data treatment. In this paper, the result of the development of an automatic cleaning algorithm specialized in overhead transmission asset data is presented. A data cleaning algorithm was developed to enable data clean by analyzing quality and overall pattern of raw data.

대체적 감가상각기법을 활용한 도로자산의 가치 평가 : 국도 1호선을 중심으로 (Evaluation of Road Asset Value using Alternative Depreciation methods : Focusing on National Highway No.1)

  • PURPOSES : This study proposes the road asset valuation approach using alternative depreciation methods. It has become necessary to have asset management system according to the adoption of accrual basis accounting for governmental financial reporting and the amendment of the road act. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the effect of depreciation methods on road asset value as a basic research for road asset management system. METHODS : The Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF) has mainly performed road asset valuation based on Write down Replacement Cost and Straight Line depreciation method. This study suggests some appropriate asset valuation methods for road assets through case analysis using three depreciation methods: Consumption-based depreciation method, Condition-based depreciation method, and Straight Line depreciation method. A road asset valuation data of national highway route 1 (year 2014) is used to analyze the effect of three depreciation methods on the road asset value. Road assets include land and structures (pavement, bridge, and tunnel). This study mainly focuses on structures such as bridges and tunnels, because according to governmental accounting standards, land and road pavement assets do not depreciate. RESULTS : The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, overall asset value of national highway route 1 was estimated at 6.97 trillion KRW when MOSF's method (straight-line depreciation method) is applied. Secondly, asset value was estimated at 4.85 trillion KRW on application of consumption-based depreciation method. Thirdly, asset value was estimated at 4.37 trillion KRW when condition-based depreciation method is applied. Therefore, either consumption-based or condition-based depreciation methods would be more appropriate than straight-line depreciation method if we can use the condition data of road assets including land that are available in real time. CONCLUSIONS : Since road assets such as pavements, bridges, and tunnels have various patterns of deterioration and condition monitoring period, it is necessary to consider a specific valuation method according to the condition of each road asset. Firstly, even though road pavements do not depreciate, asset valuation through condition-based depreciation method would be more appropriate when requirements for application of non-depreciation approach are not satisfied. Since bridge and tunnel facilities show various patterns of deterioration and condition monitoring period by type and condition level, consumption-based depreciation method based on deterioration model would be appropriate. Therefore, it is necessary to have a reasonable asset management system to apply condition-based depreciation method and a periodic condition investigation to manage road assets well.
