물류계획을 위한 지역유형 추정 (Estimation of Area Type for Logistics Planning)

  • 지역유형(area type)은 물류수요의 잠재력(potential)과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 물류계획분야에서 지역유형 변수는 특히 발생모형(generation model)에서 물류유입(freight attraction)을 설명하는 모형변수로, 또한 수송수단선택모형(mode choice model)의 모형변수로 포함되는 것이 최근 선진국의 물류계획 실무분야에서 일반적인 추세이다. 하지만 지역유형은 그 동안 개념적으로 명확히 정의되지 못하였으며, 분석모형의 맥락에서 지역유형의 계량적 추정을 다룬 선행연구는 거의 없었다고 할 수 있다. 이런 이유 때문에 중/장기 물류수요예측 및 물류계획에 있어서 인구와 고용의 변화가 지역유형을 어떻게 변화시킬지에 관한 장기적인 예측을 하는 것이 어려웠다. 따라서 본 연구는 물류시설 SOC사업의 성공적 추진을 위하여 물류수요예측의 신뢰수준을 제고하는 데 있어 꼭 필요하고 시급한 연구로서 지역유형(area type)을 고려한 물류수요의 잠재력(potential)분석 방법을 제시하였다.

A Simple Mlodel for Dispersion in the Stable Boundary Layer

  • Handling the emergency problems such as Chemobyl accident require real time prediction of pollutants dispersion. One-point real time sounding at pollutant source and simple model including turbulent-radiation process are very important to predict dispersion at real time. The stability categories obtained by one-dimensional numerical model (including PBL dynamics and radiative process) are good agreement with observational data (Golder, 1972). Therefore, the meteorological parameters (thermal, moisture and momentum fluxes; sensible and latent heat; Monin-Obukhov length and bulk Richardson number; vertical diffusion coefficient and TKE; mixing height) calculated by this model will be useful to understand the structure of stable boundary layer and to handling the emergency problems such as dangerous gasses accident. Especially, this simple model has strong merit for practical dispersion models which require turbulence process but does not takes long time to real predictions. According to the results of this model, the urban area has stronger vertical dispersion and weaker horizontal dispersion than rural area during daytime in summer season. The maximum stability class of urban area and rural area are "A" and "B" at 14 LST, respectively. After 20 LST, both urban and rural area have weak vertical dispersion, but they have strong horizontal dispersion. Generally, the urban area have larger radius of horizontal dispersion than rural area. Considering the resolution and time consuming problems of three dimensional grid model, one-dimensional model with one-point real sounding have strong merit for practical dispersion model.al dispersion model.

Small Area Estimation via Nonparametric Mixed Effects Model

  • Small area estimation is a statistical inference method to overcome the large variance due to the small sample size allocated in a small area. Recently some nonparametric estimators have been applied to small area estimation. In this study, we suggest a nonparametric mixed effect small area estimator using kernel smoothing and compare the small area estimators using labor statistics.

PEM 연료전지용 Bipolar Plate의 변화단면 유로에 대한 CFD 해석 (CFD Analysis on a Flow Channel of a Bipolar Plate with Varying Cross-sectional Area in a PEM Fuel Cell)

  • A flow channel model of a bipolar plate with varying cross-sectional area was newly designed for improving performance and efficiency of a PEM fuel cell stack. As a result, the varying cross-sectional area model showed poor uniformity in velocity distribution, however, maximum velocity in the flow path is about 30% faster than that of the uniform cross-sectional area model. The proposed varying cross-sectional area model is expected to diffuse operating fluids more easily into diffusion layer because it has relatively higher values in pressure distribution compared with other flow channel models. It is expected that the implementation of the varying cross-sectional area model can reduce not only the mass transport loss but also the activation loss in a PEM fuel cell, and open circuit voltage of a fuel cell can thus be increased slightly.

도시녹지의 시각적 접근성 측정모델에 관한 연구 (A study on the model of measuring visual accessibility to urban green spaces)

  • The aspect of visual accessibility to urban green spaces is an important factor because it contributes making pleasant environment by increasing the visual experience of nature in urban environment. But we have tried neither to consider nor to measure it. Since he concept of visual accessibility has not formally defined yet, it was operationally defined in this study. And then the model of measuring visual accessibility was suggested and verified through the case study on neighborhood parks in Seoul. The findings are as follows : 1) The concept of visual accessibility is defined as opportunity and potentiality to observe green spaces. 2) The model of measuring visual accessibility deals with not only adjacent area but also viewshed area. In adjacent area, considering factors are the area of road adjacent to green spaces and the area of exposed green spaces. In viewshed area, considering factors are the area of road located in viewshed area, the area of exposed green spaces, and the weight according to observing distance. 3) The final model of measuring visual accessibility suggested in this study is as follows.

도심지 무선통신의 전파예측모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Propagation Prediction Model of Wireless Communication in an Urban Area)

  • 도심지 무선통신에서 전파전파 특성(Wave Propagation Characteristics)을 정확하게 예측하는 것은 통신 서비스 영역 결정이나 최적의 기지국 선정 및 셀 설계 등을 위해 매우 중요하다. 도심지역에서 건물 차폐영역 특성을 이용한 전파예측 모델(Propagation Prediction Model)로 CCIR모델이 있다. 이 모델은 기지국과 이동국간의 차폐 영향을 직선평면형태에서의 건물 차폐율로 나타내고 있다. 그러나 건물이 밀집되어 있는 지역이나 가시선상에 구릉이나 산이 있는 지형여건을 고려하지 않았기 때문에 예측 오차가 많이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위한 전파예측모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 모델에서는 가시선상에서 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 거물차폐에 대한 블록수와 지형여건을 고려한 건물의 차폐높이에 대한 관계식을 통계 패키지 SAS(Statistical Analysis System)로 구하였다. 그리고 고밀도, 중밀도, 저밀도 지역에서 서비스 중인 무선통신 기지국의 전계레벨 수신세기를 실측한 후, 제안한 모델과 CCIR모델의 예측 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 실측치와 비교한 결과, CCIR모델보다 제안한 모델이 고밀도 지역에서 9.71dB, 중밀도 지역\ulcorner서 9.66dB, 저밀도 지역에서 4.02dB 개선되었다.

