하천폭의 국부적 축소 및 확대에 따른 수리특성 연구 (A Study of the Stream Specific by River Width's Downsizing & Extension)

  • This research investigated the way of generating the flowing of water in case of artificial fluctuation of river width by the unidimensional numerical analysis in order to reconstruct vertical and expanse features of flowing, and the problem of existing numerical analysis in accordance with local enlargement and reduction of river through hydraulic model experiments with results of numerical analysis. The result revealed that when the local section change in the same river is exist, it showed 0.93m in the case of no change of local section in the hydraulic model experiments and numerical analysis, however, it presented 1.645m on the occasion of local section changes in the hydraulic model experiments and numerical analysis. In other words, there was a significant difference in the existing numerical analysis, when there was a local section change. As a result of the experimental section for the enlargement and reduction of local river width, due to the sensitive change for fluctuation of flood discharge, there was a significant difference between numerical analysis and hydraulic model experiments. In addition, the result of comparison between the enlargement and reduction of local river width confirmed that the result of numerical analysis with hydraulic model experiments showed larger generation of deviation in case of enlargement of section than in case of reduction of section.

  • In this paper, cyclic plasticity model of SM490 TMC was formulated by basing on monotonic loading test and cyclic loading test. For exact description of cyclic performance and plastic deformation capacity of steel member using SM490 TMC, formulated cyclic plasticity model and finite deformation theory were applied to 3-dimensional elastic-plastic FE analysis. Cyclic plastic behavior of pipe-section steel column using SM490 TMC was clarified by carrying out numerical analysis. Also, in order to clarifying seismic performance of pipe-section steel column using SM490 TMC, analysis results were compared with analysis results of pipe-section steel column using SM490. A comparison of analysis results shows that SM490 TMC pipe-section steel column has a better cyclic performance for strength and energy dissipation than SM490 pipe-section steel column under cyclic loading

DHMM과 어휘해석을 이용한 Voice dialing 시스템 (The Voice Dialing System Using Dynamic Hidden Markov Models and Lexical Analysis)

  • In this paper, Korean spoken continuous digits are ercognized using DHMM(Dynamic Hidden Markov Model) and lexical analysis to provide the base of developing voice dialing system. After segmentation by phoneme unit, it is recognized. This system can be divided into the segmentation section, the design of standard speech section, the recognition section, and the lexical analysis section. In the segmentation section, it is segmented using the ZCR, O order LPC cepstrum, and Ai, parameter of voice speech dectaction, which is changed according to time. In the standard speech design section, 19 phonemes or syllables are trained by DHMM and designed as a standard speech. In the recognition section, phomeme stream are recognized by the Viterbi algorithm.In the lexical decoder section, finally recognized continuous digits are outputed. This experiment shiwed the recognition rate of 85.1% using data spoken 7 times of 21 classes of 7 continuous digits which are combinated all of the occurence, spoken by 10 man.

  • PSC box bridge by MSS construction method may not be set at cross section at one step. Web and bottom flange(U member) would be set at first, top flange will be set later with a time lag. In this case, U member and top flange concrete have different strain history. As two different aged section behaves as the composite section, there would happen the redistribution of stress. This is come from time-dependent strain characteristics of concrete itself. In this study, two models are considered, one with considering the set time of cross section and the other without. By performing longitudinal analysis of two models on considering construction stage, the stress differences of two are compared. As the analysis results show a considerable differences in the stresses of cross section between two models, the set time of cross section is needed for rational design f PSC box girder bridge.

충돌성능을 고려한 승용차 범퍼빔 단면의 최적화 (Optimization of Bumper Beam Section of Crashworthiness)

  • Optimum design of bumper beam is investigated using nonlinear CAE structural analysis techniques.In order to minimize its weight, while enhancing structural performances, bumper beam structural analyses were carried out to produce optimum section. Model is composed of bumper beam and stay. First, considering FMVSS safety standard, static strength and energy absorbing capability were estimated for several competitive bumpers through pendulum static analysis, and most promising section was chosen. Next, to ensure dynamic crashworthinesss performance for center pole impact was evaluated for the bumper beam with chosen section through pendulum static analysis, referring to DHS bumper dynamic impact standard. Finally, 2.5 mph bumper beam was designed and its structural performance was estimated. Through this investigation, an optimized bumper beam section with less weight of 20% while maintaining almost equal carshworthiness, compared with a conventional bumper beam section which proved its impact crashworthiness by experiments, was developed.

