The Study of Point of Purchase Advertising from a Strategic Perspective (광고전략적 측면에서 본 구매시점 광고)

  • Many researchers and advertisers have approached point of purchase advertising in various ways. Visual analysis. an overemphasis of design concept. or simple classification have usually dominated these reports. However. for point of purchase advertising to be considered a part of marketing strategy. its effectiveness can be more clearely analyzed. What is the most appropriate situation to effectively use point of purchase advertising\ulcorner Which category of product is most sensitive to point of purchase advertising\ulcorner Moreover, what is the relationship between point of purchase advertising and impulsive buying\ulcorner These questions will hopefully be addressed in this paper. First of all. before tackling these issues, former research on point of purchase advertising need to be classified. Also we will show how modern technology has been affected point of purchase advertising. Section6 will discuss the relationship between impulsive buying and point of purchase advertising. Finally, successful examples of point of purchase advertising in the U.S. will be introduced to support the conc] usion.

  • This study analyzed the creative properties of public service advertisements and public content in outdoor advertising. The results of a case analysis focusing on outdoor advertisements for fundraising are as follows. First, government ministries were mainly found as advertisers. Second, most of the advertising messages were about policy promotion by the government and public institutions, with few public content or public interest messages. Third, in terms of expression, text took up more weight than visual elements, and illustrations were the main visual expression element. This proves that the public content of domestic outdoor advertisements mainly has a strong purpose of conveying direct information.

The Relationship between Type of Ad Framing and Brand Attachment (광고 프레이밍 유형과 브랜드 애착의 관계 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to understand the relationship between type of advertising and brand attachment. We divide advertising type into loss and gain frame and examine the effect on brand attachment, The effect of scarcity advertising on brand attachment and the effects of interaction effects on brand attachment were examined. The results showed that the effect of the loss and gain frame on brand attachment was not statistically significant. It also showed that scarcity was not emphasized or emphasized or had no effect on brand attachment. That is, the more emphasis on gain in advertising frame and the less pressure on scarcity, the more effective ad type for brand attachment.

A Study on the Message Orientation of Newspaper Advertisements - With a focus on apartment sales ads in Busan (신문광고의 메시지 지향성에 관한 연구 -부산시 아파트 분양광고를 중심으로)

  • This study set out to examine message orientation in advertising expression through the content analysis of apartment sales advertisements in Busan. For this purpose, the study analyzed newspaper ads about apartment sales in the Busan area in terms of advertising appeal methods and message types. Advertising appeal methods(rational and emotional appeal) and message orientation(environmental, emotional, investment, and functional orientation) were categorized according to brands(nationwide and local brands). The findings show that most of apartment sales ads in Busan used a rational appeal method. While nationwide brands used rational and emotional appeal in similar percentage, local brands used a lot of rational appeal. Of the types of advertising message orientation, investment and emotional orientation recorded the highest percentage. Messages of investment orientation to show economic profit or premium were used most, being followed by messages of emotional orientation to show pride and happiness. These findings were interpreted to display differences in strategies for advertising expressions among brands. The findings are expected to offer useful practical implications for message strategies for apartment sales ads.

  • This study is to seek to find the importance of next digital marketing factors by using AHP method and analyze comparison between an advertising expert and a non-advertising expert. In results, the relative importance ranking is as follows; combination (0.26), transformation (0.259), optimization (0.243), and technology (0.238). The relative importance ranking of sub-factors is as follows: artificial intelligence and maching learning (0.086), big data (0.085), and contents curation (0.060). While the relative importance of combination and optimization for an advertising expert is higher than for non-advertising expert, the relative importance of transformation and technology for non-advertising is higher than for an advertising expert. This study provides managerial implication to build digital strategy based on these result.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of advertising section of the daily newspaper through content analysis. From April 2015 to March 2017, a total of 1,927 advertisements were analyzed by the newspaper ethics committee, and the following results were obtained. Firstly, most types of features (advertising) received more attention than warnings. Secondly, we can confirm that the amount of advertisement in section (featured) of major daily newspapers is gradually increasing, and section advertisement is appeared in major business districts. Third, there were many violations in the practice guidelines of the newspaper code of ethics as the media's responsibility and press coverage. Finally, in the case of certain companies and products, if you do not follow the principles of publication for profit and publicity, you may need to make your own efforts to protect the credibility and fairness of newspapers, and more autonomous guidelines.

  • This study attempted to examine the problems of the expression and format of native advertisements appearing on various platforms and to prepare a plan to regulate them. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted to those in charge of advertising practice and examined. First, as a problem with the expression and format of native advertisements, it was considered that the congestion and deception of indiscriminate native advertisements appearing on various platforms could bring negative perceptions to consumers. For the second user's interaction, it was considered that customized advertising expressions through targeting by platform should be produced. Third, regarding the regulation of native advertisements, it was suggested that regulatory measures for consumer protection should be prepared and that market autonomy should be left to it. A strategic operation plan for native advertising according to various platforms should be prepared.

  • This study examines the communication status and strategies of geological resource related companies in Korea through the comparison with American companies. Through this analysis, this study is to draw the domestic companies' characteristics and problems on communication, and even to suggest how to execute the communication about geo-technologies at national level. The results indicate that geo-technologies related compaies in Korea don't use a lot of advertising communication as means of providing informations about corporate itself, corporate activities, and it's product, etc. And the companies using advertising communication tend to execute more organization advertising focusing on corporate image than product advertising. The advertising utilized by geological resource related companies is usually targeted at consumers, they don't use advertising endorser actively. And all the companies analyzed in this study have their own website and run it. This study provides some recommendations on communication strategies and executions for various geo-technologies related organizations.   • In general, service failure occurs inevitably and the customers who experienced the greater dissatisfaction have the higher expectations of service recovery. However, most of the previous studies have focused on the evaluation and risk factors of pre-service quality. Thus, this study is contrary to the numerous previous studies and focus on the effectiveness of mobile application advertisement users' perceived perception on service recovery after service fails. A research model presented in this study is based on the Equity Theory and deeply evaluated the effectiveness of Distributive Justice, Interactional Justice, and Authenticity Relevance on Service Recovery. The survey of this study was conducted among 286 users who have experienced a services recovery of mobile application advertising. As a result, among all the factors of users of mobile application advertising, Distributive Justice, Interactive Justice, and Relevance have a positive impact to Satisfaction. In addition, Distributive Justice, Authenticity and Satisfaction also have a positive impact to Trust. Ultimately, Satisfaction and Trust have a positive impact to Service Recovery. The results of this study are expected as a reference for presenting a new business model for mobile application advertising industry, reducing business risk and enriching the related researches.
