큰느타리(Pleurotus eryngii) 품종 판별을 위한 초위성체 유래 다중 표지 개발 (Multiplex Simple Sequence Repeat (SSR) Markers Discriminating Pleurotus eryngii Cultivar)

  • 큰느타리 품종구분을 위한 마커의 개발을 위하여 큰느타리 전체 유전자 염기서열을 바탕으로 제작한 484개의 SSR마커를 사용하여 다형성 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 각 275개의 primer에서 다형성이 관찰되었다. 이 중 품종간에 다양한 패턴을 나타내는 5개의 마커를 최종 선발하였다. 이들 마커의 PIC 값은 0.6627에서 0.6848로 나타났고, 평균값은 0.6775였다. 이 결과를 밴드 이미지 인식 방법으로 dendrogram을 작성하였다. UPGMA 집괴분석 결과, 큰느타리 품종은 크게 Cluster 1과 Cluster 2로 구분되었다. SSR primer를 이용한 PCR 결과 나타나는 품종별 고유의 DNA 밴드를 품종특이적 마커로 개발하기 위하여, 선발된 마커중에서 SSR312과 SSR366, SSR178과 SSR 277 마커를 조합하여 초위성체 유래 다중 표지 세트를 개발하였다. Multiplex-SSR 마커의 사용을 통해 두번의 PCR 반응만으로 본 연구에서 사용된 12개의 큰느타리 품종을 구분할 수 있었다.

지역 농특산물의 베타카로틴 함량 조사 (A Study on Contents of Beta-Carotene in Local Agricultural Products)

  • Beta-carotene is the most prominent member of the group of carotenoids, natural colorants that occur in the human diet. Beta-carotene is also an effective source of vitamin A in both conventional foods and vitamin supplements, and it's generally safe. In this study, we explored the beta-carotene contents in agricultural products widely and specifically grown in Korea. The beta-carotene contents were ranging from 223 to $27,908{\mu}g/100g$ in leaves, and 0 to $7,588{\mu}g/100g$ in vegetables. In leaves and vegetables, the amount of beta-carotene was the highest in green tea powder ($27,908{\mu}g/100g$), followed by pepper ($7,588{\mu}g/100g$). In fruits, the beta-carotene content was found to range from $0{\mu}g/1,011g$ to maximum of $293.66{\mu}g/100g$(plumcot). However, there beta-carotene was not detected in strawberry. In the case of cereals and specialty crops, the beta-carotene contents were $326{\mu}g/100g$ for non-glutinous rice, $313{\mu}g/100g$ for glutinous rice, $57{\mu}g/100g$ for amaranth and $15{\mu}g/100g$ for pine nut, respectively. However, the beta-carotene content was not detected in other samples. This study revealed the presence of beta-carotene content in agricultural products specifically grown in Korea for nutritional information and food composition database.

A Study on the Presence of the Information Management Division and its Effect on the Digital Divide among Different Regions of Korea

  • With the confirmation of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and as cheap foreign agricultural products are beginning to be freely distributed in Korea, the government has taken a greater interest in securing the competitiveness of domestic agriculture. Accordingly, the Korean government has presented plans to advance the interests of 'small but strong farmers' and secure their competitiveness in line with the agricultural conditions in Korea. The government also announced that it will focus on leading these efforts in rural areas. The main thrust of this plan to support 'small but strong farmers' focuses onutilizing advanced peripheral technologies such as IT and BT; however, there are only a few Information Management Division centers currentlyoperating across the nation, and these are mainly in the IT-related divisions of the Agricultural Research and Extension Services and Agricultural Technology Centers. Therefore, in this study, we used the responses from a survey of farmers to identify regional differences in informatization levels and the digital divide among 'small but strong farmers' according to the presence or absence of an Information Management Division center. As a result, we found that the 'small but strong farmers' in regions with an active Information Management Division center received more IT services and had a higher level of informatization. Thus, to increase the use of IT-related peripheral technology by these 'small but strong farmers', it is important to maintain or increase the number of Information Management Division centers.

디지털시대의 농업기술센터의 커뮤니케이션 전략 (Communication Strategies for Agricultural Technology Center in the Digital Age)

  • The objectives of this paper were to review the difference between the analog and digital age, and to suggest new communication strategies for Agricultural Extension Service Centers in the digital age. Literature review and discussion on the information age and its supporting technologies, such as the Internet and other digital tools, has enabled communication to occur during time periods and in locations based upon individual needs. With increasing number of internet subscribers using email and the world wide web, the internet is now considered a new mass media for communication, and may soon consider such electronic connectivity as essential in agricultural extension services. Communication strategies in the future should recognize and adapt to the changing needs farmers and extension educators in the information age. Utilization of internet technology and digital tools in communication may attract and retain farmers and extension educators in the future, thus. some of new strategies for communication in agricultural extension services should include the following; 1) traditional linear model should be change into interactive model in communication. 2) Agricultural extension service should include creative role with diffusion process. 3) Agricultural extension service should establish new receiver paradigm and form new partnership with farmer.

저알코올 와인의 가열 및 비가열 살균 후 품질 특성 및 기능성 (Quality Characteristics and Functionality of Low Alcohol Wines after Heat Sterilization and Non-Thermal Sterilization)

  • Low alcohol (6%) wines were manufactured using Campbell Early. To develop the sterilization process of low alcohol wines, red wines were heat sterilized, and rose wines were nonthermal sterilized by concentration using potassium metasulfite and potassium sorbate. Samples were stored at 25℃ and quality characteristics were investigated by period. Results of this study revealed the pH of the samples after sterilization ranged from 3.15 to 3.19, and the total acidity of wines ranged from 0.011 to 0.024%. The free SO2 contents of wines ranged from 13.00 to 29.678 mg/L, and the total SO2 contents of wines ranged from 47.50 to 121.00 mg/L. L (lightness) of wines decreased whereas a (redness) and b(yellowness) increased. The hue value of wines ranged from 0.52 to 1.03, and decreased significantly(not including rose sweet wines). The color intensity of red and rose dry wines after sterilization increased, whereas red and rose sweet wines decreased. The DPPH radical scavenging activity of red wines and rose wines ranged between 75.50 to 89.23%, and 36.60 to 56.54%, respectively. The total polyphenol contents were 57.51~182.63 mg%. Results of this study provide scientific information to establish the sterilization process of low alcohol wines.

