According to our research, there are 78poems in the collection and nine out of them hasn't been yet reported to the Korean Academy. The characteristics of Shijo in the book are followed. First. The collection is different from other books since the book was written in Korean instead of Chinese characters, which shows the uniqueness of the Korean literature in the late 17th and the early 18th century. Secondly, there are different versions of a poem in the collection, which is quite unusual in the other collections. There are different words or phrases used in different versions and even the whole verse is modified in some cases. Thirdly. two out of newly discovered nine short lyric songs is transformed from and that are kind of Chinese Ak-Bu. By the way, the compiler of ${\lceil}Gogeummyeongjakga{\rfloor}$ seemed to understand the co-relation between Ak-Bu and Shijo. and that's why he chose transformed Shijo from Ak-Bu not Chinese poetry. Among nine poems, <9> and <10> are newly discovered responding songs unknown up till now.

  • The relationships between costumes and literature are the remarkable characteristics in the history of Japanese costumes. Among them, the literary designs which have literary subject matters seem unique to Japan. In Japan, the history of the literary design traces far back and its examples are abundant in various literatures in the Heian era. It is particularly notable that the literary designs take a relatively large part of Kosode pattern in the pre-modern period, the Edo era, which can be cleary seen in Kosodehinagata-bon, a collection of Kosode pattern of those era, in addition to various sources of extant relics or paintings. These literary designs lie the tradition of the literary lyricism as aesthetic sense in the japanese costume history. The literary lyricism means the lyrical mood evoked by literature. The purpose of this study is to examine how the literary lyricism which has supported those literary designs was formed and developed. The literary designs on costumes related with the relationships between literature and formative art, for example painting. Those typical example, which started in the literature tournament, utaawase, was devised for matching up with the character of the assembly. They continued as a sort of the intellectual amusements. In the pre-modern period, the literary designs developed In relation to not only subject matters but those expression. Moreover, it shows the extremely typical example that a series of Kosodehiinagata-bons, consisted solely of literary designs, was enjoyed as a device of reading materials like poem anthology.

Naju was the center of publication in 17 & the first half term 18 centuries and then moved to Jangwheung area. In this period, publication of genealogical records, biographies, anthologies, geography books had been increasing vastly. From the 19 century, most books were published by using the wooden type. The wooden type was used because the contents of books were for the limited number of publication. The most active publication happened at the end of 19th century. Significance of Confucian literature, collective anthologies, medical science, and confucious classics decreased in the latter half.
