온라인 구전과 마케팅 성과의 다이나믹스 연구 : 모바일 게임 앱 리뷰를 중심으로 (The Dynamics of Online word-of-mouth and Marketing Performance : Exploring Mobile Game Application Reviews)

  • 본 연구는 모바일앱 온라인 리뷰의 구전내용의 다이나믹스(Dynamics)를 확인하기 위해 내용분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 모바일앱 구전 단어 간의 관계를 알아보고 모바일앱 특성에 따라 분류하여 비교 조사하였다. 분석대상은 게임 앱 카테고리 내 10개의 앱으로 선정하였다. 수집된 해당 모바일앱 리뷰는 꾸준한 인기를 가진 Trend형 게임앱과 짧은 인기를 보인 Fad형 게임앱, 무료앱, 유료앱으로 분류하였다. 이후 형태소 분석 등 전처리 과정을 거친 데이터를 기반으로 텍스트마이닝과 Word2Vec 분석을 시도하였다. 연구결과, 앱 리뷰의 양은 순위변동과 상관관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 초기 10일간 변화는 상관관계가 낮거나 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 출시 직후 앱개발사의 단기 마케팅활동이 순위를 형성하는데 영향을 주기 때문으로 판단된다. 꾸준한 인기를 얻은 Trend형 게임앱과 짧은 인기를 얻은 Fad형 게임앱 간 리뷰내용의 다이나믹스(Dynamics)도 확인할 수 있었다.

Smart Tourism: A Study of Mobile Application Use by Tourists Visiting South Korea

  • The purpose of this exploratory study is to identify the mobile phone applications (apps) used by foreign tourists visiting South Korea through a pilot study using focus groups and individual interviews. Concentrating on tourist mobile app use in a smart tourism environment and categorized through a taxonomy of mobile applications lays the framework and determines the factors boosting tourism smartphone app trends by foreign tourists visiting South Korea. Researchers collected data through ethnographic methods and analyzed it through qualitative research to uncover major themes within the smart tourism app use phenomenon. The researchers coded, counted, analyzed, and then divided the findings gleaned from a pilot study and interviews into a taxonomy of seven logical smartphone app categories. The labeling and coding of all the data accounting for similarities and differences can be recognized and are logically discussed in the implications of the apps used by tourists to assist tourist destinations. More specifically these findings will assist smart tourism destinations by better understanding foreign tourist smartphone app use behavior. Tourists visiting South Korea interviewed in this study exhibited significant mastery of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, craved free WiFi access, and utilized smartphone apps for all facets of their travel. Findings show major concentrations of app use in bookings of accommodations, tourist attractions, online shopping, navigation, wayfinding, augmented reality, information searching, language translation, gaming, and online dating while traveling in South Korea.

The effects of dietary self-monitoring intervention on anthropometric and metabolic changes via a mobile application or paper-based diary: a randomized trial

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Weight loss via a mobile application (App) or a paper-based diary (Paper) may confer favorable metabolic and anthropometric changes. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A randomized parallel trial was conducted among 57 adults whose body mass indices (BMIs) were 25 kg/m2 or greater. Participants randomly assigned to either the App group (n = 30) or the Paper group (n = 27) were advised to record their foods and supplements through App or Paper during the 12-week intervention period. Relative changes of anthropometries and biomarker levels were compared between the 2 intervention groups. Untargeted metabolic profiling was identified to discriminate metabolic profiles. RESULTS: Out of the 57 participants, 54 participants completed the trial. Changes in body weight and BMI were not significantly different between the 2 groups (P = 0.11). However, body fat and low-density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol levels increased in the App group but decreased in the Paper group, and the difference was statistically significant (P = 0.03 for body fat and 0.02 for LDL-cholesterol). In the metabolomics analysis, decreases in methylglyoxal and (S)-malate in pyruvate metabolism and phosphatidylcholine (lecithin) in linoleic acid metabolism from pre- to post-intervention were observed in the Paper group. CONCLUSIONS: In the 12-week randomized parallel trial of weight loss through a App or a Paper, we found no significant difference in change in BMI or weight between the App and Paper groups, but improvement in body fatness and LDL-cholesterol levels only in the Paper group under the circumstances with minimal contact by dietitians or health care providers.

