단기간의 크레아틴 섭취가 태권도 선수의 발차기 횟수, 혈장요소 및 무산소성 파워에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Short Term Creatine Loading on Repeated Bouts of Kicking, Plasma Components and Anaerobic power in Taekwondo player)

  • 본 연구는 Cr 투여가 태권도 선수들에게 발차기 횟수, 혈장요소 및 무산소성 파워에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 남자 고등학교 태권도 선수를 대상으로 위약집단(n=9명), Cr 투여집단(n=9명)으로 구분하여 Cr을 투여한 결과 Cr 투여집단에서만 발차기 횟수, 혈장효소, 무산소성 파워(평균파워, 최대파워)에서 각각 유의하게 증가하였다. 이러한 결과들은 Cr 투여가 태권도 선수들에게 있어서 효과적인 영양 보조물 방법이고, 단기간의 Cr 투여로도 발차기 횟수의 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

표준화된 인삼추출물과 운동훈련이 사람의 호기적 및 혐기적 운동능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Standardized Ginseng Extract and Exercise Training on Aerobic and Anaerobic Exercise Capacities in Humans)

  • This study was undertaken to determine whether administration of a standardized gindeng extract at 300 mg.$d^1$ for 8 weeks could enhance maximum aerobic and anaerobic exercise capabilities and whether any changes of such effects can be occurred when exercise training was added. Forty-one male university students were randomly divided into four groups as ginseng-untrained (GU, n=10), ginseng-trained (GT, n=10), placebo-untrained (PU, n=10), and placebo-trained (PT, n=11). The trained groups underwent 8 weeks of aerobic exercise at 65% of individual's maximum oxygen consumption ($Vo_2$ max) for 30 min.$d^1$, 3d.$wk^1$. Prior to and at the end of experiment, $Vo_2$ max, anaerobic power (AP), anaerobic capacity (AC), and leg muscle strength were determined and some physiological parameters related to $Vo_2$ max were measured. Initially, all subject groups did not differ in average $Vo_2$ max (range 45.9 to 47.9 ml/.kg-1.min-1). After 8 weeks, the $Vo_2$ max increased significantly from the initial level by 12.6% in group GU, 14.5% in group PT, and 24.5% in group GU which was significantly higher than group GU but not group PT. Changes in all measured parameters related to $Vo_2$ max were similar among the subject groups except group PU. Both the AP and the AC were significantly increased in all subject groups (range +3.6 to +13.1% above initial for the AP and +4.4 to) 8.955 above initial for the AC) but the higher changes were found for the AP in groups PT and GU, and for the AC in grouts PT, when compared with group PU. No significant differences in the two anaerobic variables were observed between group GT and the other groups of subjects. Leg strength was also significantly enhanced over group PU in groups PT, GU and GT. There were no significant differences among the latter three subject groups. As a result of these findings, it was concluded that under the conditions of this study ginseng administration at the prescribed dose exhibited the training-like effects on $Vo_2$ max as well as anaerobic power and leg muscle strength but no clear synergistic action on these physical fitness variables occurred when both g inseng administration and exercise training were combined.

사상체질과 ACE 유전자 다형성 분류에 따른 유·무산소성 능력비교 (Comparison of Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity between Sasang Consititutions and ACE Gene Polymorphismn)

  • Purpose. This study of purpose was to to compare of Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity between Sasang Constitutions and ACE Gene Polymorphism. Methods. 24 healthy males were participated in this experiment who were in their twenties and had no disease, then they were divided by ACE type and by Sasang constitutions with QSCC II. According to these group, the body compositon, Aerobic capacity including VO2max, Anaerobic Capacity were measured. Results. In this study, According to ACE type, ID type were 8, II were 8 and DD type were 8 persons. According to ACE type, there were significant difference among type, especially, II, ID type more than DD. II type is more higher than any type and DD type is lower in the ratio of Blood Lactic recovery. DD type was more excellent than other type in Anaerobic power. According to Sasang Constitutions, there were 8 SoYang, 5 Taeum, 11 Soeum and then no TaeYang constitution. In Aerobic capacity, Taeum constitution had significantly high means and Anaerobic threshold. In the ratio of Blood lactic recovery, Taeum constitution was excellent and SoYang had poor recovery capacity. SoYang had more excellent than other constitution significantly in Anaerobic capacity. Comparing ACE type with Sasang constitution, Soyang constitution included 4 ID types, Taeum inclued 2 II types and 2 ID types then Soeum included 6 DD types. Compared of Aerobic and Anaerobic capacity between Sasang constitutions and ACE type, Soyang constitutions were similar to ID type, Taeum similar to II type and ID type and then Soeum were DD type. Conclusions. This study had made it clear that there were similar feature between ACE type and Sasang constitutions. Also it's possible to predict the Aerobic capacity that may be foreseen by ACE type with Sasang questionnaire method but not Anaerobic capacity.

