The purpose of this study is to improve productivity of architectural space planning(A.S.P,) by computer system and to optimize ASP. A searching algorithm is the best way to slave optimized A.S.P. Because architectural design is too many various site situations and client's demands to specify the general solving methods. This study is on the architectural planning and factors for secondary schools. The methods in the approach to the results were settled. A sample of factors that affect architectural scale design were drawn from architectural design direction for a secondary school architectural scale estimation direction. These factors arc broken into primary elements and situational elements. Primary elements include students, teachers, and time. Situational elements include public use percentage, classroom percentage, unit area, coefficient of utilization, etc. The 7 architectural planning criteria to cover changes of various architectural scale design elements are the following; 1) consideration of students selection percentage, 2) consideration of the number of teachers, 3) a variety of possible classrooms, 4) organic operation, 5) efficient time management, 6) consideration of different teaching method depending on subjects, 7) coefficient of utilization with flexibility.
Urban architecture density is getting higher, and this trend is expected to continue in the future. Therefore, skyscrapers are being brought into relief as future alternative architecture beyond symbolic meaning in the aspect of demand and supply of urban space. However, skyscrapers which were newly built have many problems such as consumption of enormous amounts of energy, destruction of natural environment, and traffic jam. For this reason, environment-friendly skyscrapers based on the concept such as Green Building and Green Skyscraper started to be built around the world. However, plans or evaluation standards, which take account of the environment-friendly aspect of skyscrapers, leave much to be desired. And especially it is hard to find environment-friendly skyscrapers. Therefore, this study aims to establish the concept of environment-friendly skyscrapers that has not properly been defined, and to find realistic planning methods and practical alternatives through the analysis of the works that have brilliant ideas about environment-friendly architectural method. From the perspective of architectural planning, we did case analysis focused on site planning, form planning, elevation and floor planning, and tried to give useful ideas for high-rise architectural planning in Korea by finding practical solution focused on the active use of natural energy, saving resources, the reduction of wastes, natural architectural environment design and natural friendly system from the view of environment-friendly technological analysis.
Planning information generated during initial architectural design phases significantly influences subsequent phases, and is implemented into architectural design models during the design process. However, failures to manage and use planning information in Korean design offices remain common. Current design tools that incorporate planning information also do not address the issue of interoperability during the life cycles of buildings. To address these problems, the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) extension model was developed to accommodate the need to manage and use planning information for cooperation between design offices carrying out multidisciplinary tasks. This paper introduces a purpose-built software tool that implements the IFC model and demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed method with the software tool.
Purpose: This study identified the planning trends for formal and informal learning spaces in the college of medicine through literature reviews. And then, by the analysis of the actual condition of existing domestic facilities, It was organized the architectural planning baseline data and future directions for the formal and informal learning spaces in the college of medicine. Methods: This study was conducted using literature reviews on the existing medical education method and learning space planning. Subsequently on-site surveys and questionnaires were conducted at existing facilities. Results: In the past, learning space of the college of medicine was considered only a formal learning space such lecture rooms, labs. But lately it has been turned into a total learning concept that embraces shared learning spaces such as libraries, student spaces, amenities and common spaces such as lobbies and hallways. ① Formal learning spaces are composed of teaching and practice areas. Since It is the basic functions that comprise the college of medicine, this paper conducted a functional analysis based on the current operating system of the College of Medicine and provided baseline data on architectural planning such as function, layout, zoning, and detailed planning. ② The informal learning sharing space was divided into a library area and a student well-being and convenience area to analyze the real conditions of domestic medical college. In addition, by comparing the trends and differences in foreign medical colleges identified by literature analysis, this paper summarizes the need to revitalize informal learning spaces and their integration into formal learning spaces, architectural planning considerations, etc. Implications: the evolution of the learning method and the flexibility of the learning space bring about changes in the learning space.
