PEALD과 ALD을 이용한 다공성 기판의 증착 특성 비교

  • Plasma Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition(PEALD)와 Atomic Layer Deposition(ALD) Techniques는 '정확한 두께 조절' 및 '우수한 균일도'를 가지는 신뢰할 수 있는 진공 기술이다. 본 연구에서는 다공성 구조를 가지는 기판을 대상으로 PEALD와 ALD Techniques을 이용한 $Al_2O_3$ 형성 공정의 증착 특성을 비교하였다. 각 공정은 공통적으로 Tris-Methyl-Aluminium(TMA)을 첫번째 전구체로 사용하였고 purge gas로는 Nitrogen를 사용하였다. 그리고 두번째 전구체로 PEALD 공정에서는 Oxygen Plasma를 사용하였고 ALD 공정에서는 Water를 사용하였다. 복잡한 다공성 구조를 가지는 기판은 $TiO_2$ Nano-Particle paste과 colloidal Silver paste를 소결시켜 제작하여 사용하였다. 각 공정의 차이점을 비교하기 위해서 배기단에 Capacitor Diaphram Gauge(CDG)와 Residual Gas Analyzer(RGA)를 통해서 압력과 잔류 가스를 모니터하였다. 그리고 각 공정을 통해서 porous한 Nano-Particles Network에 형성된 $Al_2O_3$막의 특성을 비교하기 위해서 FE-SEM과 EDX를 통해서 관찰하였다. 또한 좀 더 자세한 비교 분석을 위해서 $Al_2O_3$ 막이 형성된 porous한 Nano-Particles Networks의 각 각의 particles들을 분산시켜 TEM과 AFM를 통해서 관찰하였다. 나아가 전기적 물성의 차이점을 비교하기 위해서 IV 및 CV를 측정하였다. 위의 일련의 비교 실험을 통해서 'PEALD과 ALD을 이용한 다공성 기판의 증착 특성'에 대하여 고찰하였다.

무수석고-고로슬래그계의 수화반응 (Hydration in the System of Anhydrite II-Blastfurnace Slag)

  • In order to investigate the reaction in the system of anhydrite II-blast furnace slag, the paste hydration which made up with a liquid/solid ratio of 0.45 for 1, 3, 7, 14, 28days by the addition of accelerators to 10~30wt.% slag with natural gypsum calcined for 1hour at 500/$700^{\circ}C$ was studied by combined water determination, XRD, DTA, DSC and SEM. As a result of this experiment, it was found that hydration rate was faster in the system calcined at 50$0^{\circ}C$. Therefore the anhydrite was converted to calcium sulfate dihydrate in the hydration for 1day but the slag was not almost reacted. For the gypsum calcined at $700^{\circ}C$, the hydraton rate in the system of K2SO4 addition was faster than others in the earier period, but the activated effect of the system of Al2(SO4)3 addition was regarded as the highest over 3days. As the amount of slag was increased, they dydration rate was delayed and ettringite was observed in the case of K2SO4 system. However both Al2(SO4)3 and AlK(SO4)2 systems showed calcium sulfate dhydrate only as hydrated products.

Correlation study on microstructure and mechanical properties of rice husk ash-Sodium aluminate geopolymer pastes

  • Rice Husk Ash (RHA) geopolymer paste activated by sodium aluminate were characterized by X-ray diffractogram (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersion X-Ray analysis (EDAX)and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Five series of RHA geopolymer specimens were prepared by varying the Si/Al ratio as 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5. The paper focuses on the correlation of microstructure with hardened state parameters like bulk density, apparent porosity, sorptivity, water absorption and compressive strength. XRD analysis peaks indicates quartz, cristobalite and gibbsite for raw RHA and new peaks corresponding to Zeolite A in geopolymer specimens. In general, SEM micrographs show interconnected pores and loosely packed geopolymer matrix except for specimens made with Si/Al of 2.0 which exhibited comparatively better matrix. Incorporation of Al from sodium aluminate were confirmed with the stretching and bending vibration of Si-O-Si and O-Si-O observations from the FTIR analysis of geopolymer specimen. The dense microstructure of SA2.0 correlate into better performance in terms of 28 days maximum compressive strength of 16.96 MPa and minimum for porosity, absorption and sorptivity among the specimens. However, due to the higher water demand to make the paste workable, the value of porosity, absorption and sorptivity were reportedly higher as compared with other geopolymer systems. Correlation regression equations were proposed to validate the interrelation between physical parameters and mechanical strength. RHA geopolymer shows comparatively lower compressive strength as compared to Fly ash geopolymer.

