As the existing school building power consumption is expressed by total power consumption, in the view of energy saving is disadvantage. The the power consumption of school building is divided as cooling, heating, lighting and others. The cooling power consumption, heating power consumption, lighting power consumption can be calculated using real total power consumption that gained from Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO). The power consumption for cooling and heating can be calculated using heat transmittance, wall area and floor area, and for lighting is calculated by artificial lighting calculation. but this calculation methods is difficult for laymen. This study was carried out in order to establish the regression equation for cooling power consumption, heating power consumption, lighting power consumption and other power consumption in school building. In order to verify the validity of the regression equation, it is compared regression equation results and calculation results based on real power consumption. As the results, difference between regression result and calculation results for cooling and heating power consumption showed 0.6% and 3.6%.
The calculation of earthwork plays a major role in plan or design of many civil engineering projects and thus it has become very important to advanced the accuracy of earthwork calculation. The purpose of this paper is to calculate the excavation volume of terrain using a proposal area formular in eathwork volume determination for reclamation of the harbor. A proposal area formular by first and third equation is compared with end area, middle area, prismoidal formula by trapezoidal, simpson formular to excavation volume for an experimental terrian $1\sim12$. As a result of this study, algorithm of a proposal area formula by prismoidal formula should provide a better accuracy than end area, middle area, prismoidal formula by trapezoidal formular, simpson formular.
The purpose of this research is a verification of the current equation for calculating equipment number and a suggesting a method for development of a rational new equation. The equation for calculating equipment number consists of total surface area of a ship that fluid resistance act on. Equipment number determines the specification of anchoring and mooring equipment such as anchor weight, anchor chains length and diameter, the number, length and breaking load of tow lines and mooring lines. The equation for equipment number calculation is basically derived considering x, y components of a wind and current force acting on a ship. But this equation is only based on a tanker, which was main type of ships when the equation was derived. Therefore, verification of the equation is required for other types of ships, such as container carrier, LNG carrier, etc. Therefore, in this research, we find out the equation for equipment number calculation should be revised for other types of ships especially the container carrier, by comparing wind and current force acting on a ship to holding force of an anchor and anchor chains, which are selected based on the equipment number.
Samchunpo(Sin Hyang) Harbor is located in the bay of Sa Chun, the central south coast of Korean peninsula. The harbor and coastal boundaries have been protecting by natural coastal islands and shoals. Currently, The Sin Hyang harbor needs maintenance and renovation of the sheltered structures against the weather deterioration and typhoon damages. Consequently to support this, the calculation of accurate design wave through the typhoon wave attack is necessary. In this study, calculation of incident wave condition is simulated using steady state spectrum energy wave model(wide area wave model) from 50 years return wave condition. And this simulation results in wide offshore area were used for the input of the extended mild slope wave model at the narrow coastal area. Finally, the calculation of design wave at Sin Hyang harbor entrance was induced by Boussinesq wave model(detail area wave model) simulation. The numerical model system was able to simulate wave transformations from generation scale to shoreline or harbor impact. We hope these results will be helpful to the engineers doing placement, design, orientation, and evaluation of a wide range of potential solutions in this area.

Third, this study calculated rural landscape assessment index using additive integration index calculation model, and evaluated subjective landscape of rural region in accordance with space types and landscape fields through mapping methodology. The results of this study can be described as follows: 1) satisfaction level for landscape in accordance with village (urban area and residential area) was very high; 2) satisfaction level was very high in both Ye-Jeon reservoir and Hakwon farm, representative landscape resources of the study area.
Pollutant load using unit load method is calculated by simply equation, especially, very useful in the area that didn't exist about water quality data. However, it takes long time to calculate pollutant load with area in which there is various pollutants and if the boundary of a basin altered, the work of calculation about pollutant load must be begun from the first again. Therefore, a Total Daily Load Program(TDLP) was developed to calculate pollutant load automatically in rural area. The TDLP includes a geographic information system(GIS), relational database system(RDBS), User Interface. This Program can provide user with creating a boundary of the basin that user is concerned with to satisfy the water quality regulations and calculating daily load for various pollutants. The effort was conducted to apply the developed TDLP to calculating pollutant load in rural basin called Bok-ha river.