MESOPUFF II모델을 이용한 서울시 $SO_2$배출량이 주변지역 대기질에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effects of Emission from Seoul Metropolitan Area on Air Quality of Surrounding Area Using MESOPUFF II Model)

  • To study the influences of the emission sources during lune 13∼15 1997 in Seoul, MESOPVFF II model has been used. The MESOPVFF II model includes terrain effects, chemical transformation and removal processes. Data of 20 surface meteorological stations and the upper air station on mid-west area in Korea were used as a DWM (Diagnostic Wind Model) input data. This model is likely to be applicable because the predicted SO2 concentration was well matched with measured 502 concentration in Seoul and Kyonggido. In generally air pollutants in Seoul have major influence on the other cities but the result of modeling appeared also air pollutants of the other cities influence on Seoul. Finally, in the case of calculating the air quality by diffusion model, the influences of air pollutants emitted in metropolitan area as well as the emission rate in modeling area should be considered.

모세관 모델을 이용한 불포화토양의 물-가스 접촉면적 및 가스공극 크기분포의 계산 및 검증 (Capillary Bundle Model for the Estimation of Air-water Interfacial Area and the Gas-filled Pore Size Distribution in Unsaturated Soil)

  • Air-water interfacial area is of great importance for the analysis of contaminant mass transfer processes occurring in the soil systems. Capillary bundle model has been proposed to estimate the specific air-water interfacial areas in unsaturated soils. In this study, the measured air-water interfacial areas of a soil (loam) using the gaseous interfacial tracer technique were compared to those from capillary bundle model. The measured values converged to the specific solid surface area (7.6×104 ㎠/㎤) of the soil. However, the simulated air-water interfacial areas based on the capillary bundle model deviated significantly from those measured. The simulated values were substantially over-estimated at low end of the water content range, whereas the model under-estimated the air-water interfacial area for the most of the water content range. This under-estimation is considered to be caused by the nature of the capillary bundle model that replaces the soil pores with a bundle of glass capillaries and thus no surface roughness at the inner surface of the capillaries is taken into account for the estimation of the air-water interfacial area with the capillary bundle model. Subsequently, appropriate correction is necessary for the capillary bundle model to estimate the air-water interfacial area in soils. Since the soil-moisture release curve data is the basis of the capillary bundle model, the model can be of use due to its simplicity, while the gaseous tracer technique requires complicated experimental equipment followed by moment analysis of the breakthrough curves. The size distribution profile of the pores filled with gas estimated by the water retention curve was found to be similar to that of particle size at different size range. The shifted distribution of gas-filled pores toward smaller size side compared to the particle size distribution was also found.

WINFLOW 모델을 이용한 지하수 유동해석 (Groundwater Movement Analysis Using the WINFLOW Model)

  • This study examines groundwater movement system analysis and movement forecast algorithm using finite element method. The target is Cheongha-myeon area, Bukgu, Pohang-city which has many difficulties in water supply during drought period. From the comparison of the differences between obtained values by WINFlOW model and observed values, it is thought that groundwater head distribution under steady flow is reflected well at the level of reliability Groundwater movement of study area shows stable pattern from western watershed to eastern coastal area while flow path is dense and steep in the center of the coastal area. The results of particle tracing for each well show a comparatively straight line from the western boundary side to the observation position at the upper area of the well, and are analyzed as it diffuses according to getting closer to the coast at the lower area of the well. The result of effect circle examination attendant on pumping amount in study area shows variation tendency that groundwater head decreases at the side and the lower area more than at the upper area of the well when groundwater flows from west to east(coast). As mentioned above, satisfactory results of groundwater movement analysis using WINFlOW model, two dimensional groundwater movement analysis model, are obtained through the great decrease of physical uncertainty of groundwater movement system.

GIUH적용을 위한 DEM 격자크기 및 Threshold Area의 민감도분석 (Sensitivity Analysis of GIUH Model Applied to DEM Resolutions and Threshold Areas)

  • 일반적으로 수문모형은 직접 또는 간접적으로 정의되는 지형매개변수에 대한 지형학적 해석을 필요로 한다. GIS는 지형의 수치자료로부터 이러한 매개변수를 추출하여 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 수치지형도상의 실제 하천망 및 threshold area를 추출하고, 정방행렬의 고도수치를 표현하는 수치고도모형(Digital Elevation Model :DEM)로부터 하천망을 추출시, 실제 지형도상에서 나타나는 threshold area의 통계적 변화에 따른 변화를 검토하였다. 또한 실제 수치지형도에서 추출한 유역의 지형매개변수와 DEM으로부터 추출한 지형매개변수를 지형학적 순간단위도(Geomorphological Instantaneous Unit Hydrgraph : GIUH)모형의 입력자료로 활용될 때, DEM의 격자 크기와 하천망 추출에 필요한 threshold area의 변화에 대한 유역 특성 고유치의 민감도를 분석한 것이다. 본 연구 결과 DEM의 격자크기와 threshold area의 변화에 따라 GIUH 모형은 민감하게 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 보청천 산성교 적용 대상지역의 경우 DEM격자크기는 25m∼50m의 크기가 적정하고, 하천망을 추출할 때 사용되는 threshold area는 초과확률 30%∼5o%크기가 적정함을 보여줬다.
