As the Android smart phones become more popular, applications that handle users' personal data such as IDs or passwords and those that handle data directly related to companies' income such as in-game items are also increasing. Despite the need for such information to be protected, it can be modified by malicious users or leaked by attackers on the Android. The reason that this happens is because debugging functions of the Linux, base of the Android, are abused. If an application uses debugging functions, it can access the virtual memory of other applications. To prevent such abuse, access controls should be reinforced. However, these functions have been incorporated into Android O.S from its Linux base in unmodified form. In this paper, based on an analysis of both existing memory access functions and the Android environment, we proposes a function that verifies thread group ID and then protects against illegal use to reinforce access control. We conducted experiments to verify that the proposed method effectively reinforces access control. To do that, we made a simple application and modified data of the experimental application by using well-established memory editing applications. Under the existing Android environment, the memory editor applications could modify our application's data, but, after incorporating our changes on the same Android Operating System, it could not.

Currently the IoT (Internet of Things) environments and related technologies are being developed rapidly through the networks for connecting many intelligent objects. The IoT is providing artificial intelligent services combined with context recognition based knowledge and communication methods between human and objects and objects to objects. With the help of IoT technology, many research works are being developed using the C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport System) which uses road infrastructure and traveling vehicles as traffic control infrastructures and resources for improving and increasing driver's convenience and safety through two way communication such as bus-only lane and license plate recognition and road accidents, works ahead reports, which are eventually for advancing traffic effectiveness. In this paper, a system for deciding whether the traveling vehicle is possible or not to drive on bus-only lane in highway is researched using the lane and number plate recognition on the road in C-ITS traffic infrastructure environments. The number plates of vehicles on the straight ahead and sides are identified after the location of bus-only lane is discovered through the lane recognition method. Research results and experimental outcomes are presented which are supposed to be used by traffic management infrastructure and controlling system in future.
This study used laten class growth analysis to identify discrete developmental patterns of delinquent behaviors in adolescence. This present article also examined associations among these trajectories to determine how the development of delinquent behaviors relates to protective and risk factors, which include parental monitoring, attachment with parent, association with deviant peers, self-control, and negative stigma from others. Four-wave panel data from a Korea Youth Panel Study were used for the latent class growth model analysis. The sample consisted of 3,446 adolescents who were assessed at 4 measurement waves with approximately 1-year interval. Four trajectories of delinquent behaviors emerged: delinquency persistence, delinquency increaser, delinquency decreaser, normative group(almost no delinquent behaviors). Association with deviant peers had the most proximal strong influence on the probability of being in the delinquency increaser and delinquency persistence group compared, noed to the normative group. Parental monitoring, self-efficacy and negative stigma also differentiated the four delinquent behavior trajectories from one another after controllig for socio-demographic variables. The study suggested that there is a significant heterogeneity in the timing and change rate of delinquency progression. Adolescent delinquency prevention and intervention programs will need to consider this heterogeneity and enhance attention to protective and risk factors depending on the subpopulation.
According to the changes of the medical environment of the times, it is necessary to discuss the issues of the doctor's medical guidance and to conduct continuous research so that alternatives can be prepared systematically. Furthermore, in order to enhance the professionalism of radiological technologists and to develop the medical technician system, the new Radiological Technologist Independent Act has been established, which contains the overall contents of the scope of work, professional qualifications, and specialized education of radiological technologists, and provides quality medical services to patients through professional procedures and treatment. In order to increase the level of medical care, the purpose, definition, mission, role, and scope of work specified in the Medical Act, Medical Service Technologists, etc. Act, the Enforcement Decree, and the Enforcement Rules were variously analyzed and new directions were presented. First, the definition of a medical technician should use a generic term so that the factors of conflict and prejudice could be resolved. Second, change the doctor's guide to doctor's prescription; and then legislate the authority to sign and write medical records after examination by radiological technologists, thereby prohibiting unlicensed technicians that seriously endanger patient safety. Third, an accurate definition of radiological technologists' roles should be established; not only selection and management of radiological technologists' work but also procedures and treatment for each radiology field should be specified to suit the current medical system. Fourth, a professional radiological technologists' qualification system and a specialized education system should be established in order to secure human resources that could provide patients trust in procedures and treatment based on professional knowledge and experience in the field of radiology. Fifth, the Education and Evaluation Institute should be operated in Korea education system to educate the professional knowledge and competency for students. In addition, it is necessary to in-depth analysis of foreign cases could be applied to the medical system and education system in Korea; it could strive to nurture systematic human resources.
