Objective : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Pharmacopuncture Therapy and Needle-embedding Therapy on Androgenetic Alopecia in woman. Methods : The patient was treated by acupucture, pharmacopuncture, needle-embedding. The improvement of the patient was judged by phtograpies and VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) score. Results & Conclusions : Her hair loss and physical condition were improved remarkably, and an author consider that continuous clinical study will be needed in other needle-embedding therapy and korean medical treatment.

Migraine is a very common unilateral and throbbing headache, and a chronic relapsing and remitting disorder characterised by neurological, gastrointestinal, and autonomic changes. It has a high prevalence, often recurs at the time of being in full activity of life, and has a serious impact on patients personally and socially. So we need to develop a oriental medicine for migraine. I have treated two migraine patients using Zhuapiandutongbang (Zuopiantoutongfang) of Dongyibogam. The impression of first case is migraine with aura, and that of second case is probable migraine. We just give Zhuapiandutongbang (Zuopiantoutongfang)'s medicine to two patients, but don't apply acupucture and anything to treat. We reported that Zhuapiandutongbang (Zuopiantoutongfang) has a good effect on not only the improvement of symptoms but also the prevention of relapse.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report the efficiency of Bee Venom Therapy by managering of radial nerve palsy patients. Method : Three patients were treatmented by Bee Venom therapy and acupucture therapy. And we took pictures of someone's wrist and checked the power of muscles by the improving phase. Results : Almost cases shows the improvement in the movement of wrist and the numbness of hand. By using acuputure and Bee Venom therapy, the symptoms of radial nerv palsy was more fastly recovered.

Objectives : This study is to report the effect of Scolopendrid Pharmacopuncture on two patients suffering from the pain of popliteal part. Methods : We treated the patients with the pain of popliteal part by acupuncture according to meridian(Taeyang and Soyang-Meridian), and we injected 0.1${\sim}$0.2cc of Scolopendrid Pharmacopuncture to his pain site. And then we evaluated their pain by VAS(Visual Analog Scale). Results : 1. A combined treatment-Scolopendrid Pharmacopuncture and Acupucture- had a very excellent effect on relieving pain of popliteal part originated from trigger point and referred pain of Popliteus or Biceps Femoris. 2. It appears that Scolopendrid Pharmacopuncture is very effective against trigger point of muscle and pain site fixed.

Myofascial pain syndrome is one of the major cause of chronic pain and trigger point injection, stretching, spray and electrical therapy are often used in clinical situation for treatment of myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial pain syndrome is characterzied by the existence of a hypersensitive region, called the trigger point in a muscle or in the connective tissue, together with palpable noble, stiffness, limitation of motion and referred pain when trigger point is stimulated. Physiologically, they represent a self-sustaining vicious cycle of pain-spasm-pain. The purpose of this study is to illustrate mechanisms of pain by stimulation of acupuncture and trigger point, to introduce clinic application of orient and western stimulative point (acupuncture, trigger point)for treatment of MPS(myofascial pain syndrome), to make physiotherapist use both stimulative points for treatment of MPS.

Objective : Epilepsy is a brain condition which causes a person to suddenly lose consciousness and sometimes to have fits. The etiologic factors of epilepsy are various, but most of cases are idiopathic. The purpose of this study is to report a pediatric patient with idiopathic epilepsy. Method : We treated him with herb medicine, acupucture and anticonvulsant. Then, we stopped administering anticonvulsant, and observed the progress of his condition. Result : We had good effect with oriental medical treatment on an epileptic who quitted taking anticonvulsant. Conclusion : We report the good results of oriental medicine on a pediatric patient with idiopathic epilepsy. And the further study is needed with more cases, longer duration and other tools.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was clinical observation about sensorineural hearing loss compare with acupucture treatment and assessments of prognotic factors. Methods : This study was clinical observation about sensorineural hearing loss cases. for diagnosing in these cases, pure tone audiometry was used. The treatment, acupuncture was used. Results : Three patients(37.5%) remarkably improved, one patient(12.5%), slightly improved, four patients(50%), no change. Conclusions : These results suggest that the prognosis by age and initial hearing threshold was significant. The treatment on sensorineural hearing loss considered that bone condution improved.

This study was carried out to investigate the analgesic and antipyretic effects of acupuncture in goat suffered from pain and fever induced experimentally : electroacupuncture and laser acupuncture for the relief of pain and traditional needing for the of fever. Pain was induced by intraperitoneal injection of 0.7% acetic acid solution and it's extent was estimated with the number of writhing syndrom as indicator of pain. When lipopolysaccharide was given into the vein in goat, fever with biphasic type was produced. In the goats with pain the superior analgesic effects of electroacupuncture to aminopyrine and sulpyrine were found, but the effects of laser acupuncture were not satisfactory. The high body temperature of goats was gradually decreased with the lapse of time following traditional needling(venesection by needle) and showed a tendency to return to normal body temperature. Serum GOT, GPT:, BUN, creatinine values and acetylcholinesterase activity following electroacupuncture were not altered. It is considered that electroacupuncture combined with medicament can sucure exellent analgesic and antipyretic effects in animal practice.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to measure the expectation of patients visiting the Korean medical hospital for treatment from traffic accident (TA). Methods The data were collected with a questionnaire for about 1 year. The subjects were 39 patients who hospitalized in Korean Medical Hospital after TA. All data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) program to analyze. Results Acupuncture (8.36) had the highest expectation degree which was followed by Herbalmedicine (8.32), Pharmocoacupuncture (8.14). There were no significant differences in the expectation degree with sex, age, education, occupation. The patients who had experienced Korean medicine treatment had high expectation degree in Pharmocoacupuncture and Herbalmedicine. And the expectation was different significantly (p<0.05). Conclusions The expectation of TA patients was high in Acupucture and Herbalmedicine. The group experienced korean medical treatment before had high degree of expectation in Palmacoacupuncture and Herbalmedicine.

Results : Acupuncture Therapy include head needling, body acupuncture, ear-acupuncture therapy, therapy of point injection. By these ways control brain, the brain's marrow, liver, kidney, heart and treat the developmental disorder effective.