This study is based on the Ecological Design Theories related with the Village and Architectural planning. The purpose of this study is to propose the Rural Village Design Method in consideration of Ecological Environment. To achieve this purpose, Normative Theory Study which means Logical Analysis of Ecological Theories in the new field of Ecological Village and Architecture Design, is done in accordance with the object of this study. This results derived of this study are as follows: 1. Six(6)-Environmentally Friendly Rural Village Planning Elements related with the purpose of this study, are clarified these are Land-use planning, Transfortation planning, Plants and Water, Living-thing Ecological System planning, Energy and resource planning, Village Culture and amenity planning, and Architectural Material planning. 2. Rural Village Design Method in consideration of Ecological Environment is porposed by means of the Normative theroy study analysis and contents analysis related with Ecological Village and Architecture planning which contain Ecological Planning Elements, and case study.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to suggest the improvement of the architectural planning of public hospitals by analyzing the contents of the architectural planning and the trend of the recent ward planning. Methods: The study method was the drawing analysis of the wards in the public hospitals where facilities were improved including the ward-related literature survey. The scope of the study was the general wards. Results: As a result of the study, the area composition of the ward area, the number of beds per nursing unit, the floorplan types, and the unit space planning which is included the room composition, the room size, the bed clearance areas, and the improvements of the nursing space were suggested. Implications: The result of this research would be useful as a reference to design nurse area in the wards.

The u-City construction project has become a hot topic in the construction market because it seems economic value-added field for construction firms. However, construction firms don't willingly participate in the u-City construction market because environments of the future business for the u-City are very uncertain. Scenario planning is a very powerful method in managing this uncertain planning situation and is based on scenarios that help each enterprise appropriately adapt itself to its own business environments. Therefore it is based on the main principles of systems thinking and multiple futures. For the purpose of dealing with such uncertainties, this paper attempts to develop the possible market scenarios of the u-City construction market in S.Korea through a scenario planning approach. From this perspective, we considered various aspects of the u-City construction such as market demands, technology development, policy level and management environment. After considering the relevant issues, we identified the main trends and key uncertainties. Finally, we developed three coherent u-City construction market scenarios. Construction firms can use these scenarios as a basic reference for market analysis and business strategy. Therefore, this paper is able to enhance the participation of construction firms in the u-City construction market.
The Chinese Architect Wangshu, who won the Pritzker Architecture Prize at 2012, is the first and only winner in China. This study focused on the expression of his unique architectural ideas. Especially with a high interest in Chinese traditional calligraphy and landscape painting, Wangshu tried to use its traditional features to form his own architectural way. First this study looked at the features of calligraphy and landscape painting. Second this research studied the expression of Wangshu's architectural practice in calligraphy's way. Lastly this study furthered study of Wangshu's architecture combined with landscape paintings' features. The results state these following. 1) For calligraphy, he used the "modular composition" of Chinese characters to architectural composition, which included architectural form and materials. The "similarities" and "space creation" of calligraphy are respectively applied to architectural spatial details and site planning. 2) For landscape painting, Wangshu borrows its elements to compose his architecture with "gardening consciousness". The "view method" of paintings was used to his architectural pedestrian flows, and Wangshu also based on the "space creation" of landscape painting to do architectural space design with creating the similar atmosphere.
In order to shorten construction duration in high-rise project, construction company tried to make various system method toward simplifying construction method and shortening construction duration. Though high-rise tower-type residential project are growing, there are few case study. Then, the data for preliminary schedule planning in high-rise tower-type residential project are rare. This purpose of research shows construction method in structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project, suggests schedule planning in structural work through case studies. The structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project was divided 1) completion of form in lower part and 2) the typical floor under penthouse. The statistical analysis were done in two parts, the data from analysis were used in simulation. Finally, researcher confirmed the difference between real construction duration and the figure from simulation. The results shows that the more construction duration is long, the less ACS's cost is low. It means the effectiveness is increasing in ACS, if the floor number is high.