완전협업을 위한 시설채소 영농조합의 최저규모 (A Study on the Minimun Farm Size of the Greenhouse Vegetable Cooperatives)

  • This paper is aims at identifying the minimum farm size of the greenhouse vegetable cooperatives. Farm cooperative is one of the institutional measurments for the seeking of economy of scale which could not be found in family farm. In this paper 5 cooperatives and 5 farmhouseholds which have been managed vegetable greenhouse were surveyed. The results are as follows; First, cooperatives had 29.3% less on the fixed costs, and received 43% more on prices than general vegetable farmhouseholds. This means that the cooperatives have economy of scale. Second, to establish full organized coopratives, cooperative sizes must be more than 4,582 pyung, considering the government target which will be loaned 80% goverment loan of total facility costs with no subsidy.

HPLC를 이용한 지역 농산물의 비타민 B6 함량 분석 (Determination of Vitamin B6 Content using HPLC in Agricultural Products cultivated in Local Areas in Korea)

  • Contents of water soluble vitamin $B_6$ in a total of 62 agricultural products cultivated in local areas in Korea were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector (HPLC/FLD). To verify the method of vitamin $B_6$ analysis, a quality control chart was formulated with in-house control using a mixture of broccoli and shiitake mushrooms. Among cereals, high content of vitamin $B_6$ measured $234.3{\sim}260.3{\mu}g/100g$ in dried mung bean and soybean. Vitamin $B_6$ content of non-glutinous and glutinous black rice measured $105.0{\mu}g/100g$ and $129.7{\mu}g/100g$, respectively. In vegetables, high content of vitamin $B_6$ were measured in passion fruit ($104.3{\mu}g/100g$), gat ($55.7{\sim}84.3{\mu}g/100g$), gomchwi ($31.3{\sim}88.0{\mu}g/100g$) and garlic ($72.7{\sim}98.3{\mu}g/100g$). Among fruits, gold kiwi 'Zespri' and green kiwi 'Hayward' revealed high vitamin $B_6$ content of $116.3{\mu}g/100g$ and $78.7{\mu}g/100g$, respectively. In persimmons, daebongsi had high vitamin $B_6$ content ($36.0{\sim}72.7{\mu}g/100g$) than bansi and sweet persimmon. Vitamin $B_6$ content in dried jujube and persimmon increased more than $86.7{\mu}g/100g$ compared to fresh materials. Among specialty crops, green tea powder ($64.7{\sim}251.0{\mu}g/100g$) and sansuyu ($172.3{\mu}g/100g$) revealed high content. Of mushrooms, vitamin $B_6$ content of Sparassis crispa ($139.3{\mu}g/100g$) was the highest. Vitamin $B_6$ content information of agricultural products in local areas in Korea collected from this experiment will be used as valuable preliminary data for grasp national nutritional status.

논잡초 발생양상 및 논 제초제 사용 실태조사 (Fact-finding Survey on Occurrence of Paddy Field Weeds and The Use of Paddy Field Herbicides at Farmer's Level in Korea)

  • 논잡초의 발생상황 및 농가수준에서 논 제초제 사용을 파악하여 농가지도의 기초자료로 활용코자 전국 농업인 1,029명을 대상으로 논에서의 우점잡초, 선호 제초제, 논제초제의 사용방법 등을 설문조사하였다. 논에 발생하는 우점잡초로는 피, 물달개비, 벗풀, 올챙이고랭이, 올방개 순이었으며, 제초제 저항성잡초로 의심되는 초종은 물달개비, 논피(강피), 올미 등으로 응답하였다. 논 제초제의 사용 선정은 자기 경험에 의한 것이 34.0%, 농약판매상 추천이 33.9%이었다. 농가에서 한번만 제초제를 처리하는 경우는 15.6%인 반면에 2회 처리하는 농가는 75.6%이었다. 농가에서 선호하는 제초제는 옥사디아존유제, 뷰타클로르입제, 뷰타클로르캡슐현탁제, 메페나셋 피라조설퓨론 에틸액상수화제, 옥사디아길유제 순이었으며, 경엽처리제 중에서는 벤타존 엠시피에이액제, 벤타존 사이할로포트 뷰틸미탁제가 각각 48.5%, 22.3%로 농가에서 많이 사용되는 제초제이었다.

IT 지원 조직의 조직 적합성에 관한 연구 : 농촌 IT 지원조직의 사례 (A Study on the Organizational Fit of IT Supporting Organizations : A Case of IT Supporting Agricultural Promotion Agencies)

  • The concrete information technology (IT) has affected ways for supporting agricultural products. However, studies relating IT to agriculture in a broader sense have not been prevalent. The objective of this study is to improve agencies' effectiveness and performance in the use and application of IT through understanding the organizational fit and misfit. This research applied a multi-contingency view to Korean IT supporting agricultural promotion agencies and it evaluated the competitiveness of these agencies with reference to the correspondence of factors (Goal, Strategy, Environment, Knowledge Exchange, Task Design, and Information System) affecting their performance with organizational goals. The results reveal that organizations with good performance show better organizational fit with their organizational goal. This study contributes to the ways of efficient IT management in agricultural organizations in Korea.
