This study is on the development of algorithm of surge test for quality control on electrical parts of throttle body in automobiles with internal combustion engine, not only to know its condition to be good or not, but also jugding its condition to be classified into six types. To know whether its condition to be good or not, comparing and analyzing between two waveforms generated from master and test coil of throttle body. If test net area is below 20% of master area, the condition of test coil is good. By analyzing test coil waveform to master coil waveform, the condition of test coil into winding badness, insulation badness, layer and corona discharge, short badness should known. Therefore quality control system on electrical parts of throttle body should be developed.

In this paper we consider some properties of. bisector of interior angle(theorem 1) and exterior angle(theorem 2) in triangle by using analogy. As a result of analyzing various mathematics textbooks we have known that they focused not on relation between two theorems, but on describing two theorems. We have seen that theorem 2 is able to be inferred from theorem 1 by using analogy. After proving theorem 1 by some methods we analyze proof process, extract proof ideas, and analogize some ideas for proving theorem 2. From this we are able to find relationships between theorem 1 and 2.

By means of the transformation from the problem of fuzzy reliability to the problem of general reliability, a model for analyzing fuzzy reliability is introduced in this paper Because of the complexity of the Problem of the fuzzy reliability, generally speaking, the analytical equations for calculating fuzzy reliability indexes of machine part cannot be obtained in most cases. Therefore, in this paper, an approach is given wherein progressions are employed to calculate them, or a simulation approach is used to estimate them by expressing general reliability indexes as progressions. By utilizing the approach put forwards in the paper, the calculating quantity for analyzing the fuzzy reliability will be reduced : even substantially reduced sometimes. Some examples are taken to explain the feasibility of the model and a simulation approach.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between parameters affecting internal quality of watermelon and its acoustic characteristics. The measuring and analyzing system was established to study the acoustic characteristics of watermelon. Algorithms for analyzing sound signals were developed. Sound signals which was detected with the microphone were filtered, and their spectrum was computed by means of the Fast Fourier Transform. As watermelon changed from the unripe stage to ripe, acoustic waves in time domain became complicated, and several components appeared in frequency domain. The correlationship was investigated between some parameters affecting internal quality of the watermelon and several peak frequencies. Results indicated that weight, density and sugar content had high correlations with several frequencies(the first peak frequency, the second peak frequency, and the third peak frequency). And the sugar content and the volume of the watermelon were highly correlated with the third peak frequency.

This study is for the multi-dimensional analysis of diverse data sets for artificial reefs off the coast of Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan. Various data sets recorded in artificial reefs ground were integrated in new GIS software: to reveal the relationships between water temperature and fish schools; to visualize the quantitative connection between the reefs and the fish schools; and to compare the seabed types derived from two different data sources. The results obtained suggest that the application of GIS in analyzing multi-dimensional data is a better way to understand the characteristics of fish schools and environmental information around artificial reefs and particularly in the evaluation of the effectiveness of artificial reefs.

This study aimed to obtain basic data toward fostering understanding and interest in local foods, to the overall end of enhancing development and popularization of such foods. It also gives direction toward promotion of local food by researching attitudes toward local foods and viewpoints on requirements for improvement of such, among university students living in the Daegu-Kyungbuk area. The results of analyzing perceptional scores for native local foods in Kyungbuk by characteristics t showed statistically significant differences according to sex and duration of residence in Kyungbuk. Obstacles to the promotion of local foods include lack of marketing, lack of specialized restaurants, lack of knowledge, lack of menus, lack of generalization, and high price. The results of analyzing viewpoints on requirements for improved perception of local foods, there were statistically significant differences in active advertisement and marketing, diversity of local foods, and duration of dwelling.

Studies on cellular pathways and networks are now one of the most actively researched topics in all fields of biomedicine ranging from developmental biology to etiology. Many databases have been developed and quantitative simulation models have been proposed. One of the eventual goals of pathway/network studies is to integrate different types of pathway/network models and databases to simulate overall cellular responses. A bottleneck to this goal is modeling gene expression since the mechanism of this process is not yet fully unveiled. We are developing a small scale computer program called CiRMU (Cis-Regulatory Machinery Unit model) for describing, viewing, analyzing, and modeling the process of gene expression. A prototype system is being designed and implemented for analyzing functions of nuclear receptors.

Currently the problem of air pollution caused by the motor vehicle emission is one of the most serious problems to be solved. Thus we needed the vehicle emissions audit procedure and technical innovation constraining the motor vehicle emission. The Korean Environmental Protection Agency currently audits automobiles for emissions compliance at assembly plants with multiple attribute multiple staged sampling plans. In order to establish the more reasonable audit procedure, the multiple staged sampling plan designed in this paper has been applied to the domestic vehicles by analyzing the statistic characteristics of the emission distribution. This paper summarizes the auditing procedure and develops methods for determining its statistical characteristics. Specifically, we consider how to evaluate a multiple staged sampling plan, give a procedure that efficiently estimates attribute-type probabilities from multivariate variables-type data, and quantify the effect of tightening the acceptable quality level of the sampling plan. As a result it can be proved that this audit procedure is the reasonable plan minimizing the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and is to be used effectively for the auditing procedure constraining the injurious gasses of the motor vehicles.

In this paper, we propose a method to summarize the monthly traffic amount for analyzing network load in mobile communication system. We used the traffic data obtained from a domestic telecommunication company. Based on the statistical properties of the traffic data, we devise an efficient method to summarize monthly traffic amount.

Current interest in mathematics learning that focuses on understanding, mathematical reasoning and meaning making underscores the need to develop ways of analyzing classrooms that foster these types of learning. In this paper, the author show that the constructs of social and socio-mathematical norms, which grew out of taking a symbolic interactionist perspective, and Toulmins scheme for argumentation, as elaborated for mathematics education by Krummheuer [The ethnology of argumentation. In: The emergence of mathematical meaning: Interaction in classroom cultures (1995, pp. 229-269). Hillsdale, NJ: Erlbaum], provide us with means to analyze aspects of explanation, justification and argumentation in mathematics classrooms, including means through which they can be fostered. Examples from a variety of classrooms are used to clarify how these notions can inform instruction at all levels, from the elementary grades through university-level mathematics.
