A study for replacing methylene chloride for an alternative cleaning agent which can be utilized for cleaning aluminium parts of hard disk drives was carried out at Suwon factory of Samsung Electro-mechanics Co. Ltd. As a result, quite a good cleaning agent was selected through data collection of alternative cleaning agents, their analysis of environment effects and safty factors and testing of their cleaning power. As compared with methylene chloride, the selected cleaning agent has better cleaning power. It is also more environmental-friendly, less toxic and more economical. And the operating cost reduction due to adoption of this alternative cleaning agent in Samsung Electro-mechanics Co. Ltd. was more than ￦l46,000,000 annually without any capital instrument in addition to improvement of environmental and safty conditions in the plant.

The purpose of this paper is to increase the competitiveness of firms by establishment of green marketing strategy and its application to a new alternative energy development, ultimately contributing to the advancement of national economy. This study adopted an integrated approach to develop a strategic theory of 'Sun Tzu on the Art of War' that is one of the oldest military treaties and still applicable to today's management development. It applies to the empirical result from a new alternative energy development. For more qualitative improvement of this paper, it needs further detailed studies in both theory and practice in green marketing theory that is applicable to the new alternative energy development.

본 연구는 다기준 의사결정 문제에서 항상 발생하는 가중치와 대안들의 평가치에 대한 불확실성을 최소화하기 위해 민감도 분석을 수행하는 절차를 제시하였다. 제기되는 가중치에 대한 불확실성을 극복하기 위해 일반적으로 순위가 뒤바뀔 수 있는 가장 민감한 평가기준의 결정과 대안의 효과 측정자료의 결정이 있다. 본 연구는 유량확보와 수질개선을 위한 수자원 계획수립을 위해가중합계법을 이용한 문제에 두 경우의 민감도분석을 모두수행하였다. 이 과정에서 결정계수와 민감도 계수를 산정하여 이용하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 민감도 분석 과정은 향후 수자원 계획 수립에 폭넓게 활용될 수 있다.

금속세정은 제품의 품질향상은 물론 후속공정에도 지대한 영향을 미친다. 그러나 이러한 세정공정은 환경적으로 많은 유해성을 내포하고 있기 때문에 개선해야될 여러 문제점들을 가지고 있고 게다가 전지구적으로 세정제로 인한 규제가 강화되고 있으므로 기존의 염소계세정제를 대체할 수 있는 대체세정제의 개발과 이와 연관된 세정공정의 개발이 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 최적의 대체세정제를 선정하기 위하여 고려해야되는 인자들을 분류하였고 세정공정에 적용된 개선사례들을 통하여 결과를 분석하고 개선점을 모색함으로써 세정공정에서의 청정기술적 접근방법을 제시하였다.

Cyberbullying has been an emerging issue in recent years where research has revealed that users generally spend an increasing amount of time in social networks and forums to keep connected with each other. However, issue arises when cyberbullies are able to reach their victims through these social media platforms. There are different types of cyberbullying and like traditional bullying; it causes victims to feel overly selfconscious, increases their tendency to self-harm and generally affects their mental state negatively. Such situations occur due to security issues such as user anonymity and the lack of content restrictions in some social networks or web forums. In this paper, we highlight the existing solutions, which are Intrusion Prevention System and Intrusion Detection System from a number of researchers. However, even with such solutions, cyberbullying acts still occurs at an alarming rate. As such, we proposed an alternative solution that aims to prevent cyberbullying activities at a younger age, e.g., young children. The application would provide an alternative method to preventing cyberbullying activities among the younger generations in the future.

Treatments for asthma are largely pharmaceutical, with some therapies also utilising alternative breathing techniques. The objective of both medical and alternative methods is to relax contracted airway smooth muscle (ASM). In normal subjects, tidal breathing- and deep inspiration-oscillations are believed to have a bronchodilatory effect. Similarly, application of length oscillations to isolated, contracted ASM also elicits muscle relaxation. As a means of investigating more-effective alternative treatment methods for contracted airways, we analyse the combined effects of bronchodilators and length oscillations on isolated, contracted ASM. The contractile state of the muscle tissue prior to treatment is of primary interest. Thereafter, the effect of applying a combination of small superimposed length oscillations with tidal breathing-like oscillations to ASM is studied alone and in combination with a common bronchodilator, isoproterenol (ISO). This work suggests that relaxation of isolated, contracted ASM following application of combined oscillations and ISO is larger than treatments of either combined oscillations or ISO alone. Further, the observed oscillation-associated relaxation is found to be amplitude- rather than frequency-dependent. This study gives additional insight into the role of oscillations and bronchodilators on contracted airways.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a fundamental reference for the clinical implementation of Complementary and Alternative Therapy(CAT) by surveying and analyzing different perception and attitude between nurses and physicians. Method: A total of 167 nurses and 103 physicians from two C university health science centers participated in this survey, and SPSS program with version 10.0 was used to analyze the result of survey. Result: As results, 72.7% nurses and 57.1% physicians showed positive attitude for the concept of CAT, 60.6% nurses and 36.7% physicians responded positively while 2.6% nurses and 25.9% physicians responded negatively for the application of CAT to the clinical practice. There was a meaningful difference between two groups in the belief of therapeutic effectiveness of CAT. 67.7% nurses believed the therapeutic effectiveness of CAT while 38.8% physicians did. For attitudes of nurses and physicians toward CAT showed meaningful difference according to general characteristics: age, gender, marital status, a level of education, position in the organization, religion, and duration of health care service other than inpatient units. Conclusion: In this study, the attitudes of nurses and physicians about CAT showed meaningful difference that nurses were more positive than physicians in application.

Purpose: This study was done to investigate the application of complementary and alternative therapies (CAT) in patients with chronic liver disease. and to analyze the Influence of health locus of control (HLOC) on CAT. Method: Questionnaires on CAT and a multidimensional health locus of control (MHLOC) scale developed by Wallston and Wallston were completed by 141 patients. Result: Analysis showed that 44.7% of the patients had experience with CAT and 49.2% of the patients reported being willing to use CAT. Reliability scores for the scale were HLOC-I 0.7376, HLOC-P 0.6383, HLOC-C 0.7351. The mean scores for the HLOC were HLOC-I 24.86, HLOC-P 22.86, HLOC-C 16.00. There were no significant differences in mean scores for HLOC between the patients who had used CAT and those who had not. Eight response Patterns for HLOC were identified. Among them, 'yea sayer' was the largest group (27.0%). A significant difference was found in the 'yea sayer' pattern between the group who had used CAT and the group who had not. Conclusion: CAT relates to various cognitive factors such as HLOC. Further study is needed to examine the influence of HLOC on CAT and its response patterns.

Transmission pricing is one of important issues related to competitive electricity markets since rational pricing scheme ensures a fair competition between the market participants. Any application of marginal pricing method to transmission pricing may accompany revenue reconciliation to recover Transco's revenue requirements. This paper presents an alternative methodology on revenue reconciliation with customer benefit function and power flow.

Animal waste is a major agricultural waste or wastewater that requires appropriate treatment to prevent environmental pollution. In this presentation, it is examined if incineration of manure compost is an alternative to treatment of animal waste. Heating values of selected biomass including manure compost were obtained using a bomb calorimeter. Based on heating values of manure and manure compost, ranging from 1200 - 1500 kcal/kg on wet base, incineration could be an alternative for animal waste treatment if available land is limited for land application and sufficient reduction of water content in manure compost.
