멀티 인버터 히트펌프의 동특성 해석 프로그램의 개발 (Development of the Dynamic Simulation Program for the Multi-Inverter Heat Pump Air-Conditioner)

  • A dynamic simulation model was developed to analyse the transient characteristics of a multi-inverter heat pump. The programs included a basic air conditioning system such as a evaporator, condenser, compressor, linear electronic expansion valve (LEV) and by-pass circuit. The theoretical model was derived from mass conservation and energy conservation equations to predict the performance of the multi-inverter heat pump at various operating conditions. Calculated results were compared with the values obtained from the experiments at different operation frequencies of compressor, area of the LEV and configuration of indoor units operation. The results of the simulation model showed a good agreement with the experimental ones, so that the model could be used as an efficient tool for thermodynamic design and control factor design of air-conditioners.

  • The noise sources in the outdoor unit of RAC are identified by the sound intensity method. The main noise sources are compressor noise and fluid noise which is caused by the fan. heat exchanger and shroud. First. the fluid noise is reduced through the design of new fan and shroud. reduction of the system resistance by rearrangement of heat exchanger. and optimization of the complex parameter between the fan and shroud. Next, in order to reduce the compressor noise, the new shape of compressor mount and sound-proof material was applied. As a result, the overall noise was reduced by 4∼5dB (A).

  • The rotary compressor is widely used for the air conditioner because it is efficient and compact. In recent, the need for silent compressors is much stronger than the past. The new type muffler was invented to reduce noise level and to improve sound quality. The new type muffler that has two side discharge holes represents much lower overall noise level, especially noise levels around 1KHz than the old type one that has one center discharge hole in acoustic spectra and dynamic pressure spectra. The noise reduction effects of the new type muffler were verified by noise tests for rotary compressors and air conditioners.

  • 최근들어 자동차에어콘 콤프레셔의 전기마그네트식 콘트롤밸브는 내부형 스워시 프레이트형을 사용하고 있다. 이 시스템은 외부로부터 공급되는 전류량(신호)에 의하여 작동되며 동시에 스워시판 작동에 의한 압력은 냉매가 흐르는 비율에 의하여 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 압축기의 크랭크케이스 압력이 전기마그네트 콘트롤 밸브 전기 흐름량에 따른 유량의 값을 측정하여 엔진의 효율을 향상시키고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 냉난방 인버터 에어컨용 전원시스템에 역률개선 회로인 부분 스위칭 PFC 모듈을 적용하여 입력의 역률 개선 및 전류의 고조파 성분을 최소화하여 IEC555-2규정을 만족하는 입력 전원부를 설계하여 인덕터부하에 적용되는 회로 설계시의 문제점들을 해결 할 수 있는 방안들을 제시하였다. 그리고 출력전압의 상승을 억제하면서 전류파형을 개선하는 방법 및 부분 스위칭 PFC회로를 제안하여 스위칭 횟수를 적게 함으로써 압축기의 모터에 인가 할 수 있는 전압을 상승시켜 모터 적정 운전 전압을 확립하였으며, 효율이나 경제성 및 전자 노이즈 등의 문제점들을 해결하였다. 그리고 에어컨의 소비 전력을 줄일 수 있다. 이상의 결과에서 시스템 총합 운전에너지 효율이 상승되는 것을 확인하는 모든 사항은 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 타당성을 입증했다.

자동차 에어컨 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 (Computer Simulation of Automobile Air-Conditioners)

  • The refrigeration cycle of automobile air-conditioners is simulated in an effort to provide a computational tool for optimum thermodynamic design. In the simulation, thermodynamic and heat transfer analysis was performed for the four major components : evaporator, condenser, compressor, and expansion valve. Effectiveness-NTU method was used for modeling both evaporator and condenser. The evaporator was divied into many subgrids and simultaneous cooling and dehumidifying analysis was performed for each grid to predict the performance accurately. Blance equations were used to model the compressor instead of using the compressor map. The performance of each component was checked against the measured data with CFC-12. Then, all the components were combined to yield the total system performance. Predicted cycle points were compared against the measured data with HFC-134a and the deviation was found to be less than 5% for all data. Finally, the system model was used to predict the performance of CFC-12 and HFC-134a for comparison. The results were very reasonable as compared to the trend deduced from the measured data.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 에어컨 사이클 성능해석에 있다. 응축기, 증발기, 팽창밸브 및 압축기는 냉동사이클을 구성하는 핵심요소이다. 사이클의 개별적인 구성요소들에 대한 해석 기법들을 합리적으로 통합하여 다양한 운전조건에서 에어컨 시스템 성능예측이 가능하도록 하였다. 응축기 압력은 압축기 질량유량과 팽창밸브 유량이 일치하도록 반복계산에 의해 획득되며, 증발기 압력은 목표 흡입과열도가 획득되도록 압축기 흡입엔탈피를 반복계산에 의해 획득되었다. 더 나아가서 복수 실내기를 장착한 에어컨 시스템의 성능이 예측될 수 있도록 알고리듬들이 마련되었으며, 이들 모델들에 대한 해석결과를 제시하였다. 소프트웨어의 정확성은 실험결과에 의해 증명 되었다. 특히, 8.3 kW급 모델의 실험결과와 비교함으로써, 소프트웨어의 정확성이 다양하게 검정되었다. 해석결과로써, 정확성은 대체적으로 10% 이내에 있는 것으로 확인되어 우수한 신뢰성이 확보되었다.

  • This paper describes a precise temperature control method for refrigerating and air conditioning systems. The control technique is based on the optimal servo control design method and the control algorithm is implemented on a personal computer. To control the precise temperature, two actuators such as an inverter for the compressor speed control and a stepping motor for regulating the expansion valve are used. The superheat and evaporator temperatures are chosen as the system output. So a multivariable system which has two inputs and two outputs to be controlled. The complicative model is identified by using an ARX(Auto Regressive eXogenous) model and the controller is designed by using the Matlab software.

스택 폐열을 이용한 연료전지 자동차용 열펌프 시스템의 성능 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Characteristics of a Heat Pump System using Stack Wast Heat in Fuel Cell Vehicles)

  • This study was conducted to develop a heating system for a fuel cell-driven electric vehicle. The system consists of a compressor, an expansion device and three heat exchangers. A conventional air source heat exchanger is used as primary heat exchanger of the system, and an additional water source heat exchanger is used as a pre-heater to supply heat to the upstream air of the primary heat exchanger. On the other hand, the third heat exchanger consists of a water-to-refrigerant heat exchanger. The heat source of the pre-heater and the water-refrigerant heat exchanger is the waste heat from the fuel cell's stack. In the experiment, the indoor and the outdoor air temperature were fixed, and the compressor speed, EEV opening and waste heat temperature were varied. The results indicate that the $COP_h$ of the proposed system is 3.01 when the system is operating at a 1,200 rpm compressor speed, 50% EEV opening, and $50^{\circ}C$ waste heat source temperature in air pre-heater operation. However, when the system uses a water-refrigerant heat exchanger, the $COP_h$ increases to up to 9.42 at the same compressor speed and waste heat source temperature with 75% EEV openings.