SI기법을 이용한 변단면 PSC 거더의 층상화 단면해석 (Layered Section Analysis for PSC Girder with Variable Cross Section Using SI Technique)

  • 본 연구는 곡선배치 텐던을 갖는 변단면 PSC의 전단을 고려한 층상화 단면해석기술을 소개한다. 곡선배치 텐던의 전단평형을 고려하기 위해서, 각 층상화 단면에서 전단응력을 직접 산출 할 수 있는 새로운 방법과 각 층상화 단면의 변형률 산정시 기존의 반복법보다 수렴 속도가 효율적인 시스템인식기법을 적용하였다. 제안기법은 변단면 PSC보의 정재하실험 결과와 비교분석 되었으며, 추정된 구조응답과 실험결과가 잘 일치하고 있다. 또한, 동일 조건에서 변단면 PSC보와 균등단면 PSC보의 거동특성이 비교분석되었다. 분석결과을 살펴보면, 휨강성은 변단면과 균등단면이 동일하지만, 전단강성은 변단면이 균등단면 보다 크다. 더욱이, 변단면의 자중이 균등단면보다 크지만 변단면의 최대처짐이 균등단면 보다 작다.

  • The kinematically admissible velocity field is developed for the analysis of extruded products. The curving of product in extrusion is caused by the linearly distributed longitudinal velocity on the cross-section of the workpiece at the die exit. In the analysis, the longitudinal velocity in extrusion direction is divided into the uniform velocity and the deviated velocity. In order to satisfy the requrement of the kinematically admissible velocity field, the average value of the deviated velocity should be zero. At the same time, it should linearly change with the distance form the center of gravity of the cross-section of the workpiece. The results of the analysis show that the curvature of product increses with increses in eccentricity of gravity center of the cross-section of workpiece at die entrance form that of the cross-section at the die exit. In the analysis, the longitudinal velocity in extrusion direction is divided into the uniform velocity and the deviated velocity. In order to satisfy the requrement of the kinematically admissible velocity field, the average value of the deviated velocity should be zero. At the same time, it should linearly change with the distance from the center of gravity of the cross-section of the workpiece. Numerical method for biaxially loaded reinforced and prestressed concrete slender columns with arbitrary section

  • In this study, a numerical procedure based on the finite element method for materially and geometrically nonlinear analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete slender columns with arbitrary section subjected to combined biaxial bending and axial load is developed. In order to overcome the low computer efficiency of the conventional section integration method in which the reinforced concrete section is divided into a large number of small areas, an efficient section integration method is used to determine the section tangent stiffness. In this method, the arbitrary shaped cross section is divided into several concrete trapezoids according to boundary vertices, and the contribution of each trapezoid to section stiffness is determined by integrating directly the trapezoid. The space frame flexural theory is utilized to derive the element tangent stiffness matrix. The nonlinear full-range member response is traced by an updated normal plane arc-length solution method. The analytical results agree well with the experimental ones.

판별분석을 이용한 고속도로 교량영향권역 교통사고 특성분석에 관한 연구 (Crash Characteristics within the Bridge Influence Area of Expressway Using the Discriminant Analysis)

  • PURPOSES : The bridge section of the expressway has a worse driving environment than the general section. However, traffic safety countermeasures are focused only on the bridge section. Traffic safety countermeasures on the section before entry to the bridge and the section after exit from the bridge are applied only when the bridge has a long-span section. Accordingly, this study will verify the necessity of extending the application of traffic safety countermeasures to areas that are affected by the bridge. METHODS : This study determines the areas that are affected by the bridge as well as the areas that are affected by locations with frequent traffic accidents and suggests the risk factors by affected areas through canonical discriminant analysis. For the analysis, traffic accident data for 3 years, which occurred on bridge sections in six major expressway lines, were used. RESULTS : The numbers of traffic accidents were 469 before the bridge, 281 on the bridge, and 468 after the bridge. The variables that have impact on the seriousness of accidents are as follows: speeding, excess manipulation of the steering wheel, and failure to secure safety distance for accidents that occurred before the bridge section; speeding, excess manipulation of the steering wheel, and dozing off for accidents that occurred on the bridge; and speeding and failure to secure safety distance for accidents that occurred after the bridge section. CONCLUSIONS : Areas affected by the bridge show higher accident rates than the bridge section; therefore, imposing traffic safety countermeasures on the integrated section of the bridge and the affected areas is required. It is believed that the results suggested in this study could be effectively used in the prevention of traffic accidents by imposing custom-made safety countermeasures for each section.

ICA와 DNN을 이용한 방송 드라마 콘텐츠에서 음악구간 검출 성능 (Performance of music section detection in broadcast drama contents using independent component analysis and deep neural networks)

  • We propose to use independent component analysis (ICA) and deep neural network (DNN) to detect music sections in broadcast drama contents. Drama contents mainly comprise silence, noise, speech, music, and mixed (speech+music) sections. The silence section is detected by signal activity detection. To detect the music section, we train noise, speech, music, and mixed models with DNN. In computer experiments, we used the MUSAN corpus for training the acoustic model, and conducted an experiment using 3 hours' worth of Korean drama contents. As the mixed section includes music signals, it was regarded as a music section. The segmentation error rate (SER) of music section detection was observed to be 19.0%. In addition, when stereo mixed signals were separated into music signals using ICA, the SER was reduced to 11.8%.
