  • This paper presents the results of analysis for the Flexible Computer Integrated construction(FCIC) system to adapt CALS on the construction industry. Acquisition and supply process of the system are represented by IDEFO function models and FCIC information systems are briefly described in this paper. The model presented here can be used as a reference for the development of CALS system.

  • This paper describes an improved FES system to restorp paralyzed extremities in spinal-cord-injured patients. By using time-division method in the proposed FES system, we can reduce the size and weight of system despite of increasing channels. We designed a DC-DC converter to adapt the condition of each patient. We could reduce the cost by using easily available apparatus like an IBM-PC for the stimulus-pattern-creating system and standardized parts for the protable FES system.

  • This paper proposes a method which can resolve the problem of existing fuzzy Pl controller using optimal scaling gains obtained by genetic algorithm. The new method adapt a fuzzy logic controller as a high level controller to perform scaling gain algorithm between two pre-determined sets.

  • Recently, adapt cases of concrete structure are increasing according to structural largeness and variety. We energetically continue to study empirical research about Steel Fiber but analytic research of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber to model real structure is just beginning stage. This study will suggest analytic algorithm of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber by comparing and analyzing deflection and strain of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber after we develop Nonlinear Analysis Program considering edge stress analysis.

  • In this paper, traction system for urban transit maglev system is proposed. Using vector control strategy to control magnitude and frequency of output voltage transiently is general. But in case of traction system for railway vehicle, it is impossible that adapt vector control because there is one-pulse mode in a high speed region. So this paper proposes the control strategy using vector control in a low speed region and slip frequency control in a high speed region. And also proposes overmodulation method that makes to change in one-pulse mode softly. The performance of traction system will be verified by simulation results using ACSL.

  • The various methods have been studied to develop discriminant model for pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH) as high risk pregnant. In this study, we adapt the approximate entropy which is the non-linear chaotic measuring method. Then, we develop a system to discriminant PIH pregnant using QUEST with S-PLUS.
