An Efficient Agent Framework for Host-based Vulnerability Assessment System in Virtualization Environment (가상화 환경에서 호스트 기반 취약점 분석 시스템을 위한 효율적인 에이전트 프레임워크)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient agent framework for host-based vulnerability assessment system by analyzing the operational concept of traditional vulnerability assessment framework and proposed vulnerability assessment agent framework in virtualization environment. A proposed agent framework have concept by using the features of virtualization technology, it copy and execute checking agent in targeted virtual machines. In order to embody a propose agent framework, we design function block of checking agent and describe a vulnerability checking scenario of proposed agent framework. Also we develop pilot system for vulnerability checking scenario. We improve the shortcomings of the traditional vulnerability assessment system, such as unnecessary system load of the agent, inefficiency due to duplication agent installation. Moreover, the proposed agent framework is maximizing the scalability of the system because there is no agent installation when adding a targeted system.

  • Massive amount ofinformation is provided for the internet users. Therfore, the users are exposed even to the useless information. In this paper, a Intelligent Web-Agent system is present as a solution for this kind if users inconvinience. This Intelligent Web-Agent system i devised users to search by the keyword about which they get information and commend the sites which have more intensive relation with the examine keyword, judge by the users and the case-base constructed by the Intelligent Web-Agent system itself previously, so the users can access the essential web sites in short time. Intelligent Web-Agent system is compose of a interface-system and a learning system. According to the experiment, using the Intelligent Web-Agent System quicker than the case when not using the Intelligent Web-Agent System.

  • B2B EC에서 지능형 에이전트에 대한 요구의 증가와 함께 기업구매자가 직접 전자시장으로부터 구매하는 데스크탑 구매의 요구도 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 B2B 상에서 전자시장으로부터의 효율적인 구매를 지원하는 b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 설계 사례에 대해서 기술한다. b-Cart는 구매자가 소유하고 사용되는 구매자 사이트에 위치한 쇼핑카트로서, 본 논문에서는 B2B EC에서의 b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 요구 기능을 사용자식별(Identification), 사용자 다이알로그(User Dialog), 상품정보수집(Collection), 물품정보제거(Trashing), 개별 구매의사결정지원(Individual Purchase Decision Support), 조직 구매의사결정지원(Organizational Purchase Decision Support), 협상(Negotiation), 주문처리(Ordering), 지불처리(Payment), 진행사항 추적(Tracking), 구매기록(Recording), 전자구매시스템에 구매기록 전송(Record Transmission), 지식베이스에 새로운 지식 유지(Knowledge Maintenance)으로 정의하고, b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 메시지 인터페이스를 설계하고 시스템의 구조를 설계하여 프로토타입 시스템인 AgentB의 설계 사례를 소개한다. b-Cart 기반 에이전트시스템은 기업구매자의 전자시장으로부터 구매자 증가함에 따라 분산된 정보를 관리 해주고 통합적으로 구매처리를 해줄수 있는 효과적인 시스템이다. 향 후 B2B EC의 에이전트 시스템은 b-Cart를 기반으로 할 것으로 예측할 수 있다.

  • This paper propose not only MDIT(Mobile Digital Investment Trust) agent design for Trust Investment under Mobile E-commerce environment, but also the symmetric key algorithm 3BC(Bit, Byte and Block Cypher) and the public encryption algorithm F2mECC for solving the problems of memory capacity, CPU processing time, and security that mobile environment has. In Particular, the MDIT Security Agent is the banking security project that introduces the concept of investment trust in mobile e-commerce, This mobile security protocol creates a shared secrete key using F2mECC and then it's value is used for 3BC that is block encryption technique. The security and the processing speed of MDIT agent are enhanced using 3BC and F2mECC.

An Agent Gaming and Genetic Algorithm Hybrid Method for Factory Location Setting and Factory/Supplier Selection Problems

  • This paper first presents two supply chain design problems: 1) a factory location setting and factory selection problem, and 2) a factory location setting and factory/supplier selection problem. The first involves a number of location known retailers choosing one factory to supply their demands from a number of factories whose locations are to be determined. The goal is to minimize the transportation and manufacturing cost to satisfy the demands. The problem is then augmented into the second problem, where the procurement cost of the raw materials from a chosen material supplier (from a number of suppliers) is considered for each factory. Economic beneficial is taken into account in the cost evaluation. Therefore, the partner selections will influence the cost of the supply chain significantly. To solve these problems, an agent gaming and genetic algorithm hybrid method (AGGAHM) is proposed. The AGGAHM consecutively and alternatively enable and disable the advancement of agent gaming and the evolution of genetic computation. Computation results on solving a number of examples by the AGGAHM were compared with those from methods of a general genetic algorithm and a mutual frozen genetic algorithm. Results showed that the AGGAHM outperforms the methods solely using genetic algorithms. In addition, various parameter settings are tested and discussed to facilitate the supply chain designs.