Bioelectrochemical Denitrification by Pseudomonas sp. or Anaerobic Bacterial Consortium

  • In a bacterial denitrification test with Pseudomonas sp. and anaerobic consortium, more nitrates and less substrate were consumed but less metabolic nitrite was produced under an anaerobic $H_2$ condition rather than under $N_2$ condition. In a bioelectrochemical denitrification test with the same organisms, the electrochemically reduced neutral red was confirmed to be a substitute electron donor and a reducing power like $H_2$. The biocatalytic activity of membrane-free bacterial extract, membrane fraction, and intact cell for bioelectrochemical denitrification was measured using cyclic voltammetry. When neutral red was used as an electron mediator, the electron transfer from electrode to electron acceptor (nitrate) via neutral red was not observed in the cyclic voltammogram with the membrane-free bacterial extract, but it was confirmed to gradually increase in proportion to the concentration of nitrate in that of the membrane fraction and the intact cell of Pseudomonas sp.

고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램이 카누선수의 심폐기능, 체간 등속성 근력과 무산소성 파워에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of High-intensity Combined Training Program on Cardiorespiratory Function, Isokinetic Trunk Strength and Anaerobic Power of Canoe Athletes)

  • 본 연구는 6주간의 고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램을 통해 카누 선수의 심폐기능(Cardiorespiratory Function), 체간 등속성 근력(Isokinetic Trunk Strength) 그리고 무산소성 파워(Anaerobic Power)에 미치는 영향을 확인하는데 있다. 이를 위해 고등학교 카누 선수 9명을 대상으로 고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램을 적용하였으며, 고강도 훈련 프로그램은 주 2회의 유산소 운동(화, 목), 주 3회의 무산소 운동(월, 수, 금) 그리고 주 5회의 유연성 운동을 실시하였다. 고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램의 핵심은 무산소성 훈련 프로그램으로 기존 1RM의 퍼센트(%)를 나누어 훈련하던 방식과는 달리 횟수에 대한 100%의 중량을 가지고 하는 훈련이며, 유산소성 운동과 짐볼운동은 보조적인 개념으로 실시하였다. 연구결과, 고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램에 따른 신체구성에서 신장과 근육량은 통계적으로 의한 차이가 있었으며, 체중, 체지방율, BMI는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 심폐기능의 경우, 최대산소섭취량과 총 운동시간은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 체간 등속성 근력의 경우, 각속도 30°/sec에서는 Flexors 운동시 Peak Torque 항목에서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 각속도 120°/sec에서는 Extensors 운동시 Total Work 항목에서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 무산소성 파워의 경우, Peak Power, Average Power, Peak Drop의 모든 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 심폐기능에서는 유의한 개선효과가 있었지만 체간 등속성 근력과 무산소성 파워 항목에서 증가하는 경향은 있었지만 통계적인 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 선수 개개인의 근력과 파워가 개선되는 경향이 나타난 것을 고려하면 훈련기간을 6주 이상으로 구성하고 사례수가 보강된다면 체계적인 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서 적용한 고강도 복합 훈련 프로그램은 카누 선수들의 경기력 향상 효과를 기대할 수 있는 훈련 프로그램으로 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

무산소성 운동이 경력별 레슬링 선수의 피로물질 및 기초체력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Anaerobic Exercise on Fatigue Material and Basic Fitness of Career Wrestlers)

  • 본 논문은 경력별 레슬링선수들을 대상으로 최대무산소성 운동 후 회복과정과 기초체력을 알아보기 위한 실험이다. 첫째, 무산소 파워 테스트에서 집단 및 시기별 결과는 PP, MP, LP 영역에서 집단간 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 혈중 글루코스는 시기별 결과 경력 5년차 레슬링 선수집단에서 유의한 차가 나타났다(p<.001). 셋째, 혈중 젖산농도는 시기별 결과 경력 5년, 10년, 15년 모두 나타났다(p<.001). 넷째, 사이드스텝과 전신반응은 세 집단 모두 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 무산소성 운동 후 선수들의 경기력에 영향을 미치는 무산소 파워, 글루코스, 젖산, 기초체력반응 변화에서 증가와 감소를 나타내고 유의한 차이도 보였다. 그리고 경력에 상관없이 피로회복도에서는 모두 유의한 차이를 보였다. 기초 체력반응에서는 경력 10년 선수집단이 우수한 것으로 생각된다. 그리고 파워 테스트와 글쿠코스 변인에서는 경력 5년차 선수집단이 우수한 것으로 생각된다. 피로도에서도 경력 15년차 선수집단에서 회복능력이 떨어지는 것은 경력과 연령에서의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

