본 연구의 목적은 국내 중소기업에 있어서 전사적 품질경영(TQM: Total Quality Management)활동이 기업의 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 규명하는 것이다. 그 결과 TQM 활동을 통하여 재무성과, 품질성과, 고객만족성과, 그리고 조직수용성과 등 4가지 관점의 경영성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구 결과 TQM을 도입한 기업이 전사적 차원에서 체계적인 품질경영활동을 수행함으로써 기업의 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으므로 우리나라 기업들이 TQM을 도입 수행하여 지속적으로 활용해야 할 당위성과 필요성을 제시해 준 연구라고 할 수 있다. 또한 4가지 관점에서의 성과측정을 통해 TQM 수행 기업에서의 성과측정지표 선정시 수행목적에 따라 어느 관점에서 중점적으로 성과목표를 설정하여야 할 것인가에 대한 가이드라인 역할뿐만 아니라 향후 TQM 성과 관련 후속연구의 기본방향을 제시해준 연구라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 본 연구의 실증분석에서 도출된 TQM 활동요인과 성과측정 지표의 체계적인 관리를 통해 TQM 활동을 보다 효과적으로 수행함으로써 중소기업의 경영성과 및 기업경쟁력을 높이는데 기여할 수 있다고 본다.

This paper focuses on the relationship between innovation and export performance of technology-based firms in Korea. This study analyses the relationship between innovative activity and firm's performances using a sample of 760 technology-based firms in Korea. As for the firm's performance indicators, export is employed. The empirical results support that innovation has a positive effect on firm's export performance. However, for small and medium firms, the relationship between innovative activity and export performance is an U-shape quadratic form, which shows that small firms takes a minimum innovative expenditure in order to access the abroad market. Also, with product differentiation, innovative firms tends to devot more to domestic market than to abroad market. Therefore, it can be concluded that innovative activity builds market power and accelerates export performance. And product differentiation through advertising expenditure make innovative firms less exporting.

Purpose: This study examined differences in nursing care activity, work performance outcomes, and job satisfaction associated with upgrading nurse staffing of a nurse-to-patients ratio. Methods: Descriptive design was used in this study. In total, 148 medical and surgical nurses were recruited from one university hospital. Three instruments were used for data collection: Scale of Nursing Care Activity, Nurses' Work Performance Outcome Measurement Scale and Nurses' Job Satisfaction Scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and paired t-test. Results: There were significant differences in nursing care activity (t=-5.06, p<.001), in work performance outcomes (t=-5.46, p<.001) and in job satisfaction (t=4.61, p<.001) when the grading for the nursing staff was changed from three to two indicating increasing number of nurses. Conclusion: The findings from this study showed that there were more nursing care activities, better work performance outcomes, and higher job satisfaction when numbers of nurses were increased. The changes in the scale to evaluate nursing staff influence nursing activities, work performance and job satisfaction.

This study analyzes the business performance of research and development(R&D) and especially studies the effect of technology management activity and technology innovation competency on commercialization performance. According to previous studies, the technology management activity can be composed of technological innovativeness, analysis of market, R&D method, and appropriateness for commercialization plan. Also, the technology innovation can be divided into patent, R&D manpower, R&D investment ratio, production capability, and marketing capability. On the result of the analysis, all the components of technology management activity are positively related with commercialization performance. In case of technology innovation competency, however, only production and marketing capabilities have influence on the business performance. Especially, marketing capability controls the effect of technology management activities on the commercialization performance. Consequently, technology management is very important activity for SMEs to succeed commercialization and SMEs should collaborate with production and marketing departments from the early stage of R&D.

In this study, we empirically investigated the internal consistency among priorities in manufacturing strategy, manufacturing activity program performances and managerial performance indices in domestic electronic manufacturing firms. The test results show that there exist several significant internal consistencies with managerial implication related in research model. Especially, priority in quality shows most significant consistency through manufacturing activity program performances and managerial performance indices.

