A Conceptual Model of a B2B Food Distribution Platform Based on Blockchain Consensus Mechanism

  • We proposed a B2B food distribution platform by transforming an established food distribution and management platform based on blockchain technology. Our proposed model introduced a method to bring innovation into the domestic B2B food distribution market and systematically manage and utilize massive data (country of origin, producer, transaction, distributor, final consumer) generated within the food distribution process.

복제동물 생산을 위한 핵이식기술의 개발 현황과 전망 (Current Status and Prospects of Nuclear Transplantation Technology for Production of Cloned Animals)

  • The nuclear transplantation technique is known as the most potential and efficient method for producing large numbers of genetically identical animals from a single embryo and somatic cells. After Dolly was introduced in 1997, many scientists were amazed. A possibility came to a reality that live offspring could be produced with differentiated somatic cells from an adult animal. On the other side, many in the press and the sensationalists focused on the socially, ethically and scientifically unacceptable sides of the technology. In this article, the history, current status and prospects of the technological development of nuclear transplantation in mammals and its application to the production of cloned animals are described. For the efficient and successful production of cloned embryos by nuclear transplantation, the right selection, preactivation and micromanipulation of oocytes as capacious recipient cytoplasm, the adequate and benefitial preparation of multiple totipotent embryonic and somatic cells as donor nuclei, fusion of them and in vitro production of cloned embryos are very critical. Recently the overall efficiency of production of cloned embryos and offspring in livestock has been much improved. Cloning will also be a more efficient, faster and useful way of creating transgenic fetuses for gene therapies, gene pharming, organs for xenotransplantation by preselection and mass production of transgenic embryos and consequently improving the production efficiency in transgenic animals. Further technical development of nuclear transplantation will enable large-scale production of cloned livestock and in near future the commercial cloning of animals will become a reality.

  • 비휘발성, 비폭발성, 열적 안정성의 특성을 가지고 있는 이온성액체는 환경친화적인 용매이고, 또한 양이온과 음이온의 다양한 조합을 통해 사용 목적에 부합하는 이온성액체를 용이하게 합성할 수 있어 용매로서의 다양성으로 인해 청정 용매, 촉매, 추출 및 분리, 전해질 등의 분야에서 다양하게 응용되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이온성액체에 대한 기본 지식와 함께 현재 미생물생명화학공정에서 이온성액체가 용매로서 효과적으로 응용되고 있는 효소반응 분야, 단백질 재접힘 분야, 바이오매스 용해 및 활용분야에서의 최근 연구동향을 기술하였다.

Nanosecond Laser Cleaning of Aluminum Alloy Oxide Film

  • Laser cleaning has the advantages of environmental protection, precision, and high efficiency, and has good prospects for application in removing oxide films on the surface of aluminum alloy. This paper discusses the cleaning threshold and cleaning mechanism of aluminum alloy surface oxide film. A nanosecond pulsed laser was used to remove a 5-㎛-thick oxide film from the surface of 7A04 aluminum alloy, and the target surface temperature and cleaning depth were simulated. The effects of different laser energy densities on the surface morphology of the aluminum alloy were analyzed, and the plasma motion process was recorded using a high-speed camera. The temperature measurement results of the experiment are close to the simulation results. The results show that the laser cleaning of aluminum alloy oxide film is mainly based on the vaporization mechanism and the shock wave generated by the explosion.

  • 이동성이 없는 식물은 주위 환경에서 다양한 형태의 스트레스를 받게 되는데 이를 대응하기 위한 방어 기작으로 스트레스 저항성 단백질과 조절 단백질이 생성된다. 앱시스산은 이러한 신호전달 역할을 하는 호르몬 분자로 잘 알려져 있으며, 잎의 노화, 종자의 휴면 등 식물의 생리적 반응에도 관여한다. 특히 식물이 아닌 동물, 조류(algae) 등 다른 생물계에서도 다양한 기능을 수행하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 총설에서는 앱시스산의 생합성 및 신호전달 과정 그리고 그 기능에 대하여 조사하였고, 농생명공학, 의생명공학, 산업생명공학을 포함한 다양한 생명공학분야에서 앱시스산을 활용한 작물량 증대, 질병 치료제 개발, 바이오에너지 생산 등 최신 응용 연구 및 산업적 활용에 대한 동향을 살펴보았다.

