In this paper, we will prove the second main theorem for holomorphic curves intersecting the moving hypersurfaces in subgeneral position with index on an angular domain. Our results are an extension of the previous second main theorems for holomorphic curves with moving targets on an angular domain.
The author studied 21 adenoid hypertrophied children and 50 normal children by the horizontal, vertical and angular measurements to analyze, the effects of the lymphadenoid hypertrophy to the tongue, mandible, and hyoid bone position. The results were as follows; 1. The tongue of the Adenoid hypertrophy children was positioned mon anterior and lower than that of the normal children. 2. The horizontal, vertical, and angular measurements of the mandible position were larger in the experimental group and especially ANS to ME, PNS to MP, PTM to MP, PP to MP, FOP to MP showed statistically significant difference. 3. The measurements of the hyoid bone position were also larger in the experimental group.
Purpose: This study assessed the accuracy of linear and angular measurements on panoramic radiographs taken at different positions in vitro. Materials and Methods: Two acrylic models were fabricated from a cast with normal occlusion. Straight and $75^{\circ}$ mesially and lingually angulated pins were placed, and standardized panoramic radiographs were taken at standard position, at an $8^{\circ}$ downward tilt of the occlusal plane compared to the standard position, at an $8^{\circ}$ upward tilt of the anterior occlusal plane, and at a $10^{\circ}$ downward tilt of the right and left sides of the model. On the radiographs, the length of the pins above (crown) and below (root) the occlusal plane, total pin length, crown-to-root ratio, and angulation of pins relative to the occlusal plane were calculated. The data were subjected to repeated measures ANOVA and LSD multiple comparisons tests. Results: Significant differences were noted between the radiographic measurements and true values in different positions on both models with linear (P<0.001) and those with angulated pins (P<0.005). No statistically significant differences were observed between the angular measurements and baselines of the natural head posture at different positions for the linear and angulated pins. Conclusion: Angular measurements on panoramic radiographs were sufficiently accurate and changes in the position of the occlusal plane equal to or less than $10^{\circ}$ had no significant effect on them. Some variations could exist in the pin positioning (head positioning), and they were tolerable while taking panoramic radiographs. Linear measurements showed the least errors in the standard position and $8^{\circ}$ upward tilt of the anterior part of the occlusal plane compared to other positions.
The purpose of this investigation was to determine whether correlations exist between balance and impact velocity, angular position, and maximum velocity of a club during drive swing. Twelve skilled golfers were recruited in this study. They were asked to perform ten swing trials and two trials were selected for analysis. Balance parameters were calculated via the force platform while kinematic variables were determined by using the Qualisys system. The results of the present study demonstrated that the average of COP velocity was faster in the medio-lateral direction rather than the anterio-posterior direction. Also, left foot's COP velocity and free torque were greater than the right foot's before impact. The range of the right foot's COP in the anterio-posterior direction before impact were correlated with the club velocity and angular position at impact. There was a negative correlation between the left foot's COP velocity before the impact and the velocity at impact. Additionally, the range and RMS of the left foot's free torque affected on the club angular position at impact and the maximum velocity at release, respectively. Finally, a negative correlation existed between the range of the right foot's free torque after the impact and club's maximum velocity at release.
It is the conventional wisdom that the Poynting-Robertson effect is essentially the outcome of the interplay between absorption and reemission processes. For a better understanding of the motion of charged particles around a compact star with strong radiation, we reached an alternative interpretation for the Poynting-Robertson effect based on the covariant formalism and found that it is attributed to the combination of the aberration and the Lorentz transformation of the radiation stress-energy tensor. As a general relativistic application of the Poynting-Robertson effect, we studied the dynamics of test particles around the spinning relativistic star with strong radiation. We discovered that the combination of the angular momentum and the finite size of the star generates "radiation counter drag" which exerts on the test particle to enhance its specific angular momentum, contrary to the radiation drag. The balance of the radiation drag and the radiation counter drag renders the particle to hover around the spinning luminous star at the "suspension orbit". The radial position and the angular velocity of the particle on the "suspension orbit" are determined by the angular momentum, the luminosity, and the size of the central star only, and they are independent of the initial position and velocity of the particle.
An aerostatic stage has frictionless behavior, so it has a advantage of investigation into positioning characteristics. A one-dimensional aemstatic ceramic stage with ballscrew driven and laser scale feedback system is manufactured. aiming at investigating positioning characteristic of aerostatic stage, especially position error and repeatability, we analyze positioning behavior with other factors such as angular error, temperature. Experimemal results show that the aerostatic stage has a l0nm micro step response. Comparing experimental results and calculated abbe's error, we confirm that mean of position error is owing to angular error. And, also we confirm the temperature is dominant factor of repeatability in ten nm order.