  • An efficient management of product information is critical to the enhancement of corporate competitiveness. Product information is often distributed in term of organization, geography, and time. With the rapid increase in the use of Internet or its associated Web and intranets, it has been accelerating to integrate the distributed information. In this research, a Distributed, Open, Intelligent Product data Management system, namely DOI-PDM, is developed. This system deals with product information following the STEP standard, and its operation is controlled by a Web-based workflow management system. CORBA is employed to ensure interoperability among distributed objects. It is intended to achieve openness by using various standards, such s STEP, KQML, SGML, and WfMC specifications. One major difficulty in managing it needs also be properly modified according to the dynamics. It however is very hard to have a prior anticipation to the dynamics. It however is very hard to have a prior anticipation to the modification requirements in practice. We introduce a process adaptation model and a use of intelligent agent technology. An agent is delegated to modify process definitions during run-time. A method of agent implementation and a proper communication scheme among te agents are proposed. Also developed in this research is a STEP-based content search system which can co-work with the agents by providing relevant product information that the agents require.

  • This study aims to design the structure of User Interface Agent System through finding out the user's intention on internet search engine. When building an agent system by using the intelligent method. we can Introduce the RBR system that is generally accepted as an efficient means of solving the problems in Interface Agent System. The RBR system turned out to be a success due to the modularity, uniformity naturalness and the like, but it also has various problems such as bottle-neck in knowledge acquisition, memory absence and limited application. To get rid of such problems, the CBR cycle was introduced in this study.

  • Existing internet auction systems have adopted the form which gives a win to the auction bidder who proposes the top bid price for the goods posted on the auction board. But they haven't been satisfying the automatical one-step processing for user's convenience because they must require continuous care of user for bidding and checking as well as neglecting the convenience of user interface while participating in the electronic bidding system. The AuctionBot system of Michigan Univ. is known as the representative internet auction system. It has merit allowing the various kids of bidding. But it does not support automatic a process which can replaces what user has to do using an agent. To improve this kind of user interface, we propose an automatic bidding price strategy algorithm which composes the auction system using agent and design for auto-bidding system using agent so that I can replace user's bidding activity. This mechanism gives an auction system the efficient bidding price strategy.

  • Evaluation as learning is important for the learner competency test, and the applicable method is studied. Assessment is the role of diagnosing the current learner's status and facilitating learning through appropriate feedback. The system is insufficient to enable process-oriented evaluation in small educational institute. Focusing on becoming familiar with the AI through experience can end up simply learning how to use the tools or just playing with them rather than achieving ultimate goals of AI education. In a previous study, the experience way of AI education with PLAY model was proposed, but the assessment stage is insufficient. In this paper, we propose ELAS (Experiential K-12 AI education Learning Assessment System) for small educational institute. In order to apply the Assessment factor in in this system, the AI-factor is selected by researching the goals of the current SW education and AI education. The proposed system consists of 4 modules as Assessment-factor agent, Self-assessment agent, Question-bank agent and Assessment -analysis agent. Self-assessment learning is a powerful mechanism for improving learning for students. ELAS is extended with the experiential way of AI education model of previous study, and the teacher designs the assessment through the ELAS system. ELAS enables teachers of small institutes to automate analysis and manage data accumulation following their learning purpose. With this, it is possible to adjust the learning difficulty in curriculum design to make better for your purpose.

A 3D Audio-Visual Animated Agent for Expressive Conversational Question Answering

  • This paper reports on the ACQA(Animated agent for Conversational Question Answering) project conducted at LIMSI. The aim is to design an expressive animated conversational agent(ACA) for conducting research along two main lines: 1/ perceptual experiments(eg perception of expressivity and 3D movements in both audio and visual channels): 2/ design of human-computer interfaces requiring head models at different resolutions and the integration of the talking head in virtual scenes. The target application of this expressive ACA is a real-time question and answer speech based system developed at LIMSI(RITEL). The architecture of the system is based on distributed modules exchanging messages through a network protocol. The main components of the system are: RITEL a question and answer system searching raw text, which is able to produce a text(the answer) and attitudinal information; this attitudinal information is then processed for delivering expressive tags; the text is converted into phoneme, viseme, and prosodic descriptions. Audio speech is generated by the LIMSI selection-concatenation text-to-speech engine. Visual speech is using MPEG4 keypoint-based animation, and is rendered in real-time by Virtual Choreographer (VirChor), a GPU-based 3D engine. Finally, visual and audio speech is played in a 3D audio and visual scene. The project also puts a lot of effort for realistic visual and audio 3D rendering. A new model of phoneme-dependant human radiation patterns is included in the speech synthesis system, so that the ACA can move in the virtual scene with realistic 3D visual and audio rendering.
