As part of efforts to internally strengthen the research ethics capacity of the Korean Academy of Health Policy and Management, we have compiled research ethics issues that are frequently encountered in public health researches. Firstly, when reusing research reports or dissertations as papers, efforts should be made to avoid unfair duplicate publication. Compliance with the institutional review board exemption process is required, and additional efforts should be devoted during the text recycling process to prevent self-plagiarism or unjust duplicate publication.

A system dynamics project is going on for forecasting automobile market in Korea. The project is made up of three stages, and the first stage has been wrapped up. As the first attempt, most efforts have been focused on the sound foundation rather than the exact forecast. The model consists of three sectors; the supply sector, the demand sector, and the population sector. The supply sector is a simple stock and flow diagrams representing the supply capacities of all automobile types. The major effort is made on the demand sector and the population sector. The demands are divided into three categories; replacement demands, new demands, and additional demands. The model applies “one car per person" concept, and assumes there will be no additional demands for a while. The replacement demands are calculated based on a simple stock and flow diagram. The new demands are calculated via Bass models; each bass model represents a diffusion for each age group. The population is divided into 101 age groups (age 0 to age 100). The model has been calibrated with past 10 year data (1990 - 1999), and tested for the next two years (2000-2001). The results ware acceptable, although a fine tuning is required. Now the second stage is going on, and most of efforts are made how to incorporate the economic and cultural factors.

본 연구는 기존 연구에서 초점을 맞춘 1기간 모형과는 달리 2기간 모형에서 위험회피성향의 증가에 따라 노력의 투입에 따라 손실의 크기와 발생확률이 동시에 감소하는 손실통제 노력의 변화를 살펴보고 있다. 노력의 투입과 손실의 발생시점간의 시점 분리를 고려한 본 연구의 가정은 장기에서 위험회피성향의 영향을 관찰할 수 있게 해준다. 그 결과 첫째, 손실함수 및 비용함수에 추가적인 제약이 존재했던 단기 모형인 기존 연구와는 달리 장기에서는 위험회피성향의 증가가 손실통제 노력의 증가를 가져왔다. 둘째, 손실통제 노력을 자가보험 노력 및 자가보호 노력으로 세분화해 볼 때, 위험회피성향의 증가가 자가보험 노력은 증가시키나 자가보호에 미치는 영향이 불분명하던 기존 단기모형의 결과와는 달리, 장기에서는 위험회피성향의 증가로 인해 자가보험 노력 및 자가보호 노력이 모두 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 평균이 0인 배경위험이 존재하는 경우 2기간 모형에서 위험회피성향의 증가에 따라 손실통제 노력이 증가할 충분조건은 효용함수가 신중성 조건을 나타내는 것이다.

본 연구는 사회적기업을 대상으로 사회적기업의 사회적가치 실현노력이 사회적기업의 성과에 미치는 영향 및 사회적 지원환경의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 분석을 위하여 사회적기업진흥원에서 사회적기업을 대상으로 실시한 '사회적경제 지역생태계 구축을 위한 지역자원 조사' 공개데이터 자료를 이용하여 통계 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 사회적기업의 사회적가치실현노력은 사회적기업의 사회적 성과와 경제적성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 기업의 외부지원환경은 사회적가치실현 노력과 사회적 성과 간 각각 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 Process for SPSS 4.0을 통한 매개효과의 통계적 유의성 검증결과, 외부지원환경은 사회적 가치실현노력과 사회적 성과 간 매개효과가 유의미했으나 경제적 성과에서는 매개효과가 비유의적이었다. 이로써 사회적 가치실현노력이라는 사회적자본이 사회적 성과에 미칠 수 있는 외부지원환경의 역할을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

In designing the high-speed railroad track, it is important to utilize appropriate track components to maintain uniform stiffness and ensure track alignment within the tolerance set for that system. In this regard, continuous welded rails (CWRs) were introduced to the Korean railways. Yet the installation of CWRs can result in an adverse impact due to the track/structure interaction on bridge sections yielding variations in the stiffness at the expansion joints. It may also impose additional axial force, generate excessive stress or deflection on track, and loosen the ballast at the ends as a bridge deck contracts or expands owing to a thermally-induced dynamic response. The risk is even greater in a long bridge deck, resulting in track longitudinal irregularities, deteriorating passenger's comfort, and increasing maintenance efforts. This study evaluates the performance of ZLR and their impact on track longitudinal irregularities through the track measuring results on a test section installed the ZLR in order to minimize the thermally-induced responses and the maintenance efforts for the high speed railway bridges.

