Maxent 모형을 이용한 서식지 잠재력 평가 - 하천으로부터의 거리, 하천의 차수, 토지이용을 중심으로- (Habitat Potential Evaluation Using Maxent Model - Focused on Riparian Distance, Stream Order and Land Use -)

  • As the interest on biodiversity has increased around the world, researches about evaluating potential for habitat are also increasing to find and comprehend the valuable habitats. This study focus on comprehending the significance of stream in evaluating habitat's potential. The purpose of this study is to evaluate habitat potential with applying stream as a main variable, and to comprehend the relationship between the variables and habitat potential. Basin is a unit that has hydrological properties and dynamic interaction with ecosystem. Especially, biodiversity and suitability of habitat in basin area has direct correlation with stream. Existing studies also are proposing for habitat potential evaluation in basin unit, they applied forest, slope and road as main variables. Despite stream is considered the most important factor in basin area, researchers haven't applied stream as a main variable. Therefore, in this study, three variables that can demonstrate hydrological properties are selected, which are, riparian distance, stream order and land use disturbance, and evaluate habitat potential. Habitat potential is analyzed by using Maxent (Maximum entropy model), and vertebrate's presence data is used as dependent variables and stream order map and land cover map is used as base data of independent variables. As a result of analysis, habitat potential is higher at riparian and upstream area, and lower at frequently disturbed area. Result indicates that adjacent to stream, upstream, and less disturbed area is the habitat that vertebrate prefer. In particular, mammals prefer adjacent area of stream and forest and reptiles prefer upriver area. Birds prefer adjacent area of stream and midstream and amphibians prefer adjacent area of stream and upriver. The result of this research could help to establish habitat conservation strategy around basin unit in the future.

자동화계측을 통한 지하철 궤도 변형 모니터링연구 (Deformation Monitoring of Subway Track using by Automatic Measurement)

  • 현재 우리나라는 지하철 선로를 인접하여 대규모, 대심도 굴착시공이 이루어지고 있다. 인접굴착공사 시 흙막이 구조물 및 지하구조물의 안전성 확보가 매우 중요하므로 자동화계측 시스템을 도입하여 지하철에 대한 안전성을 관리하고 있다. 인접굴착공사 시 지하철 궤도 변형은 열차주행안정성에 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, 이는 열차 탈선사고와 연결될 수 있는 인자이다. 그러나 현재 자동화계측 시스템을 이용한 지하철 궤도 안전성평가는 측정된 데이터의 최댓값에만 의존하여, 이상거동을 과소, 과대평가할 수 있는 기법이다. 따라서 자동화계측 시스템 결과의 활용도를 개선시킬 수 있는 방법이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 방대한 양의 지하철 궤도 변형 측정결과를 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 기법인 가우시안 확률밀도함수 분석기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 방대한 양의 데이터를 확률통계 분석기법을 이용하여 인접굴착공사에 따른 지하철 궤도 변형에 대한 안전성평가를 수행하였다.

  • In the case of a vibration sensitive equipment, it require a vibration free environment to provide its proper function, therefore, it is very important to predict precisely vibration environment of microelectronics production facility due to adjacent blast work. However, it is not easy to evaluate a quantitative vibration response of structure due blast because it can be determined by the characteristics of vibration sources, propagation through rock and soil and dynamic properties of building. In this paper, vibration influence evaluation of micro-electronic Production building induced from adjacent blast activity was performed by real measurement data obtained on ground and structure at same time. And blast vibration allowable limit on ground was supposed by measurement data analysis in order to avoid operation error of precision equipments

해상풍력발전단지 간의 전력계통 연계에 관한 경제성 분석 연구 (Economic Evaluation of Power Grid Interconnection between Offshore Wind Power Plants)

  • An offshore wind power plant (WPP) is very expensive and different from an onshore wind power system in many ways. There has been a continuous increase in the capacity of the offshore WPPs. Therefore it is essential to analyze the feasibility and reliability of the offshore wind power to optimize their redundancy. Besides, it is very important to study a planning for grid interconnection of adjacent offshore WPPs. This paper proposes a economic evaluation method to interconnect with adjacent offshore substations in offshore wind power grid. Also, we suggest the probabilistic reliability method to calculate a probabilistic power output of the wind turbine and a cost of the expected energy not supplied that is used as the reliability index of the power system.

Prognostic Analysis of Stage I Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Abutting Adjacent Structures on Preoperative Computed Tomography

  • Background: Early non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that abuts adjacent structures requires careful evaluation due to its potential impact on postoperative outcomes and prognosis. We examined stage I NSCLC with invasion into adjacent structures, focusing on the prognostic implications after curative surgical resection. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the records of 796 patients who underwent curative surgical resection for pathologic stage IA/IB NSCLC (i.e., visceral pleural invasion only) at a single center from 2008 to 2017. Patients were classified based on tumor abutment and then reclassified by the presence of visceral pleural invasion. Clinical characteristics, pathological features, and survival rates were compared. Results: The study included 181 patients with abutting NSCLC (22.7% of all participants) and 615 with non-abutting tumors (77.3%). Those with tumor abutment exhibited higher rates of non-adenocarcinoma (26.5% vs. 9.9%, p<0.01) and visceral/lymphatic/vascular invasion (30.4%/33.1%/12.7% vs. 8.5%/22.4%/5.7%, respectively; p<0.01) compared to those without abutment. Multivariable analysis identified lymphatic invasion and male sex as risk factors for overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) in stage I NSCLC measuring 3 cm or smaller. Age, smoking history, vascular invasion, and recurrence emerged as risk factors for OS, whereas the presence of non-pure ground-glass opacity was a risk factor for DFS. Conclusion: NSCLC lesions 3 cm or smaller that abut adjacent structures present higher rates of various risk factors than non-abutting lesions, necessitating evaluation of tumor invasion into adjacent structures and lymph node metastasis. In isolation, however, the presence of tumor abutment without visceral pleural invasion does not constitute a risk factor.

