In the latter half of the 1980's, Systematical Western Archival Science theory was introduced in Japan especially, provenance principle which is fundamental theory in arrangement, original order principle and understanding in level of archives groups. However, they just confirmed public records arrangement theory having done in each Prefectural Archives(文書館) in Japan since 1960's and embodied it. Among them, National Archives of Japan(國立公文書館) just followed arrangement method each ministry and office did. And Saitama Prefectural Archives(琦玉縣立文書館) grasped changes of the name of department, class, standard by class and organization and its affairs before public records arrangement. On the one hand, Japan Center for Asian Historical Records(JACAR: アジア歷史資料セン夕-) is attending on public records by web which National Archives of Japan. The Diplomatic Record Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(外務省外交史料館). The National Institute for Defense Studies(NIDS : 防衛廳防衛硏究所) have. JACAR arranged the public records based on provenance principle following arrangement system they have.

Archives Innovations have been generalized by the legislative system since 1999 in Korea. Although the legislative system is necessary to develop national archives system, it seems to be true in most situations or for most people. This study argued that it may not be completely true in all cases. And this study aimed discourse for more discussions about archives.

This article aims to introduce and describe the process that Korea National Land Corporation has undergone to establish LX larchiveum in Korea, which is expected to open in January 2020. The process and discussion that Korea National Land Corporation has been through to establish LX larchiveum are described. The case would be helpful and encourage more archivists to make new and diverse attempts of building archives that are rarely explored by government or public institutions.

The goal of this study is to suggest a scheme to vitalize the National Archives of Korea's education programs for children. For this we researched the cases in Korea and abroad operating education programs for children actively. Through analysis we suggested a course of improvement to vitalize the National Archives of Korea's education programs, policy, organization, staff for children. For an area of policy we suggested a stipulation of education program and an exclusive organization and staff placement for an area of organization and staff, an education program which is different from other cultural organization for a program.

To develope a scheme of an efficient archival arrangement and management, this study, through the methodology in France which named 'archives' for the first time and produce the best qualified archivistes every year from ENC(Ecole Nationales des Charles) , has started the problem of the adjustment of terminology which must be basically established, the foundation and history of archives, and their kinds and characteristics in the view of periods, contents and materials. After, for the core of an efficient archival arrangement and management, the study goes on theoretical and practical sides : educational courses for archival studies in part, appraisal, selection and collection, arrangement, communication and valorization of archives in other part.

A church's archives aims to preserve the history of the church and inherit the spiritual legacy of Christianity. It also plays critical roles in strengthening the identities of the church members. As such, this study focuses the role of a church archive and, in particular, its acquisition policies. An acquisition policy is the foundation of archival records management, which is achieved by balancing the scope of the collection and collecting various record types. For this, the authors analyzed the acquisition process of Young-nak Church's archives and also conducted in-depth interviews with the archivists.

The study aims at reviewing research trends of records classification and archival arrangement, analysing issues, and suggesting futures tasks in related research area. It starts with defining research categories of records and archives classification through analysing the term of 'classification' being found in the Public Records Management Act. Thirty five research papers which are covering classification of records and archives and published in 1980's are selected for contents analysis. Considering the analysis of domestic and foreign research, and the practical needs, it makes clear the issues and tasks for future research. The study concludes with emphasizing more empirical research for guiding records and archives management and reformulating archival theories in electronic environments.

This research is aimed at proposing the policies for enhancing information services at the GARS. To this end, a survey was carried out over the user group, the staff group, and the external expert group. And then the 3-Partner Approach Model was proposed that accommodates the archivist-centered partnership with users and external experts. Based on this model. the three-aspect policies to upgrade information services were proposed.

Since it was founded in Korea in 1784, Korean Catholic Church has grown rapidly even under persecution. And now, its various activities have considerable influence on Korean society. However, the Korean Catholic Church record management not much is being done in excess of general record management for administrative purposes. Therefore, this study attempted to construct records management system that could systematically manage records of the Korean Catholic Church with Diocese Archives as the central figure. In order to do this, first the special characteristics of the Catholic Church records were analyzed, and the actual status of records management of Catholic Church was investigated. Next, applied the theory of records management to the Catholic Church system.