The purpose of the study is to investigate factors influencing the adoption of environment-friendly agriculture in greenhouse vegetable production of Jeonnam province. An interview survey were conducted during 2008, including six counties: Gwansanku of Gwangju, Gwangyang, Goheung, Damyang, Boseong, and Suncheon. Major crops grown in surveyed area were green peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, and watermelons. Logit model results show that adopters of environment-friendly agriculture are more likely to participate in extensional education programs, attend educational programs on environment-friendly agriculture, have greater cultivated acreage, and have larger agriculture-only-designated farmland. However the adopters are less likely to have greater number of family members participating in farming, and live Goheung county. Efforts should be made in extensional education programs to lead more vegetable growers to adopt environment-friendly agriculture. Policy makers' additional efforts should be followed to increase adoption rate of environment-friendly agriculture in lower adopted areas.

In Korea, telemedicine is still under the beginning stage, but we expect that the developing 'Information Highway' will make this technology more common place and more easily used in coming soon. Currently, three hospitals are providing telemedicine services with their subsidiary hospitals which are far away from their remote place. However, the fee schedule of telemedicine services are not well-settled down, of course not reimbursed through current health insurance system. This study aims to develop new payment system for medical services provided through telemedicaine system. To design appropriate fee schedule for telemedicine services, we, first, review the current insurance payment system and telemedicine system both in domestic and foreign countries focusing on its payment system. A framework of telemedicine payment system is proposed in following steps based on information we acquired from this stage. Second. We decide the span of cost items which should be covered by telemedicine payment scheme. In hear, we suggest payment method for telemedicine services should be designed as dual structure which are telemedicine fee that should be reimbursed through payment scheme and any costs related to capital investment that should not be covered by payment system. Which is, payment system for telemedicine services should cover only service-related costs and any costs related to capital investment should be generated through third party such as government, health insurance association, etc. Finally, we suggest new fee schedules for telemedicine services. The key issues on developing telemedicine fee schedules are related with the determination of appropriate additional rate($\alpha$). The reasonable additional rate($\alpha$) must determine through careful evaluation of any additional efforts(e. g. : additional work hours which are related to providing telemedicine services). This study shows the process of how to determine appropriate additional rate($\alpha$).

Fly-wheel, Gimbal antenna, CMG, Spaceborne cyrocooler generate micro-vibration during their on-orbit operation as well as implementing their own function. To comply with the mission requirement of high resolution observation satellite, additional technical efforts have been required to isolate the micro-vibration derived from such payloads by applying the vibration isolator. In this study, we proposed a passive isolator using SMA mesh washer, which guarantees the structural safety of both micro-vibration disturbance source and itself under harsh launch vibration loads without an additional holding mechanism and the micro-vibration isolation performance on orbit environment. To verify the micro-vibration isolation performance of the proposed vibration isolator, we performed the micro-vibration isolation measurement test using the dedicated micro-vibration measurement device proposed in this study.

Recently, several branched-nucleosides have been synthesized and evaluated as potent antitumor or antiviral agents. Among them, 4'${\alpha}$--C-ethenyl and 4'${\alpha}$-C-ethynyl nucleosides which having an additional double or triple bond at 4'-position were reported to be as potent antiviral and anlitumor activities. Encouraged by these interesting structures and antiviral activities, it was determined to synthesize novel classes of nucleosides comprising branched carbocyclic nucleosides with an additional aryl group at 4'${\alpha}$-position using versatile reiterative three-step sequences from simple acyclic precursor '2-hydroxyacetophenone. Our efforts toward the synthesis of novel nucleosides analogues are reported herein.

For fast capacitance computation, a simple mesh refinement technique on MLFMA(Multi-Level Fast Multipole Algorithm) is proposed The triangular meshes are refined mainly in the area which has heavy charge density. The technique is applied to the capacitance extraction of three dimensional conductors. The results show good convergence with comparable accuracy. An adaptive technique concerned with MLFMA is useful to reduce computation time and the number of elements without additional computational efforts in large three dimensional problems.
