본 논문에서는 일반 영상의 가우시안 잡음 제거에 유용한 Non-Local Means 필터를 이용하여 웨이블렛 도메인 상에서 SAR 영상의 스펙클 잡음제거 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 먼저 승법 잡음인 스펙클 잡음을 로그를 취해 가법 잡음으로 변환한 후 웨이블렛 분해하고 고주파 혹은 저주파 서브밴드에 따라 Non-Local Means 필터와 웨이블렛 임계값 처리(wavelet thresholding)를 선택적으로 적용하고 지수형태를 취해 원영상으로 복원함으로서 잡음을 제거한다. 또한, Non-Local Means 필터의 단점인 수행시간을 단축시키기 위해 통계적 t-검정을 이용하여 개선하고자 한다. 영상실험을 통한 성능평가 결과 제안된 필터는 정성적인 비교와 PSNR과 DSSIM을 통한 정량적인 비교 모두 기존의 필터보다 우수한 성능을 보였다. 통계적 t-검정을 이용해 개선된 방법은 빠른 계산 속도와 더 나은 성능을 나타냈다.

There are some considerations that must take into account in environmental education in the aspect of the difference of value clarification between ecological and economic viewpoint on environment. Although we have a tendency to think that the differences are unavoidable because we are on the economy-oriented life, we should realize that such emphasis to economics comes from the differences between ecological and economic view point on environment. We have lived and thought on the basis of Economic view point, especially, environmental policies are established on the basis of economic efficiency. But this tendency has become great obstacles to environmental ethics education because it dilutes the reason of natural preservation and removes the fundamental reasons why the nature should be preserved. Therefore it is very difficult to balance the value clarification between economic and ecological viewpoint in actual life. Furthermore, environmental problems can not be solved only through economic approach, because of their limits to belief solving from providing incentives. It is very important to make people have a way of thinking which economic activities and debates can be made on the ecological resources. Therefore we can compare this relation to CHAE-YONG founded on Buddism and Chinese philosophy. CHAE means essence of every reaction in the cosmos, and YONG means the reaction itself. CHAE is regarded to ecological resources, and YONG is thought to every-day economic activities. YONG is not able to existwithout CHAE. If economic activities can be done on the basic limit of ecological resources, we can build suitable environment to living condition. We call this appropriate environment as SANG. In other words, the connection of CHAE-YONG-SANG means ecological resources - economic activities - sustainable environment. It is realized that the relations between economics and ecology should be equalized for the balanced environmental ethics education. This study tries to get out of unbalanced relations between economics and ecology from the persepectives of CHAE-YONG-SANG and it was done to suggest an alternative environmental ethics education program

효율적인 자원공유 및 동적인 시스템구성을 위한 지능형 분산 접근방식에서 주로 멀티에이전트 시스템을 사용한다. 또한 객체중복은 고장허용시스템을 구축하여 시스템에 예기치 않은 결함의 문제를 해결하기 위해 흔히 사용된다. 본 논문은 동적인 객체그룹관리에 기반한 지능형 멀티에이전트 분산플랫폼을 제시하고, 제안한 filtered k-means (Fk-means)를 기반으로 하여 객체검색기법을 제시한다. 객체 결함의 경우에, 대체 객체를 검색하여 클라이언트에게 적절한 객체를 투명하게 재 연결 시켜주기 위해 Fk-means를 사용한다. 검색방법을 효율적으로 수행하고, 그룹 내의 적절한 객체를 포함시키기 위해 Fk-means의 여과 범위를 설정한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안한 기법이 분산객체그룹에 대해 빠르고 정확한 검색을 나타내었다.

The group formation problem of the machine and part is a critical issue in the planning stage of cellular manufacturing systems. The machine-part grouping with alternative process plans means to form machine-part groupings in which a part may be processed not only by a specific process but by many alternative processes. For this problem, this study presents an algorithm based on self organizing neural networks, so called SOM (Self Organizing feature Map). The SOM, a special type of neural networks is an intelligent tool for grouping machines and parts in group formation problem of the machine and part. SOM can learn from complex, multi-dimensional data and transform them into visually decipherable clusters. In the proposed algorithm, output layer in SOM network had been set as one-dimensional structure and the number of output node has been set sufficiently large in order to spread out the input vectors in the order of similarity. In the first stage of the proposed algorithm, SOM has been applied twice to form an initial machine-process group. In the second stage, grouping efficacy is considered to transform the initial machine-process group into a final machine-process group and a final machine-part group. The proposed algorithm was tested on well-known machine-part grouping problems with alternative process plans. The results of this computational study demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm can be easily applied to the group formation problem compared to other meta-heuristic based algorithms. In addition, it can be used to solve large-scale group formation problems.

Treatments for asthma are largely pharmaceutical, with some therapies also utilising alternative breathing techniques. The objective of both medical and alternative methods is to relax contracted airway smooth muscle (ASM). In normal subjects, tidal breathing- and deep inspiration-oscillations are believed to have a bronchodilatory effect. Similarly, application of length oscillations to isolated, contracted ASM also elicits muscle relaxation. As a means of investigating more-effective alternative treatment methods for contracted airways, we analyse the combined effects of bronchodilators and length oscillations on isolated, contracted ASM. The contractile state of the muscle tissue prior to treatment is of primary interest. Thereafter, the effect of applying a combination of small superimposed length oscillations with tidal breathing-like oscillations to ASM is studied alone and in combination with a common bronchodilator, isoproterenol (ISO). This work suggests that relaxation of isolated, contracted ASM following application of combined oscillations and ISO is larger than treatments of either combined oscillations or ISO alone. Further, the observed oscillation-associated relaxation is found to be amplitude- rather than frequency-dependent. This study gives additional insight into the role of oscillations and bronchodilators on contracted airways.

