  • Presentation is a technique that is logically and confidently conveying your thoughts and opinions in front of others. It is essential when you go to school or work. However, it takes a lot of time, money, and effort to improve your presentation skills. In this paper, we describe the development of a presentation coaching application that analyzes the presentation practice video. The application program can analyze the presentation time, the speaker's expression, the use of duplicate words, etc.

A Function Point Model for Measuring the Development Cost of Information Services using Wireless Data Broadcast

  • Software applications have a huge and inseparable impact on our lives. The complexity of the applications increases rapidly to support high performance and multifunction. Accordingly, the cost model for applications is increasingly important. Line of Code (LOC) and Man-Month (M/M) as the cost model measure the quantitative sides of the applications. Unlike them, Function Point (FP) measures the functionalities of the application. FP is efficient for estimating qualitative characteristics, but it is restricted to measuring the cost of an application using the wireless data broadcast which can support any number of clients. In this paper, we propose, a Function Point model for Information services using wireles data Broadcast (FPIB) to measure the development cost of an application that serves using the wireless data broadcast environment. FPIB adopts critical parameters of the wireless broadcast environment and the complexity of them to measure effectively the cost developing the application. Through the evaluation comparing the proposed FPIB with FP, we reveal the effectiveness of the proposed FPIB.

  • In the recent weapon system trend, it is required to develop small and low cost guidance missile to track and strike the enemy target effectively. Controling the such small drone typed weapon demands a integrated electronic device that equipped with not only a wireless network interface, a high resolution camera, various sensors for target tracking, and position and attitude control but also a high performance processor that integrates and processes those sensor outputs in real-time. In this paper, we propose the android smartphone as a solution for that and implement the guidance and control application of the missile. Furthermore, the performance of the implemented guidance and control application is analyzed through the simulation.

  • The reusability problems in the existing object-oriented development method and component development method is the problem that should be also resolved in the mobile development. Changing the function in mobile applications need to upgrade the entire mobile application, which can cause problems in mobile application in conjunction with other applications within the device. Thus, the changable functions in mobile application should be developed by considering their reusability. In this paper, we propose the customization technique that can be improved reusability for a variety of requirements of mobile application. We propose the self-adaptable customization technique that can change dynamically for the function to require changes by applying the data variability among variabilities.

  • Business process in e-government mostly embody as the flow of documents. Constructing a web-based document flow system becomes an critical task for today s digital government. But few of them use an off-the-shelf workflow product. Why? One of the reasons is that most of the workflow system are heavyweight, monolithic, and package a comprehensive set of features in an all-or-nothing manner. Another reason is that workflow technology lacks the constructs and modeling capability as programming language. It is incumbent on government IT organizations to transform their solution development to component-based computing model. Component technology isolates the computation and communication parts, but how to compose different software components is still a hard nut. An integrated development environment is necessary for CBSD. In this paper we propose a XML and component-based document flow-oriented integrated development environment (DFoIDE) for software developers. By writing some xml configure file, and operate on DFoIDE, developer can construct a workflow application quickly. This method divides system to several components and the activities in process are implemented as business component. Different components are discribed detailedly in this paper, especially one of the core component. Component Integrating Tool. Different perspectives in workflow application are seperated and depicted as different XML files. Correspondly, A component composition method for developing workflow application instead of workflow itself is proposed.

  • Nowaday, The Sustainable Development about global environment is the most important subject. In urban environment, a variety of the nature energy utilization such as the solar energy are the most efficient solution to solve this issue. One of these efficient, solutions, a photovoltaic system using sunlight has been introduced to the building with an advantage such as cost-effective, safe for using and good for environment friendly in light with energy utilization. Recently, many of the apartment housings are built in domestic country. The apartment buildings have been constructed since early of 1970's. now apartment is taking over 50% out of entire housing in korea. The apartment housing applying to a photovoltaic system has been extensively studied in the foreign country but our county runs short. So, It was necessary to technical development of PV application which is suitable in Korean house culture. The objective of this study is to develop the building integrated PV application method for apartment building.

  • Internet application for education has drawn interests in recent time. Usually the method of communication was unidirectional, which means teachers posted educational material on a server and students received them. Even the usage of WWW can't overcome the restriction of unidirectional communication problem. In order to solve this problem, researchers and commercial vendors began to provide packages for bidirectional solution. WBT(Web Based Test) is important subject in this viewpoint. In this paper, the development and application of the 'Module Study' will be presented. The system realize the powerful personalized tutoring, which is even beyond the capability of conventional WBT, and propose a new direction of Web Based Learning.

  • When it comes to the training program conducted by company to improve job performance ability, it would be not a investment but a waste if the training contents is not practically applied to the business accomplishment. Even though some people raise a question on the job application of postal distance training, funded by employment insurance, the study on the job application of postal distance training shows that the components of the training program have a positive effect on it and the model has 60.5% validity. Moreover, its control effect on environmental support and individual characteristics has been partially established. The study has been conducted by questioning survey with the employees who completed a postal education 3 months ago. With the result, we can find that the postal distance training benefits employees to improve their job performance abilities and expect that it continuously plays a crucial role in the field of company training through the development of high-quality training programs.

  • This paper presents the automated component generation system to support development of web application by the Model 2 framework on distributed environment. Model 2 framework is based on MVC(Model View Controller) model and this model capsulate the functionality of web application and have the benefits like extensibility, maintainability, resuability. In this paper, we propose a framework which is adapted in JSP environment and implement the automated component generation system. This system can efficiently utilized for web application development which require extensibility, maintainability, resuability as well as rapid web application development.

  • RI-Biomics technology is advanced convergence technologies that can be measured in real time and track in vivo behavior and metabolism of substances using characteristics of the radioactive isotope. Its application fields are increasing such as drug development, agriculture, development of new materials and their utilization, etc. In addition, according to domestic and international developments and changes in the RI-Biomics environment, RI-Biomics professionals are needed to train continuously. To develop systematic human resources basement and competency-based curriculum, we perform competency modeling of pedagogical perspective to targeted at high-performance on RI-Biomics. Furthermore, we redefine the competency model and verified by industry experts with focus group interviews. In the result, two general competencies and three professional competencies were extracted by interview. Each competencies are organized six sub-competencies and nine sub-competencies. In the finial steps, the same procedures were repeated to obtain the consensus of experts on derived competencies and behavioral objectives. The results of the study are applicable to enhance human resource management and to develop the curriculum for RI-Biomics expert training. It is expected to be used as reference material of long term-planning for RI-Biomics professional.
