A methadone-diazepam interaction study in rats was performed in which conjugated metabolites of methadone were analyzed using deuterated biosynthetic internal standards. Diazepam (5mg/kg) was given to rats through a cannulate djugular vein and a subcutaneous dose of methadone (10mg/kg) was given. Bile was collecte through the cannulate dbile duct over a period of 24 hours. The deuterium label of the internal standards was found to be stable under conditions of the prolonged incubation. There was no significant difference in the excretion of the metabolites between the control and the diazepam treated rats. Feasibility of using biosynthetic internal standards with selected ion monitoring was established for the drug metabolism and kinetic studies.

The required standards for environmental tests for communication and electronic equipment used currently are not standards into which the Korean climate and use environment are taken into consideration. But the most used environmental testing standards of the U.S. army(MIL-STD-810) has been used without taking into consideration the Korean domestic situation and conditions by simply translating the US standards. Adherence to these standards may increase in the manufacturing costs according to excessively strict standards. Therefore, this paper will propose a new environmental test standards for temperature.

This paper is based on a belief that, it is the simplest and best way measuring intangibles and knowledge assets on a monetary base, although there are many efforts to measure it. We analysis and compare with accounting, appraisal and valuation standards on Korean, USA and global level each. We conclude that valuation is appropriate for intangibles and knowledge assets, but we should check the standards of valuation on a social base in Korea.

Several seismic design standards for fill dams adopted in Japan USA and Korea are reviewed in this study. The review on those standards is tried to provide a thinking way for a new seismic design standard which is urgently requested by the government I. e. the Ministry of Construction & Transportation and the Ministry of Science & Techniology. This study suggest that as a new seismic design standard of fill dam including concrete face rockfill dam(CFRD) the modified earthquake intensity method based on dynamic analysis be adopted in Korea while the dynamic analysis method should be used in evaluatiing the performance of fill dams precisely.

Objectives South Korea's air quality standards are insufficient in terms of establishing a procedure for their management. The current system lacks a proper decision-making process and prior evidence is not considered. The purpose of this study is to propose a measure for establishing atmospheric environmental standards in South Korea that will take into consideration the health of its residents. Methods In this paper, the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) of the US was examined in order to suggest ways, which consider health effects, to establish air quality standards in South Korea. Up-to-date research on the health effects of air pollution was then reviewed, and tools were proposed to utilize the key results. This was done in an effort to ensure the reliability of the standards with regard to public health. Results This study showed that scientific research on the health effects of air pollution and the methodology used in the research have contributed significantly to establishing air quality standards. However, as the standards are legally binding, the procedure should take into account the effects on other sectors. Realistically speaking, it is impossible to establish standards that protect an entire population from air pollution. Instead, it is necessary to find a balance between what should be done and what can be done. Conclusions Therefore, establishing air quality standards should be done as part of an evidence-based policy that identifies the health effects of air pollution and takes into consideration political, economic, and social contexts.

The purpose of this study is to propose a method for analyzing suitable achievement standards for the nature of science curriculum. This can be done by introducing various analysis methods, as well as using practical examples to analyze the achievement standards that are the starting point for teaching and learning in the 2015 revised curriculum. In this paper, three methods are shown: ① the method suggested by the Gyeonggido Office of Education, ② the method using understanding verbs of backward design, ③ the method using Bloom's revised taxonomy. In addition, we propose a method to analyze the achievement standards of science curriculum utilizing the characteristics of science curriculum. This method takes advantage of the above three analysis methods. After separating the content and performance verbs, subdividing the performance verbs into the performance verbs of six aspects of understanding and restatement of the achievement standards, the restatement of achievement standards enabled the analysis of in-depth achievement standards by linking to a process-focused assessment plan considering the level of thinking by utilizing the two-dimensional framework of Bloom's revised taxonomy. Through this study, I hope that elementary school teachers will develop meaningful teaching and learning methods that utilize the essence of the subject through in-depth analysis of the achievement standards of science as a subject.

The Rural Housing Standard Plans for improving the quality of life and housing stability in rural areas has been developed 87 types from 1994 to 2012. However, some types of Plans do not satisfy the current legal standard in accordance with social and legal changes. Standard plans has the same effect as a building permit, and replace it, so legal suitability of Plans is an important. Therefore, it is required the suitability analysis on the legal standards of Rural Housing Standard Plans. The Purpose of this study is to derive improper types and items of the Rural Housing Standard Plans on the legal standards. In this study, we analyzed its suitability on the legal standards(law on fire-fighting system installation and safety management, energy saving design criteria for buildings, structural checklist for small buildings, the types of drawing for building permit) in accordance with "rules for the operation of standard plans". And we analyzed the utilization of the Rural Housing Standard Plans through downloads from welchon portal.