The article examines the attempts made at economic revitalisation of Ljubljana's inner city and the consequences or "collateral damage" of this process. A lot of attention is given to the wider socio-cultural context, in which art istic practices are embedded in the city, and to the Slovenian population's perception of such practices. Artistic groups and their practices are in this sense used as part of an 'interim development' strategy, i.e. temporary guests(non-statutory tenants) are warmly welcomed because their (sub) cultural capital happens to cultivate the area, making it "cool" and attractive, but when the value of the area's real estate begins to rise their low-income status does not grant them any tenant protection. Regardless of the social role they played in revitalising the city, these groups are therefore gradually ousted from neighbourhoods, which quite ironically are often advertised in the real estate market as the city's "Bohemian" or "cultural" quarters. This makes us aware of the lack of unique alternative or informal spaces, venues for alternative art movements and practices in the cities. These issues are presented on the cases of the alternative spaces of Metelkova and the Rog Factory, both located in Ljubljana'sinnercity.

Several disposal processes for waste sludge from wastewater treatment plants such as landfill, ocean dump, incineration, reuse as fuels or fertilizers are practiced. However, ocean dumping is prohibited by international treat. New constructions of landfill sites or incineration facilities are limited by NIMBY and reuse processes are still suffering from low energy yield. Therefore, development of alternative processes for sludge disposal are currently needed. In this study, alternative technique for sludge solubilization using HVI (high voltage impulse) was suggested and verified experimentally. Sludge solubilization was carried out for 90 minutes using HVI discharge with peak voltage of 16 kV and pulse duration for 40 microsecond. About 3~9 % of MLSS and MLVSS concentration were reduced, but the soluble COD, TN, TP of the sludge increased to 372 %, 56 % and 102 % respectively. It indicates that the flocs and/or cells of the sludge were damaged by HVI. These resulted in flocs-disintegration and cells-lysis, which means the internal matters were bursted out of the flocs as well as the cells. Thus, electrical conductivity in bulk solution was increased. All of the results verified that the HVI could be used as an alternative technique for sludge solubilization processes.

더미 역설에 대한 양진주의적 해결전략이란 경계사례를 참인 모순으로 이해하는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 전략을 수용하기 위해서는 모순을 인정하지 않는 대안의 가능성을 먼저 고려해야 한다. 대안이 있다면 굳이 모순을 인정할 필요는 없기 때문이다. 이와 관련해서, 벨은 모순을 인정하지 않으면서 양진주의가 갖는 장점을 모두 갖는 대안을 제시한다. 필자는 이 글에서 이러한 벨의 주장이 성립하지 않음을 보일 것이다. 필자의 논의는 주로 울타리 도식(inclosure schema)에 기초한다. 필자는 더미 역설이 울타리 도식을 만족함을 보인 후, 이 도식에 기초해서 절단점의 존재를 거부하는 대안들이 모두 모순을 함축한다는 것을 보일 것이다. 물론, 이러한 대안에는 벨의 대안 역시 포함된다. 그리고 이것은 모호성에 대한 직관 즉, '관용'을 수용하는 한, 양진주의를 받아들여야 한다는 것을 의미한다.

Recently, as the climate of temperature change has happened worldwide, To solve this problem, Kyoto protocol was taken to regulate global warming on Feb. 2005 and each country is making efforts to prevent global warming. In the automotive industry, R-134a refrigerant is widely used most these days because it has zero ODP(Ozone Depletion Potential). But R-134a GWP(Global Warming Potential) is so high. Therefore, replacement refrigerant desperately is needed as a alternative refrigerant. So, R-l52a is considered as one of the alternative refrigerants due to zero ODP and lower GWP against as required on Europe Committee. In this paper, performance of the air conditioning system between R-134a and R-152a is investigated experimentally. In the bench level, cooling capacity, condensing capacity, COP of automotive air conditioning system are ovaluated by means of air velocity entering the condenser and compressor revolution speed with optimized charge refrigerant quantity. Result of this study, R-152a refrigerant shows the possibility as alternative refrigerant of current R-134a in automotive air conditioning system.

Recently in Korea, franchise system has been specially used in the distribution industry. However, it also brought up many problems caused by various issues between franchisor and franchisee. The purpose of this article is to review recent trend of the franchise transaction contracts and resolution of the disputes in Korea. And to expand to use of ADR(Alternative Dispute Resolution) system as a practical dispute settlement procedure including mediation and arbitration. Arbitration means a procedure to settle any dispute in private laws, not by the adjudication of a court, but by the award of an arbitrator or arbitrators, as agreed by the parties. Arbitration agreement is a prerequisite for either party to a dispute to commence arbitral proceeding and may be in the form of a separate agreement or in the form of an arbitration clause in a contract and shall be in writing.