Recently, as the number of patients with dementia using nursing homes increases, the interest about the quality of care services is increasing. Job satisfaction of caregivers is very important factor in the quality of care service. In addition, as perception of human rights is heightened, human rights behavior in nursing homes is also recognized as an important factor. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between job satisfaction and human rights behavior, job stress, and social support of dementia workers who have significant influence on quality of care service. For this purpose, 210 questionnaires were collected from 300 dementia workers working in the elderly nursing home, day night care center, and domiciliary visit care center in Gyeonggi province. After excluding 13 questionnaires, the questionnaires were analysed by AMOS and SPSS 21.0. The results of the analysis are following. It was found that job stress significantly affects the social support directly (-.276). Also, social support significantly affects job satisfaction (.315). On the other hand, human rights advocacy has a direct effect on job satisfaction (.175) and an indirect effect (.102), showed a total effect of (.277). This shows that social support partially mediates human rights advocacy and job satisfaction. Job stress had a direct effect on job satisfaction(-.217) and an indirect effect(-.095), indicating a total effect of (-.312), and social support partially mediated job stress and job satisfaction Could know. The results of this study suggest that in order to improve the job satisfaction of the dementia workers, it is necessary to increase the human rights advocacy behavior and reduce the job stress in an environment that recognizes the social support.
The Cheondeok-Song (religious songs of Cheondo-Gyo) of the Japanese colonial period shown on Cheondo-Gyohwe-Weolbo, the monthly magazine of Cheondo-Gyo Church were examined in this paper. The results are as follows. There are scores of songs, lyrics, and articles related to Cheondeok-Song in the monthly magazine. The five-tone scale or Korean traditional rhythm style was partly used, but western music form was dominant in most of the songs. Especially the four-part form of Christian hymns became usual since 1931. This shows how people thought of the new trends. The reception of the new trends being emphasized, but they recognized tradition as an object of overcoming rather than of succeeding. The lyrics contain religious contents and the spirit of the period to restore national self-respect and contribute to the world peace through overcoming Japanese imperialism. But the rhythm of seven and five syllables which is suspected to have been introduced by Japan was spread after the 1920s. Cheondeok-Song have been sung in the three grand anniversaries and other anniversaries, the Prayer-day, in Cheondo-Gyo church services on Sunday, ceremonies, and in lecture. There are various kinds of songs and their status is very high. Especially, Cheondeok-Song have been used actively in mission works and edification for women. Cheondeok-Song actively reflected the domestic and international trends and the demands of that times. They could sing self perfection through enlightenment and also the social reform based on it. These are the reasons why I think Cheondeok-Song of those days are so important. Cheondeok-Song reflected modern elements actively, but couldn't succeed the national form and the traditional elements properly. The problem of cultural identity is not only a specific group's but also that of the whole humanity of maintaining cultural diversity. This is also a task that Cheondo-Gyo Cheondeok-Song have to solve in the future.