For the continuous growth of firms, the contributions of effective risk management system are required. This research analyzes the impact on the firm's performance related to risk management structure which includes the risk management system, risk management activity and risk management competency. In this research, the structural equation model considering the variable which contains enterprise risk management system, risk management activity and risk management competency was suggested. Also risk management organization and management procedures are identified as in enterprise risk management system. The implementation activity and control activity were the factors related in risk management activity. And risk management competency can be described as the response level of managing risk in outside and inside the firms' environment. Finally this model was analysed empirically for 112 firms in Korea using SPSS 18.0 and Amos 16.0. As the results, the suggested hypothesis were adopted. So as to manage risk performance for their firms, the development of systematic Risk Management Framework is important for their risk management activity and risk management competency. Ultimately, we can conclude that the focusing to the systematic risk management approach could be effective on the firm's risk management performance.

최근 기업에서는 정보자산을 여러 가지 통제 및 관리 수단을 통해 보호활동을 하고 있다. 그러나 보호수준을 높게 요구할수록 업무 수행의 불편함으로 단기적인 효율성 및 생산성이 감소하게 되었다. 이와 함께 조직의 정보보호를 위한 투자가 지속적으로 증가함에도 불구하고 정보보호 성과측정을 위한 체계적인 방법이 제시되지 않아 정보보호 투자 의사결정 및 정보보호 개선 방향 도출이 어려운 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 정보자산의 보호에 대한 개념을 정립하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구를 바탕으로 정보자산보호를 위한 활동의 유형을 관리활동과 통제활동으로 분류하여 이들이 정보자산보호활동의 성과와 조직 성과에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 본 연구를 위해 이론연구와 더불어 실증적 연구분석을 위해 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 PLS(Partial Least Square)를 이용하여 측정모형 및 가설검증을 실시하였다. 통계분석 결과, 정보자산보호 관리활동은 정보자산보호 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 정보자산보호 통제활동은 정보자산보호 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정보자산보호 성과는 조직 성과에 대해 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 외에 본 연구결과에 대한 의의 및 한계점을 논의하였으며, 향후 연구에 대한 시사점도 언급하였다.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to provide the effective method for exercise therapy in soccer player. Methods : 30 soccer players were recruited for subjects. The subjects were divided to dynamic stretching exercise combined tDCS (Group I), dynamic stretching exercise combined Sham-tDCS (Group II) of which 15 subjects were randomly allocated. The subjects were given 3 hour of soccer skill and performance and additionally given 20 minutes of dynamic stretching exercise combined tDCS and sham-tDCS for each group, five times a week, for 6 weeks. Their muscle activity and jump performance were analyzed before the intervention. After 6 weeks of the intervention, the mentioned parameters were measured once more for between-group analysis. Results : Comparative analysis of the muscle activity and jump performance between the groups I and groups II showed statistically significant difference. Conclusion : Such results revealed that dynamic stretching exercise combined with tDCS is effective in muscle activity and jump performance. Based on the current study, more effective program is to be proposed for neurologic and musculoskelectal disorder as well as soccer player. Based on the current study, studies that incorporates various combine of variable is required for development of effective tDCS program.

Due to the advancement of technology and rapidly changing environment of the market, the life cycle of high-tech products is becoming shorter. The enterprise must constantly innovate and select correct development strategy of new product in order to respond to customers' demands for upgrading operational performance of industry. Development of new product is the critical activity for enterprise's survival and growth. This research focuses on the effects of Taiwan high-tech companies' introduction of innovative activity and development strategy of new product on development performance of new product for analysis and exploration. The result findings reveal that: (1) High execution degree of innovative activity has positive effect on the implementation of development strategy of new product; (2) The companies with better implementation of development strategy of new product reveal better development performance; (3) The companies with higher degree of execution of innovative activity and better execution of development strategy of new product reveal better development performance of new product.

This study distinguished innovation activities into 3 main things (sustainability management activity, management innovation activity and quality innovation activity). Performance differences among those 3 innovation activities are again distinguished into 4 things (affecting on sales revenue, increasing productivity, improving its corporate image and cost reduction) to demonstrate recognition of performance. We also demonstrated difference of performance between manager and other workers.
