Boussinesq 방정식 모델의 수치잡음 제거를 위한 저파수 통과 필터에 대한 고찰 (Low-pass Filters for Removing Numerical Noises of Boussinesq Equation Model)

  • Boussinesq 방정식에 의한 파랑전파의 계산과정 중 파랑의 비선형 상호작용 및 쇄파발생에 의하여 수치잡음이 흔히 발생하며 이 잡음을 적절히 제어하지 않을 경우 해가 급속히 발산하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 계산 중간과정에 주기적으로 적용하여 수치잡음을 제거하기 위한 세가지 형태의 저파수통과 필터(FFT 필터, 가우스 필터, 그리고 Shapiro 필터)의 특성에 대하여 고찰하였다. 경사면 파동장에 대한 기존의 수리실험 결과와 본 수치해석 결과를 비교하고 각 필터의 잡음 제거효과, 주 시그널의 보존성, 그리고 계산 소요시간에 대하여 검토하였다. 그 결과, Shapiro 필터의 매개변수(필터 요소수와 통과수, 그리고 필터적용주기)를 적절히 설정함으로써 계산의 정확성과 효율성을 잘 달성할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 적정한 매개변수 선정을 위해서는 다소의 시행착오적 계산이 요구되나 대체적으로 필터 요소수 4에 대하여 50이내의 필터 통과수와 $100{\sim}200$ 시간스텝 정도의 적용주기가 타당한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 접지면에 PBG와 Aperture를 설치함으로써 고성능 대역통과 여파기를 설계하였다. 대역통과 여파기의 하모닉 특성은 PBG 구조에 의하여 개선되었고 대역폭은 Aperture에 의하여 확대되었다. 세가지 크기를 갖는 PBG 구조가 결합되어 새로운 PBG 구조가 도출되었다. 설계 중심 주파수는 2.2 GHz이었고 대역폭은 Aperture에 의하여 $40\%$ 확대되었다.

  • An active modal-fuzzy control method using hydraulic actuators is presented for seismic response reduction. In the proposed control system, a new fuzzy controller designed in the modal space produces the desired active control force. This type controller has all advantages of the fuzzy control algorithm and modal approach. Since it is very difficult to select input variables used in fuzzy controller among an amount of state variables in the active fuzzy control system the presented algorithm adopts the modal control algorithm which is able to consider more easily information of all state variables in civil structures that are usually dominated by first few modes. In other words, all information of the whole structure can be considered in the control algorithm evaluated to reduce seismic responses and it can be efficient for especially civil structures. In addition, the presented algorithm is expected to magnify utility and performance caused by efficiency that the fuzzy algorithm can handle complex model more easily. An active modal-fuzzy control scheme is applied together with a Kalman filter and a low-pass filter to be applicable to real civil structures. A Kalman filter is considered to estimate modal states and a low-pass filter was used to eliminate spillover problem. The results of the numerical simulations far a wide amplitude range o f loading conditions and for historic earthquakes having various frequency components show that the proposed active modal-fuzzy control system can be beneficial in reducing seismic responses of civil structures.

  • This paper shows a novel and simple IIR/FIR QMF(quadrature mirror filter) filter banks, mixed IIR and FIR structure. Here, FIR filters used for phase compensation. In this paper, we introduced analysis and synthesis filter banks, which used FIR linear phase filters and all pass filters. In result, phase response of analysis and synthesis filter banks become approximately linear characteristic. Simultaneously, a liasing distortion can be completely canceled.

  • In this paper, a novel control scheme compensating for source voltage unbalance and current harmonics and power factor correction in unified active power filter systems combined with shunt passive filters is proposed, where no low/high-pass filter are used in deriving the reference voltage for compensation. Using digital all-pass filters, the phase angle and the reference voltages compensating for harmonic current and unbalanced voltage are derived from the positive sequence component of the unbalanced voltage. The amplitude of d-axis current in a series filter is controlled as zero for power factor correction. The validity of the proposed control scheme has been verified by experimental results.

  • Full-image guided filter는 커널 윈도우 영역만 필터링에 반영되는 기존의 커널 윈도우 기반 가이드 필터와 달리 가중치 전파 도식과 양방향 모델이 적용되어 영상의 모든 픽셀이 필터링에 반영된다. 이로써 가이드 필터의 경계 보존과 평활화 등의 가이드 이미지 필터의 특성을 유지하면서도 계산 복잡도를 개선할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 full-image guided filter의 더 빠른 처리가 필요한 스테레오 비전 및 각종 실시간 시스템 분야에 적용될 수 있도록 효율적인 하드웨어 구조를 제안하였다. 필터링 프로세스에서 발생하는 각종 데이터의 종속성 분석과 영상의 PSNR 분석, 데이터 빈도 분석 등을 통하여 적합한 하드웨어 구조를 제안하였다. 또한 양방향 모델이 적용된 가중치 연산 모듈의 휴식 구간이 최소화되도록 효율적인 스케줄링을 하였고 실시간 처리가 가능하게 하였다. 제안한 하드웨어 구조는 동부하이텍 0.11um 표준셀 라이브러리로 합성하였을 경우 최대 동작주파수 214MHz(384*288 영상: 965 fps)와 76K(내부 메모리 제외) 게이트의 하드웨어 복잡도를 나타냈다.

2-6 GHz GaN HEMT Power Amplifier MMIC with Bridged-T All-Pass Filters and Output-Reactance-Compensation Shorted Stubs

  • This paper presents a 2-6 GHz GaN HEMT power amplifier monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) with bridged-T all-pass filters and output-reactance-compensation shorted stubs using the $0.25{\mu}m$ GaN HEMT foundry process that is developed by WIN Semiconductors, Inc. The bridged-T filter is modified to mitigate the bandwidth degradation of impedance matching due to the inherent channel resistance of the transistor, and the shorted stub with a bypass capacitor minimizes the output reactance of the transistor to ease wideband load impedance matching for maximum output power. The fabricated power amplifier MMIC shows a flat linear gain of 20 dB or more, an average output power of 40.1 dBm and a power-added efficiency of 19-26 % in 2 to 6 GHz, which is very useful in applications such as communication jammers and electronic warfare systems.

  • A split-step time-domain model for the analysis of pulse delay characteristics through ring resonator all-pass filters (APF's) is developed and its accuracy is checked. The dependence of the delay time and pulse distortion on the coupling ratios is investigated using the model. It is observed that the bandwidth of the APF's needs to be wide enough to minimize the pulse distortion.