Recently, heart rate signal, which is one of biological signals, have been used in various fields related to healthcare. Conventionally, most of the proposed heart rate signal detection methods are contact type methods, but there is a problem of discomfort that the subject have to contact with the device. In order to solve the problem, detection study by non-contact method has been progressed recently. The detected heart rate signal can be used for finger vein liveness detection and various application using heart rate. In this paper, we propose a method to obtain heart rate signal by using finger vein imaging system. The proposed method detected the signal from the changes of the brightness value in the time domain of the infrared finger vein images and converted it into the frequency domain using the image processing algorithm. After the conversion, we removed the noise not related to the heart rate signal through band-pass filtering. In order to evaluate the accuracy of the signal, we analyzed the correlation with the signal obtained simultaneously with the finger vein acquisition device and contact type PPG sensor approved by KFDA. As a result, it was possible to confirm that the heart rate signal detected in non-contact method through the finger vein image coincides with the waveform of actual heart rate signal.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: There has been an increased interest in determining calcium magnesium, sodium, and potassium's distinct effects on hypertension over the past decade, yet they simultaneously regulate blood pressure. We aimed at examining the association of dietary calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium independently and jointly with hypertension using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data from 2007 to 2014. MATERIALS/METHODS: The associations were examined on a large cross-sectional study involving 16684 US adults aged>20 years, using multivariate analyses with logistical models. RESULTS: Sodium and calcium quartiles assessed alone were not associated with hypertension. Potassium was negatively associated with hypertension in the highest quartile, 0.64 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.48-0.87). When jointly assessed using the high and low cut-off points, low sodium and corresponding high calcium, magnesium, and potassium intake somewhat reduced the odds of hypertension 0.39 (95% CI, 0.20-0.76). The sodium-to-potassium ratio was positively associated with hypertension in the highest quartile1.50 (95% CI, 1.11-2.02). When potassium was adjusted for sodium intake and sodium-to-potassium ratio assessed among women, increased odds of hypertension were reported in the highest quartile as 2.02 (95% CI, 1.18-3.34) and 1.69 (95% CI, 1.12-2.57), respectively. The association of combined minerals on hypertension using dietary goals established that men meeting the reference intakes for calcium and exceeding for magnesium had reduced odds of hypertension 0.51 (95% CI, 0.30-0.89). Women exceeding the recommendations for both calcium and magnesium had the lower reduced odds of 0.30 (95% CI, 0.10-0.69). CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that the studied minerals' association on hypertension is stronger when jointly assessed, mostly after gender stratification. As compared to men, women increased their risk of hypertension even with a low sodium intake. Women would also reasonably reduce their risk of developing hypertension by increasing calcium and magnesium intake. In comparison, men would somewhat be protected from developing hypertension with calcium intake meeting the dietary goals and magnesium exceeding the nutritional goals.
The purpose of this study was to compare participants' perceived emotion following harmonic changes in music. In this study, 144 participants, aged 19 to 29 years, listened to music online that included low to high harmonic progression in tonal music (major-minor). After listening to each piece of music, participants were asked to rate 4 items using a 7-point Likert scale: emotional potency, arousal, degree to which the harmony impacted the listener's emotions, and listener's preference for the music. There were significant differences between each of the four items upon the level of harmonic progression. When the participants were divided into two groups (i.e., those with a background in music and those with no background in music), there was a significant difference between the groups in terms of emotional potency, but there was no significant interaction effect. This study confirmed that various emotional responses in listeners can be induced by controlling the exogenous variables in musical excerpts. Based on this, it is expected that the harmonic progression level can be provided to the client to be used as an effective therapeutic tool in music therapy intervention.
Flipped learning is an instructional approach that reverses the traditional order of in-class and after-class activities. It entails students studying course materials before attending class, and then utilizing class time for completing homework tasks. Due to collaborative support available from teachers and peers, flipped learning has gained extensive adoption in computer science and engineering courses, enabling students to effectively engage in homework assignments. Nevertheless, students are responsible for studying class materials independently, which can limit their understanding of advanced topics. We propose an approach that combines both flipped learning and the traditional method, allowing them to mutually enhance each other. In the proposed approach, students acquire foundational concepts prior to attending class, and subsequently delve into advanced topics during classroom sessions through lectures and guidance provided by the teacher. Afterward, students collaborate with their peers to solve problems that involve the application of the concepts they have learned, and exchange a variety of solutions and perspectives. We implemented the proposed approach in four computer science and engineering classes, spanning one to four semesters and observed an enhancement in students' comprehension and satisfaction levels. We anticipate implementation of the proposed approach across various computer science and engineering courses, while enhancing their overall quality.