연료전지에의 적용을 위한 혐기성 소화가스의 정제, 고질화 및 메탄개질 기술 (Process Technologies of Reforming, Upgrading and Purification of Anaerobic Digestion Gas for Fuel Cells)

  • Biogas is a renewable fuel from anaerobic digestion of organic matters such as sewage sludge, manure and food waste. Raw biogas consists mainly of methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and water. Biogas may also contain other impurities such as siloxanes, halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons. Efficient power technologies such as fuel cell demand ultra-low concentration of containments in the biogas feed, imposing stringent requirements on fuel purification technology. Biogas is upgraded from pressure swing adsorption after biogas purification process which consists of water, $H_2S$ and siloxane removal. A polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell power plant is designed to operate on reformate produced from upgraded biogas by steam reformer.

Differences in Rectus Femoris Activation Among Skaters Wearing Fabric Speed Skating Suits with Different Levels of Compression

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate how different levels of compression exerted on the femoral region (known as the power zone) by coated fabric influences the activation and anaerobic capacity of the rectus femoris. Method: Three different levels of compression on the rectus femoris of the participants, namely 0% (normal condition), 9% (downsize), and 18% (downsize), were tested. The material of the fabric used in this study was nonfunctional polyurethane. Surface electromyography test was used to investigate the activation of the rectus femoris, while the isokinetic test (Cybex, $60^{\circ}/sec$) and Wingate test were used to investigate the maximum anaerobic power. Results: The different compression levels (0%, 9%, and 18%) did not improve the strength and anaerobic capacity of the knee extensor. However, knee flexor interfered with activation of the biceps femoris, which is an agonist for flexion, during 18% compression. Conclusion: Compression garments might improve the stretch shortening cycle effect at the time of eccentric contraction and during transition from eccentric to concentric contraction. Therefore, future studies are required to further investigate these findings.

Analysis of the characteristics of mouthguards that affect isokinetic muscular ability and anaerobic power

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to estimate the effects of occlusal stability to identify action mechanisms of mouthguards, known to have a modulatory effect on limb muscle function. MATERIALS AND METHODS. This study included 20 male subjects to perform the isokinetic muscle tests and the Wingate anaerobic power test on both knee joints under five closed-mouth conditions: without or with 4 types of mouthguards with thickness of 2 mm based on premolar area: (1) full-coverage, (2) anterior partial-coverage, (3) right posterior partial-coverage, and (4) left posterior partial-coverage. The obtained results were subjected to One-way ANOVA with repeated measures, followed by post hoc test of the contrast method (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. There was no significant difference between the closed position with and without a full-coverage mouthguard in all variables. However, significant differences were observed between with and without a partial-coverage mouthguard in muscular endurance during extension of the left knee, muscular power and endurance during flexion of the right knee. Additionally, significant differences were found between occlusal states with full- and partial-coverage mouthguards in muscular power and endurance during extension of the left knee. CONCLUSION. These findings indicate the elevation of vertical dimension by 2 mm or the inducement of occlusal stability had little effect on isokinetic muscle strength and anaerobic performance, while uneven distribution of occlusal force might have some positive effects.

사이클 선수의 하지근력균형이 무산소성 페달링 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Muscle Balance in Lower Limb on Anaerobic Pedaling Capacity among Elite Cyclists)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 사이클 선수를 대상으로 슬관절 등속성 근기능의 좌 우측 불균형이 무산소성 페달링 파워 관련 변인에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다. 슬관절 등속성 근력 기준으로 비주측과 주측의 근력균형지수가 매우 균형적인 집단(High Symmetry Group, HSG), 적정수준의 집단(Moderate Symmetry Group, MSG), 불균형이 존재하는 집단(Asymmetry Group, AG)으로 분류하여 페달링 기능을 비교하였다. 그 결과 신근력의 비주측과 주측의 근력 불균형은 페달링 기능의 집단 간 차이점이 없었다. 한편, 굴근력의 비주측과 주측 근력균형지수의 불균형은 무산소성 페달링 파워 관련 변인에서 집단 간 차이점이 미세하게 존재하였지만, 페달링 기능에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 수준은 아닌 것으로 판단된다. 그러므로 좌 우측 근기능이 거의 동일하게 적용되는 사이클 선수에게도 근력 불균형이 존재하였으나, 이러한 불균형이 페달링 기능에 부정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 판단된다.