The Effect of Mobile Food Delivery Application Usage Factors on Customer Satisfaction and Intention to Reuse

  • The number of delivery app users and their social impact have increased along with the number smartphone users. Accordingly, the present study attempted to suggest a method to improve the service quality of delivery apps for relevant businesses and researchers by determining the influences of delivery app usage factors on customer satisfaction and reuse intention. The present study distributed and collected questionnaires through on- and offline surveys targeting males and females in their 20s in the Daejeon area. The results of the regression analysis showed that the influence of delivery app usage factors on customer satisfaction was 43.8%, and informativeness, payment and safety, usefulness, and convenience were found to influence the increased satisfaction with the delivery apps. The influence of delivery app usage factors on customers' reuse intention was 37.3%, and among the four usage factors, informativeness and payment and safety were found to be the main factors for increasing the reuse intention. As providing more accurate information is a means to increase customer satisfaction and reuse intention by improving the service quality of the delivery apps, new menus and prices should be rapidly updated.

The Effects of Mobile Accommodation App Quality Perception on Continual Use Intention through Expectation Confirmation and Satisfaction

  • This research investigates the relationship between the information quality, service quality, and system quality of lodging apps and the users' expectations, level of satisfaction, and intent to continue using them. For this objective, 418 respondents participated in a survey. To evaluate the hypotheses, the collected data were examined using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical software. This study constructed a model using information quality, service quality, system quality, expectancy, satisfaction, and intention to continue using the pre- and post-use relationship of users of accommodation applications. The results of testing the hypotheses indicated that system quality had no significant effect on expectancy, system quality and service quality had no significant effect on satisfaction, and all other hypotheses had significant effects. The conclusion of this research is that the app's system quality, including access speed, access barriers, and privacy, does not satisfy pre- and post-use expectations. In addition, the system quality and service quality of the application have little effect on the app's satisfaction. The information quality of the application has a considerable impact on expectation confirmation and satisfaction, expectation confirmation has an impact on satisfaction, and expectation confirmation and satisfaction have an impact on intention to continue using.

Analysis of Indonesia's Digital Industry and the Case of Gojek

  • Indonesia's industrial application of digital technology is growing fast, especially in the application of mobile technology. About 1,700 digital startups are sprouting. PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa is one of those digital startups founded in 2010. This company is widely known, especially in Southeast Asia, for its products and services called 'Gojek' which was launched initially in 2015. Gojek began as a ride-hailing mobile-based application that later evolved into a Super App providing more than 20 different services in one single mobile application. After becoming Indonesian first unicorn company in 2016, Gojek now has become the first decacorn company in Indonesia, worth more than USD 10 billion since 2019. This paper aims to analyzes the technology industry in Indonesia and analyzes Gojek's background and history, its competitive status, and critical success factors. As a conclusion, we provide some advices for future development of Gojek in Indonesia and other countries in Southeast Asia's market. The advices include rebranding its overseas presence and the use of consistent brand identity across countries.

SW 교육을 위한 로봇과 앱 개발 도구 활용 프로그래밍 교육 방안 (Design a Programming Education Plan for SW Education Using Robot and Mobile Application Development Tool)

  • 마트 기기의 급속한 발전과 보급에 따라 사회가 크게 변화되고 있으며, SW교육의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 학습자들 또한 모바일 앱 프로그래밍에 대한 관심이 매우 높다. 한편 프로그래밍 교육에서 로봇의 활용은 흥미유발, 동기부여, 참여도, 성취도 제고의 측면에서 효과가 있는 것으로 연구 결과가 발표되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SW 교육을 위한 로봇과 앱 개발 도구 활용 프로그래밍 교육 방안을 개발하고 적용하였다. 그리고 수업, 로봇, 앱 인벤터, 로봇과 앱 인벤터의 연동 등의 네 가지 영역으로 구분하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 네가지 영역에서 공통적으로 흥미, 만족에 대한 학습자의 반응이 매우 긍정적이었다. 학습자들은 스마트 폰을 사용하여 프로그래밍 결과를 즉각 확인할 수 있고, 특히 스마트폰으로 로봇을 제어할 수 있다는 점이 학습자의 흥미를 높이는 점으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 개발한 로봇과 앱 개발 도구 활용 프로그래밍 교육 방안은 유용성이 있다고 볼 수 있다.

