Diseases caused by air pollution and abnormal climate are occurring worldwide due to global warming. Accordingly, the international community has established a strategy to respond to climate change, and major countries have shifted their economic policies to eco-friendly industries. In this study, we investigate the current status of the renewable energy industry and that of responses to carbon neutrality and PM2.5 (air pollution) in the three major Northeast Asian countries of Japan, Korea, and China, covering changes in the corporate perceptions of Environment, Social, Governance and RE100. In more detail, the three major Northeast Asian countries, referred to as the climate villains in the international community, explain the importance of successful entry into the electric vehicles (EV) industry for a rapid transition to an eco-friendly industry. Moreover, we study the application of lightweight materials for vehicles to improve mileage in the EV industry and technical problems to be solved in the future.

Purpose: Mothers determines all household requirements and decides almost all their related things. The purpose of this study was to examine several independent variables on customer loyalty among mothers in The Asian Parents Indonesia community. The independent variables include advertising on Instagram, brand image, word-of-mouth, community cohesiveness, while the dependent variable is purchasing decisions. Research design, data, and methodology: This quantitative study uses a survey method for the Asian Parents Indonesia community members, listed on its website. The population of this community was recorded at 1,310, with a sample of 135 respondents. Data processing is done by using Structural Equation Model using Smart-PLS software. Results: Variables that significantly affect purchasing decisions and customer loyalty are word-of-mouth,summarized in a testimony, advertising on Instagram, and brand image. However, community cohesiveness does not affect customer loyalty to a brand. Conclusion: The results of this test propose significant implications for developing the relationship between baby toiletries producers and customers through word-of-mouth testimonials and advertisements on Instagram while community cohesiveness in maintaining customer loyalty using a brand is not influential, but interactions that occur within the community become a reference for mothers to choose a baby toiletries product.

People have their own cultural backgrounds and experiences in terms of visual perceptional thinking so that they could misunderstand the cultural symbols, trademarks, Brand Identities, and trade characters, especially, animal trademarks. Sometimes Easterners and Westerners seem to not comprehend the different meanings of the cultural symbols. The signs of twelve Chinese zodiac animals are the typical symbol of the Asian mythology. What I wanted to focus on emphasizing the different views and perspective of an animal trademark is according to the Chinese Zodiac between Eastern and Western cultures. Generally, multiple symbolisms are difficult to comprehend, because they are created by individual ideas and incorporate several mythologies and histories. How do Westerners interpret the implied meaning of Eastern animals in general? How are they going to understand the Eastern animal logos or marks accurately? How can we solve the problem to make people understand their different meanings? There were some confusing pictorial images in the area of the design field when a designer creates an animal mark for globalization and localization. Creating of hybrid symbol is the best way to break the communication barriers with people all around the world.

To meet increasing power demand, 500 kV power systems are under consideration in the regions of some Middle Asian countries. As the power system voltage becomes higher, the cost for the power system insulation increases significantly. 500 kV transmission systems will become the basis of a region's power system and they require much higher system reliability. Consequently, by the methods of limiting overvoltages effectively, a reasonable insulation design and coordination must be accomplished. In particular, the Substations must be constructed to be of outdoor type. In order to determine the various factors for the insulation design, the EMTP (Electro-magnetic transient program) is used for the magnification of transient phenomena of the 500 kV systems in the planned network. In this paper, we will explain the calculation results of lightning overvoltages by the EMTP for lightning protection design for the 500 kV substations. To obtain reliable results, the multi-story tower model and EMTP/TACS model are introduced for the simulation of dynamic arc characteristics.

The recent IMO MEPC regulation on EEDI, EEOI and increased fuel cost has worsened the financial condition of the small and medium sized passenger ferry companies, and it is situated to acquire the economic ships with a pretty high resistance performance. The purpose of this research is to develop a design method on the efficient gooseneck bulb for the middle-sized passenger ferry operated in the Far East Asian seas. The hull forms are designed by varying the gooseneck bulb parameters to find the changes on the resistance performance according to the shape of bulb. The numerical series tests are made to derive the regression equation for estimating the resistance through analyzing the data statistically. This equation is set as an objective function, and then using the optimization algorithm searches for the optimal combination of the design variables. After a hull form is designed corresponding to optimized parameters.

