Human 5-reductase type II(5AR2) is an important target for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. In this study we describe the establishment of cell line which stably expressed 3X FLAG tagged human 5AR2. We used this cell line as a cell based assay tool and source for 5AR2 enzyme. First a plasmid (3XFLAGpCMVl0-5AR2) for the expression of 5AR2 was constructed by the use of the vector 3XFLAGpCMV10 and transfected into the HEK 293. By selection with G418 sulfate. ten HEK 293 single cell clones were obtained of which three stably exhibited high 5AR2 activity. (omitted)

In this study, we proposed a real-time ECG analytical method for predicting stress and dangerous heart condition using the ECG signal in playing AR/VR device. A real-time diagnosis is used as R-R interval based HRV(:Heart rate variability), BPM(:Beats Per Minitue) and autonomic nervous research with through mapping method of two-dimensional planes. The ECG data were analyzed every 5 minutes and derived from autonomic nervous system diagnosis.

A Capacitor Commutated Converter (CCC) has less difficulty of commutation failure in comparison to the conventional line commutated converter. This paper proposes the Ar1R control of the CCC in the inverter operation, which deserves as the Ar1R of the conventional converter. The CCC can be operated in high power factor area by using the proposing Ar1R control. The voltage stability at an AC bus connected the CCC inverter is investigated and estimated its ability of preventing the AC voltage collapse. To estimate the voltage stability, this paper developed the simplified converter mathematical model and led the VSF index. The results shows that the AC voltage stability is guaranteed and enables the interconnection to an weak AC system, when compensation factor of the compensation capacitor is higher than 200%.

Adrenergic receptors play a major role in thermogenesis and lipolysis in brown and visceral adipose tissues, and have been implicated in the pathogenesis of obesity and metabolic disorders. The purpose of this study was to estimate the effects of $\beta$2-adrenergic receptor ($\beta$2AR) and $\beta$3-adrenergic receptor ($\beta$3AR) genotypes on hyperglycemia and obesity in the Korean population. A representative sample consisting of 530 Korean men and women were measured for height, weight, BMI, WHR, obesity index and body composition. The genotypes of $\beta$2AR polymorphism in codon 27 and $\beta$3AR polymorphism in codon 64 were analyzed by the PCR RFLP method. Serum concentrations of fasting glucose, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and triglyceride were determined. The frequencies of $\beta$2AR and $\beta$3AR genotype were: both wild type, 62.5% ; only $\beta$2AR variant type, 12.8% ; only $\beta$3AR variant type, 18.8% ; and both variant type, 5.8% ; the frequency of E and R alleles were 0.098 and 0.137, respectively. Among the physiological parameters, fasting glucose level was significantly higher in subjects with both variant type compared with the three other types (p <0.05), Subjects with both variant type had 12%, 12% and 9.3% increases in serum glucose levels compared with wild type, only $\beta$2AR variant type, and only $\beta$3AR variant type, respectively. When logistic regression analysis was conducted to estimate the risk for hyperglycemia, the subjects were selected for fasting blood glucose concentrations of more than 6.105 m㏖/L (110 mg/dL), and the odds ratios were 1.215 (p=0.636) for only $\beta$2AR variant type,1.659 (p=0.089) for only $\beta$3AR variant type, and 3.078 (p=0.011) for both variant type. These results suggest that the interaction of $\beta$2AR and $\beta$3AR variant genotypes has a strong association with increased glucose levels, and might be a significant risk factor for hyperglycemia among Korean subjects.

In this paper, all near-rings R are left near-rings and all representations of R are (right) R-groups. We start with a study of AR, almost AR and AGR rings which are motivated by the works on the Sullivan's Problem [10] and its properties. Next, for any R-group G, we introduce a notion of R-groups with M R-property and investigate their properties and some characterizations of these R-groups. Finally, for the faithful M R-property, we get a commutativity of near-rings and rings.

In this study, the Ar plasma treatment was used to improve the surface roughness of Poly-Si1-xGex thin film deposited by RTCVD. The surface roughness and the resistivity of Si1-xGex thin film were investigated with variation of Ar plasma treatment parameters (electrode distance, working pressure, time, substrate temperature and R.F power). When the Ar plasma treatment was used, the cluster size decreased by the surface etching effect due to the increasing surface collision energy of particles (ion, neutral atom) in plasma under the conditions of decreasing electrode distance and increasing pressure, time, temperature, and R. F power. Although the surface roughness value decreased by the reduction of the cluster size due to surface etching effect, however, the resistivity increased. This may be due to the surface damage caused by the increasing surface collision energy. It was concluded that the surface roughness could be improved by the Ar plasma treatment, while the resistivity was increased by the surface damage on the substrate.