Opportunities and prospects for personalizing the user interface of the educational platform in accordance with the personality psychotypes

  • The article is devoted to the actual problem of studying the possibilities of implementing personalization of the user interface in accordance with the personality psychotypes. The psychological aspect of user interface design tools is studied and the correspondence of their application to the manifestations of personality psychotypes is established. The results of the distribu-tion of attention of users of these categories on the course page of the educational platform are presented and the distribution of attention in accordance with the focus on educational material is analyzed. Individual features and personal preferences regarding the used design tools are described, namely the use of accent colors in interface design, the application of the prin-ciples of typographic hierarchy, and so on. In accordance with this, the prospects for implementing personalization of the user interface of the educational platform are described. The results of the study allow us to state the relevance of developing and applying personalization of the user interface of an educational platform to improve learning outcomes in accordance with the psychological impact of individual design tools, and taking into account certain features of user categories. The research is devoted to the study of user attention concentration using heatmaps, in particular based on eyetreking technology, we will investigate the distribution of user attention on the course page of an educational platform Ta redistribution of atten-tion in accordance with certain categories of personality psychotypes. The results of the study can be used to rearrange the LMS Moodle interface according to the user's psychotype to achieve the best concentration on the training material. The obtained data are the basis for developing effective user interfaces for personalizing educational platforms to improve the quality of the education.

항동맥경화 활성 바이오소재 개발 연구 동향 및 활용 전망 (Current Status and Application Prospects of Anti-Atherosclerotic Active Biomaterials)

  • 전세계적으로 발병 및 사망률이 높은 동맥경화증은 뇌졸중, 심근경색 등 심혈관질환의 주요 병증의 원인인 만성 염증성 질환이다. 동맥경화증은 지질 침착으로 인해 죽종(atheroma)이 형성되고, 혈전증이 유발되면서 관련 증상이 발생한다. 동맥경화증의 합성 치료제의 부작용 우려로 인해 생물 유래 항동맥경화 소재 개발의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 이에 따라 동맥경화증의 개선 및 치료를 위한 바이오소재의 발굴 및 기전 규명 등 관련 연구가 활발히 수행되고 있다. 주로 동맥경화증 발병 관련 인자들을 조절하여 증상을 억제하거나 지연시키는 바이오소재들이 연구되고 있으며, 대표적으로 다당류, 폴리페놀, 코엔자임 Q10이 해당된다. 우수한 활성을 가진 바이오소재의 경우에는 생체 내(동물 모델)에서의 항동맥경화증 활성이 확인되었다. 본고에서는 동맥경화증의 발병 기전을 살펴보고, 항동맥경화증 활성이 보고된 바이오소재의 연구 동향 및 활용 전망을 제시하고자 한다.

Development of deep autoencoder-based anomaly detection system for HANARO

  • The high-flux advanced neutron application reactor (HANARO) is a multi-purpose research reactor at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI). HANARO has been used in scientific and industrial research and developments. Therefore, stable operation is necessary for national science and industrial prospects. This study proposed an anomaly detection system based on deep learning, that supports the stable operation of HANARO. The proposed system collects multiple sensor data, displays system information, analyzes status, and performs anomaly detection using deep autoencoder. The system comprises communication, visualization, and anomaly-detection modules, and the prototype system is implemented on site in 2021. Finally, an analysis of the historical data and synthetic anomalies was conducted to verify the overall system; simulation results based on the historical data show that 12 cases out of 19 abnormal events can be detected in advance or on time by the deep learning AD model.

  • Silk proteins consist of two major proteins, fibroin and sericin. There is currently an enormous reawakening of interest in these silk proteins as a biomaterial due to their mechanical and biological properties based on the detailed findings. Novel method for determination of the crystalline structure of silk proteins in an atomic level using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was reviewed. Recent application of silks to biomaterials and prospects for future were discussed.