This paper is a study on the design of the gilt-bronze sarira caskets discovered in 1959 and 1996, from a east and a west three-story stone pagodas in Gameunsa Temple site which was built in 682. One of the most interesting discoveries is the ceiling with Bokdu(覆斗) design which can be seen in Dun-Huang grotto of China, reflected upon the ceiling structure of the cover (outer casket) and the square box (inner casket). The structure of these sarira caskets, as art crafts, directly represents architectural structure of Dun-Huang grotto that was made during the early T'ang period of China. Moreover, the sarira caskets are decorated with ornate designs and these designs also can be seen on the murals of Dun-Huang grotto. Accordingly, those sarira caskets tell us creative ability and international taste of Silla's craftsmen. By tracing the origin of structure and design pattern of the sarira caskets to Central Asian and Chinese architectures, it is able to understand international style of the sarira caskets of Gameunsa Temple site.

The swine waste industry is growing rapidly along with the world human population. The trend is toward more concentrated piggeries with numbers of herds in the thousands. Associated with these increased herds are large quantities of wastes, including organic matter, inorganic nutrients, and gaseous emissions. The trend in swine waste management is toward treatment of these wastes to minimize negative impact on the health and comfort of workers and animals and the atmosphere, water, and soil environments. Treatment of these wastes has traditionally involved land application, lagoons, oxidation ditches, and conventional batch and continuously stirred reactor designs. More sophisticated treatment systems are being implemented, involving advanced anaerobic digester designs, integrated with solids separation, aerobic polishing of digester effluents, and biological nutrient removal. This review discusses the present and future role of anaerobic processes in piggery waste treatment with emphasis on reactor design, operating and performance parameters, and effluent processing.

The negative direct-maternal genetic correlation $(r_{dm})$ for weaning weight is inflated when data are analyzed with model ignoring sire-by-year interactions (SY). An analytical study investigating the consequences of ignoring SY was undertaken. The inflation of negative correlation could be due to a functional relationship of design matrices for additive direct and maternal genetic effects to that for sire effects within which SY effects were nested. It was proven that the maternal genetic variance was inflated by the amount of reduction for sire variance; the direct genetic variance was inflated by four times the change for maternal genetic variance; and the direct-maternal genetic covariance was deflated by twice the change for maternal genetic variance. The findings were agreed to the results in previous studies.

The instability of social norms on the Internet causes the diversity of social identification. Meanwhile, the anonymity of online social identity and the chaos of the role-playing among the interacting participants cause an ambiguity of identity recognition, which intensifies anxiety about interpersonal interaction. Methods that promote face-to-face interpersonal interaction through the reconstruction of the identification to the social system and intergroup trust is worth further research. Based on a telephone survey of urban residents in thirty-six cities in China (N=1080), the study focuses on the influence of Internet use on interpersonal interaction of urban residents and the mediation effect of social identification. The results show that Internet use has a negative effect on the interpersonal interactions of urban residents, and social identification plays a mediating effect between Internet use and interpersonal interaction. Implications of the results are discussed.

Aims: The purpose of this study was to investigate complementary and alternative medicine use among breast cancer survivors in Taiwan. Materials and Methods: This study employed a descriptive research design approach to detail the CAM use among the target population. Convenience sampling was used along with a structured questionnaire. Results: A total of 230 breast cancer survivors completed the use CAM scale. Prayer, reading books, taking antioxidants, eating various grains, and maintaining a vegetarian diet proved to be the five most frequently used CAM practices among patients in our study. More than 50.0% of the participants reported praying occasionally. More than 40.0% of participants read books occasionally, and 38.7% stated that they occasionally take antioxidants. Conclusions: These results provide more insight into CAM use for nurses who care for breast cancer patients.