Heatwaves are one of the most common phenomena originating from changes in the urban thermal environment. They are caused mainly by the evapotranspiration decrease of surface impermeable areas from increases in temperature and reflected heat, leading to a dry urban environment that can deteriorate aspects of everyday life. This study aimed to calculate daily maximum ground surface temperature affecting heatwaves, to quantify the effects of urban thermal environment control through water cycle restoration while validating its feasibility. The maximum surface temperature regression equation according to the impermeable area ratios of urban land cover types was derived. The estimated values from daily maximum ground surface temperature regression equation were compared with actual measured values to validate the calculation method's feasibility. The land cover classification and derivation of specific parameters were conducted by classifying land cover into buildings, roads, rivers, and lands. Detailed parameters were classified by the river area ratio, land impermeable area ratio, and green area ratio of each land-cover type, with the exception of the rivers, to derive the maximum surface temperature regression equation of each land cover type. The regression equation feasibility assessment showed that the estimated maximum surface temperature values were within the level of significance. The maximum surface temperature decreased by 0.0450℃ when the green area ratio increased by 1% and increased by 0.0321℃ when the impermeable area ratio increased by 1%. It was determined that the surface reduction effect through increases in the green area ratio was 29% higher than the increasing effect of surface temperature due to the impermeable land ratio.
The purpose of this study is to propose calculation and application method of a common factor from different noise source unit such as $L_{eq}$ and WECPNL, A calculation was conducted by method that propose TNO-PG. Also, An applied example is a noise environmental standard of Korea and Japan. After %HA of two country are calculated, noise standards of two countries were compared by using %HA. The result by a equation of %HA is to convert a noise level($L_{dn}$) into a %HA. To calculate a %HA, First $L_{eq}$ is converted into $L_{dn}$. Then, $L_{dn}$, has inputted into and %HA has deduced from a %HA equation of TNO-PG. If the same area is applied the same %HA value according to area categories, it can be applied the same %HA to different noise sources. As a results. a noise levels have computed different values because responses of human change in accordance with a noise sources. This results can be applied to the noise environmental assessment for a domestic railway and aircraft noise.
With the development of industry, the qualitical advancement of power is needed. Since it is placed in the end step of power system, the fault at the distribution system causes some users blackout directly. So if the fault occurs, quick restoration is very important subject and, for the reason, induction of the distribution automation system is now being progressed briskly. For the quick restoration of the faulted distribution system, the load shedding of the blackout-area must be followed, and the other problems like the shedded load, faulted voltage and the rest may cause other accident. Accordingly load shedding must be based on the precise calculation technique during the distribution system load flow(dist flow) calculation. In these days because of its superior convergence characteristic the Newton-Raphson method is most widely used. The number of buses in the distribution system amounts to thousands, and if the fault occurs at the distribution system, the speed for the dist flow calculation is to be improved to apply to the On-Line system. However, Newton-Raphson method takes much time relatively because it must calculate the Jacobian matrix and inverse matrix at every iteration, and in the case of huge load, the equation is hard to converge. In this thesis. matrix equation is used to make algebraical expression and then to solve load flow equation and to modify above defects. Then the complex matrix is divided into real part and imaginary part to keep sparcity. As a result time needed for calculation diminished. Application of mentioned algorithm to 302 bus, 700 bus, 1004 bus system led to almost identical result got by Newton-Raphson method and showed constant convergence characteristic. The effect of time reduction showed 88.2%, 86.4%, 85.1% at each case of 302 bus, 700 bus system 86.4%, and 1004 bus system.
The purpose of this is providing a simple, relatively errorless body surface area calculation. Subjects were 10 married women and 10 singles women whose age was 20 to 29 years old. The Gypsum method has applied for the sampling of body surface. The Weight method has been used to measure body surface by means of transferring gypsum shape on uniform plane polypropylene films. In this study, compare analyzed errors between the traditional formulas for measuring body surface area and measuring data in this experiment. More than all, it has been to induce a regression equation for measuring body surface area, which is so simple to calculate with less errors, with variable factors as weight and height. The results of this experiment as follows : 1. In the traditional formulas, weight formula was shown high average error : Niya\`s height formula. which was modified K value as 0.62 in the height formula (S = KH) is shown lower average error than Lassabliere\`s Height formula. 2. In the weight-height formula (S=K √WH), it was shown high average error according to the increasing of K value. Kawanami\`s formula, which 5.378 as K value, was shown low average error both the singles and the married women. 3. Dubois weight-heingt formula (S=W/sup a/·H/sub b/·K) was shown low average error than the weight, height, weight-height (S=K√WH) formula. 4. The regression equations with variable factors as weight and height are 156.74W + 86.05H - 660.25 (Single women) and 136.02W + 90.57H - 6241.32 (Married women) the average error and absolute average error to the singles are 0.09%, 0.94% and resoectively -0.13%, 1.16% for the married women.
