The success of Wikipedia is due to the large number of volunteers collaborating to provide content to Wikipedia articles. In this paper, we study the effect of network position on the promotion of an article to a featured article. We focus on the edits of featured Wikipedia articles to study the effects of the centrality of editors and centrality of articles on the promotion of featured articles. Considering the editing precedence among editors within an article, editor collaboration networks for a single article are generated using the total English-written featured articles on Wikipedia. In addition, based on the affiliation network of editors and articles, an article-to-article network and an editor-to-editor collaboration network are constructed. Based on the investigation of the networks, we find that article centrality in an article-to-article network has a negative effect on the promotion of an article, and editor centrality in an article-to-article networks has a positive effect on promotion. In addition, editor centrality in an editor-to-editor network has a negative effect on promotion. Some theoretical and managerial implications are provided in view of these results.

Objectives: FCTC is the first international convention in public health field. Global progress report is about the implementations of the FCTC that are conducted with comparison and analysis for recent trend of tobacco control policies and convention performances on the global level. Methods: By conducting literature review related to tobacco control, expecially through reviewing Implementation of the WHO FCTC GPR(2014), this report compared and analyzed Korea's status of tobacco control based on tobacco control policy in every member state. Results: As a result of the comparison of FCTC to Korea's tobacco control policy, for the first, the most outstanding article that has been peformed continuously is Article 8, 12, 14. Secondly, the policy that has been partially renovated and reinforced is Article 6, 9, 10, 11, and for the last, the policy that has no progress and needs improvement is Article 13. Conclusions: For improvement in Korea's tobacco control policy in the future, first, betterment in policies on categories about advertisements, promotions, sponsorships on tobacco products that passed FCTC commitment period is required along with the modifications of FCTC related laws and reinforcement of the policies, and development of national core competence for an effective implementation of the convention.

The Database Industry Promotion Act was proposed at the National Assembly plenary session on July 26, 2012 and since then it has been in the process of enactment in consultation with all the governmental departments concerned. The recent trend of economic globalization and smart device innovation suggests a new opportunity and challenges for all industries. The database industry is also facing a new phase in an era of smart innovation. Korea is in a moment of opportunity to take an innovative approach to promoting the database industry. Korea should set up a national policy to promote the database industry for citizens, government, and research institutions, as well as enterprises. Above all, the Database Industry Promotion Act could play a great role in promoting the social infrastructure to enhance the capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises. This article discusses the background of the development of the Database Industry Promotion Act and its legislative processes in order to clarify its legal characteristics, including the meaning of the act. In addition, this article explains individual items related to the overall structure of the Database Industry Promotion Act. Finally, this article reviews the economic effects of the database industry for now and the future.

It is stipulated in Article 22, Paragraph 3 of Tourism Promotion Law that those who do not work for tourism can not use trade name including "Kwan Kwang" or terms similar with it, and even signs with Kwan Kwang or terms similar with it at a business establishment. The stipulation is, however, away from a reality. It only has a sort of apparent meaning even though it is the positive law. However, times are changed and are changing. A rule should reflect the stipulation suitable for contemporary culture. A term, restructuring, exists in the law related to tourism which is connected with tourist industry. In other words, there are many assumed stipulations away from the practical aspect, because of wrong systems. However, what does the restructuring mean in the law related to tourism\ulcorner The thing is to make new system or base appropriate to the present situation, and to study improvement ordinances in Article 12 of Tourism Promotion Law and stipulations for those. In order to do these, the contents of Tourism Promotion Law from Article 1 to 60 and stipulations of law related to tourism law should be studied. In doing so, limited paper could not cover all.cover all.

The article concerns the relationship between the animation festival and the regional cultural industries. In particular, the article studies the WAF(Web Animation Festival) case, in which has hold since 2004 by the Gwangju Information & Culture industry Promotion Agency in the city of Gwangju. The WAF case will be examined in terms of the promotion of the selected web cartoons and animations in the festival competition. As a result, the competion festival has been managed in connection with the support programs for the promotion of the regional cultural industries. In the process, the Gwangju Information & Culture industry Promotion Agency has sought to connect the selected arts works with the CEOs in the field of content business and media business. The article concludes the WAF need to be reestablished in the context of the development of the Gwangu cultural industries cluster and the reinforcement of the international exchange and networking through the grand project of Asian Cultural Capital Gwangu.

Nowadays a movement of public health awareness has just begun through the recent health promotion law in Korea. Implementation of the health promotion requires a pluralistic process involving public and private participants from many sectors and backgrounds. The most important thing in promoting health is the appropriate role of government in fostering personal behavior change. ‘Health promotion’ has been a highly fashionable term; however it has been used in many different ways unfortunately, often without any clarification of meaning. It is because the meaning of health promotion is diverse and broad. Therefore this article focuses on the categorization of the diverse meaning of health promotion. Additionally. it puts stress on the flexibility of health promotion.

This article reviewed the historic and epidemiologic reasons for the emergence of health promotion with a special focus on lifestyle. Health effects of tobacco, alcohol, physical exercise, and nutrition were briefly presented by reviewing recent researches. Social environments supposed to limit the application of health promotion strategies are also mentioned.

The increase of health care expenditure for Thai worker calls for the need of workplace health promotion. The purpose of this article is to describe the status of workplace health promotion in Thailand, emphasizing the roles of occupational health nurse. Secondary data analysis and extensive literature reviews were conducted. Results showed that Thailand is committed with implementing health promotion concepts in various settings including workplace. Several public organizations have developed national workplace health projects with different strategies and approaches. Role of occupational health nurses in workplace health promotion has gradually expanded. The new law specifying the functions of occupational health nurse in providing comprehensive health services is in the process. Occupational health nursing standard as related to workplace health promotion has been developed. A research based case study on workplace health promotion program is also presented to elaborate the proactive roles of occupational health nurse. Findings of this study suggest the transitional roles of Thai occupational health nurses in which training and technical supports from related organizations are in need.

Since May 23, 2014, the Construction Technology Promotion Act has been effect through the entire reform of the Act. Despite the extensive reform, the previous penalty articles remain intact. According to the article 85 (1), especially, if a service provider or an engineer has caused death or injury by violating the duty of good faith and by damaging the principal parts of facilities, the person should be sentenced for lifetime imprisonment or imprisonment for no less than three years. The article has been controversial in its clarity and adequacy. This study is to verify the characteristics and the scope of the article and to suggest the theoretical backgrounds by analyzing the article based on the principle of legality, which enables to set forth the possibility to improve the article. To achieve the goal, the provision has been analyzed in accordance with the basic laws in Korea including the constitutional law and the criminal law, the related cases have been collected, and the comparison of the relevant acts has been executed. The detailed discussion about the articles in laws and acts on construction and the long-term and integrated study are expected to vitalize through this research.

Objectives: The objective of this review article was to verify the accreditation plan of the Korean council on school of public health(KCSPH). Methods: Two data were used in order to review the topic of this article. The first one was a catalog compiled by journal articles published in Korea. Second data was accquired from websites created by 24 member universities of KCSPH. Results: The issue of accreditation has been discussed officially for decades. The confusion in the essence of public health seems to be intensified by the influence of Japanese health education system. Accordingly current SPHs in Korea are relatively multifarious and seem to suffer from an identity problem. Conclusions: The accreditation plan issued by KCSPH is valid and public health problem in Korea.