터널굴착 현장에 인접한 지상구조물의 안전성 평가용 전문가 시스템의 개발 (1) -전문가 시스템 개발 및 신뢰성 검증을 중심으로 (Development of a Neural Network Expert System for Safety Analysis of Structures Adjacent to Tunnel Excavation Sites Focused on Development and Reliability Evaluation of Expert System)

  • 터널굴착으로 발생되는 지반침하는 지상구조물의 변형을 유발할 수도 있으므로 터널굴착 전에 지상구조물의 안전성 평가가 요구된다. 이러한 변형에 대한 구조물의 안전성을 평가하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 터널현장의 지반침하를 예측하고, 이를 기반으로 지상구조물의 안정성 평가를 수행하는 전문가 시스템 NESASS(Neural Network Expert System for Adjacent Structure Safety analysis)를 개발하였다. NESASS는 인공신경망을 이용, 터널현장의 지반침하 계측자료로 작성된 데이터베이스 자료를 학습자료로 하여 학습을 수행하고, 이를 기반으로 터널현장의 지반침하 트라프를 추론한다. 또한 일반구조물의 안전성을 평가하는데 이용되고 있는 인자, 즉 각변형(angular distortion)과 처징비 (deflection ratio) 등을 이용하여 지상건물의 안전성을 평가함과 아울러 Dulacska의 균열평가 모델 을 이용하여 건물의 균열양상을 예측한다. 본 연구에서는 서울지하철 현장을 대상으로 113개 계측측선의 지반침하 계측자료를 수집 정리하고 지반침하의 주 영향인자들을 선정하여. 이들을 데이터베이스화하였다. 그리고 인공신경망 구조에 관련된 매개변수 연구를 수행하여 구축된 데이터베이스에 대한 최적 인공신경망 모델을 선정하였다. 또한 현장자료와의 비교를 통하여 NESASS의 지반침하 예측능력을 조사하고, 현장자료를 이용하여 지상구조물에 대한 안전성 평가의 신뢰성을 평가함으로써 NESASS의 실무 적용성을 확인 하였다.

인접건축물의 진동제어를 위한 MR감쇠기의 위치 선정에 관한 연구 (Performance Evaluation of Vibration Control of Adjacent Buildings According to Installation Location of MR damper)

  • 최근 인접 건축물의 진동제어와 관련된 연구가 몇몇 연구자에 의하여 수행되고 있으며 그리고 구조물의 지진동 제어를 위하여 준능동 감쇠기의 일종인 MR 감쇠기가 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MR 감쇠기의 위치에 따른 인접 건축물의 지진동 제어성능을 분석하여 MR 감쇠기의 설치에 대한 최적의 위치를 선정하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위하여 인접한 20층과 15층 건축물을 예제 구조물로 사용하였으며 이 예제 구조물은 서로 다른 고유진동수를 갖게 하였으며 예제 구조물의 지진동 제어를 위하여 Groundhook 제어기법을 적용하였다. 예제 구조물의 수치해석에 의한 지진응답 분석결과, 변위응답 제어를 위하여 인접 건축물의 최상층에 MR 감쇠기를 설치하는 것이 제어성능에 있어서 우수하며 가속도응답을 제어하기 위해서는 인접 건축물의 중간층에 MR 감쇠기를 설치하는 것이 우수한 제어성능을 보이고 있다. MR 감쇠기를 중간층에 설치할 경우에, 변위응답과 가속도응답을 동시에 제어가 가능하다. 따라서 건축물의 제어 목표에 따라서 MR 감쇠기 설치위치를 적절하게 선정해야 할 것이다.

  • Technical countermeasures against debris flow should be established upon the risk level of the target location. Risk of debris flow should consider the hazard imposed by debris flow and vulnerability of the facilities to debris flow. In this research, we have defined the target location for risk evaluation and suggested scoring method of hazard of debris flow and vulnerability of road to debris flow. By defining risk rank into 6 categories in terms of possibility of damage during rainfall and using the risk scores of 46 debris flow cases, we have suggested risk ranking matrix. The method can be used in ranking the drainage basin adjacent to road by simply determining the hazard with vulnerability score and can be used for planning the debris flow countermeasures.

  • In Pusan Harbour, new port development projects are implemented such as the Extended Terminal adjacent to the Gamman Terminal, Pusan New Port, the Navy $\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$ piers, etc. which will require new marine traffic environments in the Passage I of Pusan Harbour. Specially, the turning basin of the Extended Terminal adjacent to the Gamman Terminal has been designed to overlay the Passage I of Pusan Harbour, which will interrupt the inbound traffic flow and the results will be worried to decrease the efficiency of port operation. Therefore, this paper will be aimed to evaluate the traffic congestion in the Pusan Passage I due to the opening of new ports within Pusan Harbour in 2006 and 2011 by using computer simulation based the queueing theory.

  • Vertebroplasty has drawn much attention as a medical treatment for the compression fracture of spine, which strengthens the vertebral body and corrects deformity, and relieves pain in patients by injecting bone cement. However vertebroplasty can cause fracture on adjacent vertebra due to relative stiffness change. This study involves the biomechanical evaluation of the vertebroplasty especially on adjacent vertebral body. The finite element method has been employed to analyze the patient who was treated vertebroplasty under static and dynamic loading. For this study, a three-dimentioal model of the three-level ligamentous lumbar segment ($L1{\sim}L3$)is created from medical image data (CT)and compared with the experimental results in vitro.