효소분해법에 의한 페이스트형 속성 멸치젓의 제조 및 품질에 관한 연구 (A study on the Rapid Processing of Hydrolyzed Anchovy Paste and Its Quality Stability)

  • A study on the processing method of anchovy hydrolysate paste (AHP) was carried out to improve the sensory quality of salted and fermented fish. Homogenized whole anchovy was hydrolyzed using commercial pretenses, Complex enzyme-2000 (CE, Pacific Chem. Co.) and Alcalase (AL, Novo), in a cylindrical vessel with 4 baffle plates and 6-bladed turbine impeller. Optimal pH, temperature, and enzyme concentration for the hydrolysis with CE and AL were $7.0,\;52^{\circ}C,\;7\%$, and $8.0,\;60^{\circ}C,\;6\%$, respectively. The rational amount of water for homogenization, agitation speed, and hydrolyzing time were $100\%\;(w/w)$, 100 rpm, and 210 min, respectively. To make the hydrolysate to paste type, it was effective to mix the additives, such as starch, soybean protein, agar, and carrageenan gum to the hydrolysate 5 min before the end of boiling at $100^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. Minimal NaCl concentration for long-term preservation was $15\%$, and this could be reduced to $12\%$ by adding $5\%$ of KCl. yield of the AHP based on the total nitrogen content was $94.6\~97.0\%,\;and\;86.0\~89.2\%$, of the nitrogen was amino nitrogen. Salinity, pH and histamine content of the AHP prepared with $12\%$ NaCl and $5\%$ KCl were $9.3\~9.9\%,\;6.1\~6.2$, and below 13 mg/100 g, respectively. The AHP was stable at $26{\pm}3^{\circ}C$ for 60 days on bacterial growth, and addition of $0.05\%$ of rosemary (Herbalox) extract was effective to inhibit the lipid oxidation of the AHP during storage.

  • Screen printing method is a common way to fabricate the crystalline silicon solar cell with low-cost and high-efficiency. The screen printing metallization use silver paste and aluminum paste for front and rear contact, respectively. Especially the rear contact between aluminum and silicon is important to form the back surface filed (Al-BSF) after firing process. BSF plays an important role to reduces the surface recombination due to $p^+$ doping of back surface. However, Al electrode on back surface leads to bow occurring by differences in coefficient of thermal expansion of the aluminum and silicon. In this paper, we studied the properties of mono crystalline silicon solar cell for rear electrode with aluminum and aluminum-boron in order to characterize bow and BSF of each paste. The 156*156 $m^2$ p-type silicon wafers with $200{\mu}m$ thickness and 0.5-3 ${\Omega}\;cm$ resistivity were used after texturing, diffusion, and antireflection coating. The characteristics of solar cells was obtained by measuring vernier callipers, scanning electron microscope and light current-voltage. Solar cells with aluminum paste on the back surface were achieved with $V_{OC}$ = 0.618V, JSC = 35.49$mA/cm^2$, FF(Fill factor) = 78%, Efficiency = 17.13%.

콘크리트 포장 도로의 성능저하에 관련된 이차광물형성과 팽창메카니즘 (Secondary Mineral Formation and Expansion Mechanisms Involved in Concrete Pavement Deterioration)

