The numerical simulation on the internal flow characteristics of the adaptor in a two-fluid nozzle has been performed to investigate the effects of carrier air supplying parameters using a commercial code. The four adaptor models with the different positions in the carrier air supplying port were considered at the fixed conditions of urea-water solution and carrier air supplying. As the results from the numerical analysis, the internal pressure of the adaptor was varied with the port position for carrier air supplying, and it shows lower pressure value than the atmospheric pressure. Consequently, the flowrate of urea-water solution issuing from the feeding injector with the adaptor varied up to 30% with the port positions for the carrier air supplying. When the carrier air is supplied from the side from the feeding injector axis and the upper part from the feeding injector tip, the flowrate of urea-water solution issuing from the feeding injector with the adaptor show higher value than other carrier air supplying conditions.

Hot air heater with light oil combustion is the most common heater for greenhouse heating in the winter season in Korea. However, since the heat efficiency of the heater is about 80%, considerable unused heat in the form of exhaust gas heat discharges to atmosphere. In order to capture this exhaust gas heat a heat recovery system for plant bed heating in the greenhouse was built and tested in the hot air heating system of greenhouse. The system consists of a heat exchanger made of copper pipes, ${\phi}\;12.7{\times}0.7t$ located inside the rectangular column of $330{\times}330{\times}900mm$, a water circulation pump, circulation plastic pipe and a water tame The total heat exchanger area is $1.5m^2$, calculated considering the heat exchange amount between flue gas and water circulated in the copper pipes. The system was attached to the exhaust gas path. The heat recovery system was designed as to even recapture the latent heat of flue gas when exposing to low temperature water in the heat exchanger. According to performance test it can recover 45,200 to 51,000kJ/hr depending on the water circulation rates of 330 to $690{\ell}$/hr from the waste heat discharged. The exhaust gas temperature left from the heat exchanger dropped to $100^{circ}C$ from $270^{circ}C$ by the heat exchange between the water and the flue gas, while water gained the difference and temperature increased to $38^{circ}C$ from $21^{circ}C$ at the water flow rate of $690{\ell}$/hr. And, the condensed water amount varies from 16 to $43m{\ell}$ at the same water circulation rates. This condensing heat recovery system can reduce boiler fuel consumption amount in a day by 34% according to the feasibility study of the actual mimitomato greenhouse. No combustion load was observed in the hot air heater.
The cooling effect of a fog cooling system has a close relationship to air flow and relative humidity in the greenhouse. From the VETH chart for cooling design, a cooling efficiency can be improved by means of increasing the air exchange rate and the amount of sprayed water. In the no shading experimental greenhouse by time control, when average air exchange rate was 0.77 times.min$^{-1}$ and spray water amount was 2,009g, inside temperature of the greenhouse was 31$^{\circ}C$ that was almost close to outside temperature and cooling efficiency was 82%. When average air exchange rate was close to temperature of the greenhouse that was no cooling and 70% shading greenhouse environment. When average air exchange rate was 2.59times.min$^{-1}$ , spray water amount was 2,009g and shading rate was 70%, inside relative humidity of the greenhouse was increased was 2,009 g and shading rate was 70%, inside relative humidity of the greenhouse was increased, but temperature was not decreased. When average air exchange rate was 2.33 times.min$^{-1}$ and spray water amount was 2,009g, inside temperature was 31.4 and at that time maximum wind speed at the air inlet of greenhouse was 1.9m.s$^{-1}$ . Since time controller sprayed amount of constant water at a given interval, some of sprayed water remained not to be evaporated, which increased relative humidity and decreased cooling efficiency. Because the shading screen prevented air flow in the greenhouse, it also caused the evaporation efficiency to be decreased. In order to increase cooling efficiency, it was necessary to study on controling by relative humidity and air circulation in the greenhouse.
The several water resources are showed recently the various pollution types due to the industrialization and the disarranged district development. The living waste water, plant waste water and so are contaminated continuously and the recycling water is concerned highly to save the cost and to improve the environment as the general people. The dust and the heavy metal in the air and the acid rain are contaminating the river water and the underground water. The clean environment is on the rise to the general people and is to be the social problems. There is going to complement and repair the water supplying and fire extinguishing pipeline to save the construction cost and improve the environment in the construction facilities parts. Therefore, in this paper the recycling water treatment/supply apparatus using the living waste water is considerated technically and is raised on the practical uses.
A study was conducted on the coolant mixing between water flowing in two adjacent subchannels. Measurements were made of the quantity of mass transferred between a larger rectangular channel and a smaller triangular channel in a 19-rod fuel bundle under the conditions of single phase flow and air-water two-phase flow. The results of the experiments showed that the low mixing rate appears in single phase flow, and high mixing rate was measured in air-water two-phase flow Mixing rate decreases with the increasing of air void fraction during the air-water flow. It seems that the high mixing rate in the air-water flow was caused due to adequate agitation of the chaotic air void.
The structural development of air-water bubble plumes has been measured under different condition on air flow rate in a cylindrical bath. The time-averaged structure of plumes has been measured with an oscilloscope and an electro-conductivity probe. The temperature of bubbles was also obtained by a thermal-infrared camera. Gas volume fraction and bubble frequency were high since bubbles concentrated on the nozzle. In general, their axial and radial values tended to decrease with increasing distance. Bubble temperature reached water temperature within a short time. The present study showed that thermal equilibrium between bubbles and water was completed before bubbles flow became stable.