Purpose: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the in vivo accuracy of flapless, computer-aided implant placement by comparing the three-dimensional (3D) position of planned and placed implants through an analysis of linear and angular deviations. Methods: Implant position was virtually planned using 3D planning software based on the functional and aesthetic requirements of the final restorations. Computer-aided design/computer-assisted manufacture technology was used to transfer the virtual plan to the surgical environment. The 3D position of the planned and placed implants, in terms of the linear deviations of the implant head and apex and the angular deviations of the implant axis, was compared by overlapping the pre- and postoperative computed tomography scans using dedicated software. Results: The comparison of 14 implants showed a mean linear deviation of the implant head of 0.56 mm (standard deviation [SD], 0.23), a mean linear deviation of the implant apex of 0.64 mm (SD, 0.29), and a mean angular deviation of the long axis of $2.42^{\circ}$ (SD, 1.02). Conclusions: In the present study, computer-aided flapless implant surgery seemed to provide several advantages to the clinicians as compared to the standard procedure; however, linear and angular deviations are to be expected. Therefore, accurate presurgical planning taking into account anatomical limitations and prosthetic demands is mandatory to ensure a predictable treatment, without incurring possible intra- and postoperative complications.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to compare the Effects of Knee Extensor, Flexor Muscle Strength and Joint Position Sense in Squat Exercise on Variety Surface. Method : Subjuects were consisit of 30 male and female who had non disorder knee joint. we had devided 3 group(control group, balance pad group, and togu group) and we measured that knee joint $15^{\circ}/45^{\circ}$proprioception(position sense) and Peak Torque of knee extensor, flexor muslce at $60^{\circ}/sec$, $180^{\circ}/sec$ angular velocity. Result : First, knee joint $15^{\circ}$proprioception(position sense) of balance pad and togu group was significantly different after exercise(p<.05), but only balance pad group was significantly different at knee joint $45^{\circ}$. Second, knee extensor Peak Torque of balance pad and togu group was significantly different at $60^{\circ}/sec$, $180^{\circ}/sec$ angular velocity(p<.05). Third, knee flexor Peak Torque of balance pad and togu group was significantly different at $60^{\circ}/sec$, $180^{\circ}/sec$ angular velocity(p<.05). Conclusion : Squat exercises on the balance pad and togu were affects knee joint proprioception and muscle strength improvement. These results suggest that squat exercise on the unstable surface is effective for prevention of knee joint injury and functional activity.
In this paper, we propose a tracking control method for a quadrotor equipped with a 2-DOF manipulator, which is based on the multiple sliding surface control (MSSC) method. To derive the model of a quadrotor equipped with a 2-DOF manipulator, we obtain the models of a quadrotor and a 2-DOF manipulator based on the Lagrange-Euler formulation separately - and include the inertia and the reactive torque generated by a manipulator when these obtained models are combined. To make a quadrotor equipped with a manipulator track the desired path, we design a double-loop controller. The desired position is converted into the desired angular position in the outer controller and the system's angle tracks the desired angular position through the inner controller based on the MSSC method. We prove that the position-tracking error asymptotically converges to zero based on the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system through a computer simulation.
The author has made a study on the classification of the mandibular 3rd molars of Korean youths through dental radiography by means of Pell & Gregory's classification and on the prevalence of the dental caries of distal surface of the mandibular 2nd molar adjacent to the mandibular 3rd molars turned anteriorly. The results are as follow; 1. It was found that the largest case number was class I (272 cases, 52.9%) in the relation of the tooth to the ramus of the mandible and 2nd molar. 2. The mesio-angular position was the largest number (239 cases, 46.5%) in the relation of the long axis of the impacted mandibular 3rd molar to the long axis of the 2nd molar. 3. The mesio-angular position of class I was the largest number (140 cases, 27.2 %) in the relation of the tooth to the ramus of the mandible and 2nd molar and the long axis of the impacted mandibular 3rd molar to the long axis of the 2nd molar. 4. The average angle of the long axis of mandibular 3rd molar in mesioangular position or horizontal position to the occlusal plane was 143° 5. Mandibular 3rd molar with lesion such as dental caries or pericoronitis was 73 cases (14.2). 6. The caries incidence rate of the distal surface of the 2nd molar was about 3.1%.