웹 공통 API를 이용한 스마트폰 전자책 응용 (Smart Phone E-Book Application using Web Common APIs)

  • 최근 스마트폰 어플리케이션 시장은 급속히 성장하고 있고, 사용자들은 향상된 스마트폰의 기능을 이용하여 다양하고도 풍부한 사용 경험을 원하고 있지만 스마트폰 어플리케이션의 개발은 쉬운 작업이 아니다. 각종 스마트폰 센서들을 컨트롤하기 위해서는 각각의 스마트폰 OS에 맞는 네이티브 프로그래밍 언어를 전문적으로 사용할 수 있어야 하며, 더구나 개발 프로세스는 각 스마트폰 OS에 따라 별도의 작업으로 이루어져야만 한다. 웹 공통 API를 이용하는 웹기반의 스마트폰 응용 (일명, '웹앱') 개발 방법은 이와 같은 문제를 해결할 수 있게 해준다. 그것은 웹 언어인 HTML로 인터페이스를 구현하고 자바스크립트로 웹 공통 API를 호출하여 각 스마트폰의 디바이스 API에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 공통 API를 이용한 편리하면서도 OS 독립적인 스마트폰 웹앱(WebApp) 개발 방법을 사용하여 스마트폰 전자책 응용을 구현한 경험을 소개한다.

  • 최근 ICT 기술 기반의 다양한 학습 도구를 이용해 학습 능력을 높이려고 하고 있다. 게임과 같은 응용프로그램을 강의식 수업과 병행하여 수업에서 대한 흥미를 유발하고 스마트 폰 앱을 학습 도구로 활용하여 학습 효과를 높이고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 조기 코딩 교육을 통해서 창의적 사고능력, 문제해결 능력, 논리적 사고능력를 키우고자 노력하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 앱 인벤터를 활용한 학습 및 퀴즈 앱으로 수업을 진행하고 개발된 앱을 설명한 후 앱 관련 설문을 진행하였다. 개발된 앱을 활용하여 예비 유아교사에게 교육철학에 대한 학습을 진행 하였고 그 앱에 대한 설명과 앱 인벤터를 활용하여 유아 교육에 활용할 수 있도록 교육하였다. 설문을 통해서 학습 효과 및 유아 교육에서 활용 의사를 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 앱 인벤터로 개발된 앱으로 유아 교사 학습 능력 향상 및 유아 교육에서 코딩을 활용할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

배달 애플리케이션 품질이 애플리케이션 신뢰, 라이더 신뢰 그리고 사용의도에 미치는 영향 : 온라인 플랫폼 물류에서의 신뢰 이전을 중심으로 (Effect of Delivery Application Quality on Application Trust, Delivery Rider Trust, and Intention to Use: Focused on Trust Transfer in Online Platform Logistics)

  • Purpose: Delivery food orders are on the rise due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Many customers are ordering food through delivery apps rather than visiting restaurants to eat out. Delivery application platforms are growing due to the development of O2O. Most of the people who provide gig worker for delivery applications are rider. Rider provides labor on their own terms and have more work flexibility and autonomy than ordinary workers. Trust can be transferred from a well-known entity to an unknown entity. From the customer's point of view of using the delivery application, trust can be seen through the third-party trust of the delivery application platform-rider-customer. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the effect on delivery application trust and rider trust through the well-known characteristics of delivery applications. Research design, data, and methodology: This study was conducted on Korean consumers over 20 years of age who have ordered food through a delivery application for the past month. After educating 5 investigators about the purpose of this study, 60 copies of the survey were conducted per person. During the investigation period, from September 2 to September 26, 2021, 322 copies were collected over 25 days. Among the collected questionnaires, 37 were excluded from insincere or partially unanswered, and 285 were used for analysis. In addition, the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0. Result: As a result of the study, convenience, price, and variety of restaurants were found to have a significant positive (+) effect on app trust, but design did not have a significant effect on app trust. Also, it was found that convenience had a significant positive (+) effect on trust in rider, but design, price, and variety of restaurants did not have a significant effect. App trust was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on rider trust and intention to use, and it was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on rider trust and intention to use. Conclusions: First, this study established a structural framework between delivery application characteristics-delivery-app trust-rider trust-intention to use. Second, in this study, it was found that customer trust in well-known delivery applications was transferred to less-known rider trust. Third, the delivery application should increase the convenience of use. Fourth, delivery application should set the delivery fee appropriately. Fifth, delivery application must continuously train the rider.