The obesity is detrimental to the health of people living in affluent societies. Individual differences in energy metabolism are caused primarily by single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs), some of which promote the development of obesity-related type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a common multifactorial genetic syndrome, which is determined by several different genes and environmental factors. In this review, five major conclusions are reached: (1)To be clinically significant, SNPs must be relevant, prevalent, modifiable, and measurable. (2)Differences in SNPs may have been caused by famine, ultraviolet light, alcohol, climate, agricultural revolution. livestock, lactase persistence, and westernized lifestyle. (3)Candidate obesity genes of calorie intake restriction are SIM 1, MC3R, MC4R, AGRP, CART, CCK, CNTFR, DRD2, Ghrelin, 5-HT receptor, NPY, PON and those of energy metabolism are LEP, LEPR, UCP1, UCP2, UCP3, B2AR, B3AR, PGC-1, Androgen receptor and those of fat mobilization are AGT, ACE, ADA, APM1, Apolipoproteins, PPAR, FABP, FOXC2, GCGR, $11-{\beta}HSDI$, LDLR, Hormonal sensitive lipase, Perilipin, $TNF-{\alpha}$, $TNF-{\beta}$ (4)Candidate obesity genes in the eastern are NPY, LEP, LEPR, UCP1, UCP2, UCP3, B2AR, B3AR, ACE, APM1, PPAR, and FABP. (5)Candidate obesity genes in type 2 diabetes mellitus are MC3R, MC4R, B2AR, B3AR, ADA, APM1, PPAR, FABP, FOXC2, PC1, PC2, ABCC8, CAPN10, CYP19, CYP7, ENPP1, GCK, GYS1, IGF, IL-6, Insulin receptor, IRS, and LPL. The discovery of SNPs will lead to a greater understanding of the pathogenesis of obesity and to better diagnostics, treatment, and eventually prevention.

This paper proposes an efficient spatial index, named $AR^*$-tree(Area $R^*$-tree) which is a variant of the $R^*$-tree, for mobile software. A MBR(Minimum Bounding Rectangle) structure of the $AR^*$-tree has additional min and max values of area axis as well as x and y axes. The value of area axis is used to determine the significance of a spatial data. If area of a spatial data is large, then it is significant when drawing a map. To reduce complexity of a map on a small screen of mobile device, only significant spatial data can be found by the $AR^*$-tree. The result of a series of tests indicates that the $AR^*$-tree provides a method for control of readability of a map and guarantees an efficient performance at the same time.

The arrangement of encapsulated Ar atoms in the molecular-dimensioned cavities of fully dehydrated zeolite A of unit-cell composition $Cs_3Na_8HSi_{12}Al_{12}O_{48}$ ($Cs_3$-A) has been studied crystallographically to probe the confinement effect of guest species in microporous environment. Atoms of Ar were encapsulated in the cavities of $Cs_3$-A by treatment with 410 atm of Ar at $400^{\circ}C$ for two days, followed by cooling at room temperature. The crystal structure of $Cs_3Na_8H$-A(4Ar) ($P_e$ = 410 atm, $a=12.245(2){\AA}$, $R_1=0.0543$, and $R_2=0.0552$) has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction technique in the cubic space group $Pm\bar{3}m$ at 21 (1) $^{\circ}C$ and 1 atm. Encapsulated Ar atoms are distributed in three crystallographic distinct positions: 1.5 Ar atoms per unit cell opposite 6-rings, 1.5 opposite four-rings in the large cavity, and finally 1.0 in the sodalite-unit. The possible structures of argon clusters, such as $Ar_2$, $Ar_3$, and $Ar_4$, are proposed.

Effectiveness of some natural antioxidants were investigated by measuring the physico-chemical charcteristics and fatty acid composition during thermal oxidation in palm oil. Tocopherol showed most enhanced thermal oxidation stabilities compared to the other natural antioxidants. AR spice was no good AOM stability and changes of acid value but the other parameters were obtained desirable results. The changes of linoleic aicd content was slightly decreased during thermal oxidation. Addition of rosemary and glycyrriza extract increased the stabilities of oil less than tocopherol and AR spice. Order of antioxdative effects was tocopherol, AR spice and others. There was no significiant difference in stability of rosemary and glycyrriza extract.