The effect of inclination angle on natural convection heat transfer has been studied for water layers. The range of the Raleigh number was from the subcritical value to 1.4${\times}$10$^{7}$ , and the range of the inclination angle, $\theta$, measured from the horizontal was 0$\leq$$\theta$$\leq$180$^{\circ}$. For horizontal water layers, present results agreed well with the results of previous investigators and also showed significant departures from the results of air layers in the turbulent regime. Inclined cylindrical water layers showed secondary maxima in heat transfer, whereas rectangular air layers showed continuous decline of Nusselt number.

The study has been designed to develop water vapor supply for semiconductor industry, industrial gas manufacturing, impurities analysis, and fuel cell. Water concentration in air reached $1019{\mu}mol/mol$ at dew temp ($-20^{\circ}C$) and water concentration in CO2 reached $127{\mu}mol/mol$ at dew temp ($-40^{\circ}C$. Carbon dioxide needs more wet gas than air because interaction potential of carbon dioxide shows more strong attraction than air.

The Effects of hot water supply temperature on indoor thermal characteristics for floor radiant heating system in residential apartment were researched by computer simulation. The parametric study on hot water supply temperatures with different outdoor air temperatures was done with regard to energy performance and control characteristics, respectively. As a result, the maximum overshoot of indoor air temperature and energy consumption were reduced by adjusting the hot water supply temperatures with outdoor air temperatures.

This study compared and analyzed the change of air consumption according to water depth with human characteristics and theoretical values. The experimental results are as follows. First, subjects A and B showed similar rise rates depending on the water depth. Second, subject C had a significantly higher rate of increase in air consumption at 25m underwater because the body responded sensitively to deep water pressure, which increased air consumption because breathing was faster than other participants. Third, the subjects D and E showed significantly lower overall air consumption. D and E were 37 and 35 years of age, respectively, the youngest, strongest and most experienced in deep sea diving at the time of military service. Fourth, the average air consumption per minute of the test subjects increased from 5m in water to 1.45 times, 10m in water to 1.85 times, and 20m in water to 2.8 times. This seems to be a result of different experiences, physical fitness, the degree of adaptation of the body to underwater, and different breathing techniques. Lastly, the difference between the experimental average value and the theoretical value appears to be the result of using more or less air than the theoretical value depending on the experiences and physical strength of each of the 5 rescuers, the degree of adaptation of the body underwater, and the method of underwater breathing.