  • 새로이 형성되는 이차광물들이 콘크리트의 조기 성능 저하 (열화)에 미치는 영향은 현재까지 명확히 규명되지 않고 있다. 이들 광물들은 시멘트 페이스트와 골재간의 화학적 반응의 결과로 시멘트 페이스트 내에 형성된다. 조기 성능 저하 현상을 보이는 미국 아이오와주의 콘크리트 포장의 고속도로들로부터 채취된 시료들 내의 골재와 시멘트 페이스트에서의 화학적 광물학적 변화를 규명하기 위하여 암석학적 관찰과 SEM/EDAX 분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 분석에 의거 성능 저하에 연관된 이차광물의 형성과 팽창 메카니즘에 대하여 연구하였다. 브루사이트(Brucite, Mg(OH)2)는 골재의 탈백운석화(dedolomitization) 반응의 결과로 시멘트 페이트스 내에 생성되는 잠재적인 팽창성 광물이다. 시멘트 페이스트의 균열현상은 이들 광물과 공간적인 연관성을 보여주지는 않으나, 대부분이 극 미세입자의 크기로 조기 성능 저하 현상을 나타내는 콘크리트의 시멘트 페이스트 내에 광범위하게 산재되어 나타난다. 무수한 미세공간들에서의 이들 광물 성장에 의한 팽창성 응력은 콘크리트내부의 약한 부분에서 균열로 나타난다. 에트린자이트(3CaO.Al2O3.3CaSO4.32H2O)는 많은 작은 공극들을 완전히 채우고 있으며, 큰 공극들의 가장자리에 테두리와 같은 형태로 나타난다. 미세한 에트린자이트가 많은 콘크리트 시료들의 시멘트 페이스트에 산재해서 나타나기도 한다. 조기 성능 저하의 원인이 되는 시멘트 페이스트의 심한 균열이 에트린자이트와 공간적으로 연관되어 나타나는데, 이러한 사실은 에트린자이트가 콘크리트의 성능 저하에 기여한다는 것을 지시한다. 황철석 (FeS2)이 일반적으로 골재 내에 산재하는데, 이 광물의 산화작용의 산물이 많은 콘크리트 시료들에서 관찰된다. 이런 황철석의 산화작용은 에트린자이트를 형성하기 위한 황산염을 공급하게된다.

  • In this study, FT-IR analysis was performed by exposing cement paste to high temperature in order to characterize the change of hydration behavior of concrete structure damaged by fire accident. As the holding time increased, the Al-O vibration region increased due to the increase of Si-O symmetric Ca2(SiO4) and Brownilerite, and the OH stretching region tended to increase due to thermal decomposition of Ca(OH)2.

A mortar mix proportion design algorithm based on artificial neural networks

  • The concepts of four parameters of nominal water-cement ratio, equivalent water-cement ratio, average paste thickness, fly ash-binder ratio were introduced. It was verified that the four parameters and the mix proportion of mortar can be transformed each other. The behaviors (strength, workability, et al.) of mortar primarily determined by the mix proportion of mortar now depend on the four parameters. The prediction models of strength and workability of mortar were built based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). The calculation models of average paste thickness and equivalent water-cement ratio of mortar can be obtained by the reversal deduction of the two prediction models, respectively. A mortar mix proportion design algorithm was proposed. The proposed mortar mix proportion design algorithm is expected to reduce the number of trial and error, save cost, laborers and time.

  • We have studied mechanisms of back contact formation in Al evaporation and screen printed Al paste for Si solar cells by TEM analysis. We observed that Si diffuse into Al during heat up. The Si diffusion process made vacancies in Si wafer. The Al began to seep into the Si wafer (Al spike). During heat down, the Al spike were shrink which causes the doped region (BSF).

Genetic algorithm-based yield stress equations for concrete at high temperature and prolonged mixing time

  • Experiments were designed to investigate the flow behavior of portland cement paste and concrete incorporating superplasticizers. The paste and concrete mixtures were subjected to prolonged mixing for up to 110 min at high temperature. The yield stress values of concrete and that of the corresponding cement paste were measured using a rotating rheometer and viscometer, respectively. The results reveal a weak linear correlation between the yield stress of concrete mixtures and that of the corresponding cement pastes. Results also indicate that the yield stress of concrete varies in a linear fashion with the elapsed time, while its variations with the temperature and superplasticizer dosage follow power and inverse power functions, respectively. In this study, the genetic algorithms (GA) technique was used to predict the yield stress of concrete considering various parameters, such as the mixing time, ambient temperature, and superplasticizer dosage. A sensitivity study was conducted to evaluate the ability of the GA equations thus developed to capture the effects of test parameters on the yield stress of concrete. It was found that the GA equations were sensitive to the effects of test parameters and provided yield stress predictions that compared well with corresponding experimental data.
