The flexible organic thin film transistor (OTFT) array to use as a switching device for an organic light emitting diode (OLED) was designed and fabricated in the microcontact printing and low-temperature processes. The gate, source, and drain electrode patterns of OTFT were fabricated by microcontact printing which is high-resolution lithography technology using polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) stamp. The OTFT array with dielectric layer and organic active semiconductor layers formed at room temperature or at a temperature tower than $40^{\circ}C$. The microcontact printing process using SAM(self-assembled monolayer) and PDMS stamp made it possible to fabricate OTFT arrays with channel lengths down to even nano size, and reduced the procedure by 10 steps compared with photolithography. Since the process was done in low temperature, there was no pattern transformation and bending problem appeared. It was possible to increase close packing of molecules by SAM, to improve electric field mobility, to decrease contact resistance, and to reduce threshold voltage by using a big dielecric.

We report a new direct patterning method, called liquid bridge-mediated nanotransfer molding (LB-nTM), for the formation of two- or three-dimensional structures with feature sizes between tens of nanometers and tens of micron over large areas. LB-nTM is based on the direct transfer of various materials from a mold to a substrate via a liquid bridge between them. This procedure can be adopted for automated direct printing machines that generate patterns of functional materials with a wide range of feature sizes on diverse substrates. Arrays of TIPS-PEN TFTs were fabricated on 4" polyethersulfone (PES) substrates by LB-nTM using PDMS molds. An inverted staggered structure was employed in the TFT device fabrication. A 150 nm-thick indium-tin oxide (ITO) gate electrode and a 200 nm-thick SiO2dielectric layer were formed on a PES substrate by sputter deposition. An array of TIPS-PEN patterns (thickness: 60 nm) as active channel layers was fabricated on the substrate by LB-nTM. The nominal channel length of the TIPS-PEN TFT was 10 mm, while the channel width was 135 mm. Finally, the source and drain electrodes of 200 nm-thick Ag were defined on the substrate by LB-nTM. The TIPS-PEN TFTs can endure strenuous bending and are also transparent in the visible range, and therefore potentially useful for flexible and invisible electronics.
This paper presents an experimental method to find the vibrational transmission characteristics of structures by using the structural intensity method which is used as the important techniques of active vibration control method. Experimental results are obtained from measurements performed on a structure beam by 2, 3 and 4 position linear accelerometr array (2, 3 and 4 structural intensity : 2, 3 and 4 S.I.) methods at near and farfield conditions. These results are compared with the measurement values of conventional power flow measurement method called input power measurement in order to verify the accuracy of structural intensity methods. To minimize the errors associated with 2, 3 and 4 S.I. methods, the measurement locations were selected by the result of modal analysis and the averaged data by the inter-change of accelerometer array was utilized. In 3 and 4 S.I. methods measured wavenumber instead of theoretical wavenumber was used. This paper shows that measurements of bending wave power flow by using 2, 3 and 4 S.I. methods can give accurate values under general field conditions in structural beam and the accuracy of 2, 3 S.I. methods is higher than 4 S.I. methods. Finally, 2 position linear accelerometer array method is suggested as the practical structural intensity technique.

In the resent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. But, no detailed researches between the thermo-dynamic property in Nitinol alloy have been done yet. In this study, the thermal property of high temperature Nitinol shape memory alloy were evaluated using differential scanning calorimeter(DSC). The structure property was investigated using X-ray diffraction(XRD). A dynamic mechanical analyzer(DMA) with three point bending mode was used to study storage and loss modulus of shape memory alloy according to the thirteen frequencies in the temperature range between 30 and $200^{\circ}C$. The effects of the temperature heating/cooling rate, the frequency on the damping capacity have been systematically investigated. Such a frequency and temperature changes also influenced significantly to the damping behavior of the shape memory alloy. It was also found that Nitinol exhibited high damping capacity during phase transformation.
The conduction-cooled HTS SMES magnet is operated in cryogenic temperature. The insulation design at cryogenic temperature is an important element that should be established to accomplish miniaturization that is a big advantage of HTS SMES. However, the behaviors of insulators for cryogenic conditions in air or vacuum are virtually unknown. Therefore, we need active research and development of insulation concerning application of the conduction-cooled HTS SMES. Specially, this paper was studied about high vacuum and cryogenic temperature breakdown and flashover discharge characteristics between cryocooler and magnet-coil. The breakdown and surface flashover discharge characteristics were experimented at cryogenic temperature and vacuum. Also, we were experimented about mechanical properties of 4-point bending test. From the results, we confirmed that about research between cryocooler and magnet-coil established basic data in the insulation design.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to measure the immediate effect of hip hinge exercise stretching on hamstring flexibility, pelvic tilting angle, proprioception, and dynamic balance in individual with tightness of the hamstring. Design: A randomized controlled trial. Methods: A total of 35 healthy young adults (27 males, 8 females) volunteered for this study and randomly divided into three groups (Hip hinge exercise stretching group, passive stretching group, and PNF stretching group). The hamstring flexibility, pelvic tilting angle, knee joint proprioception, dynamic balance was conducted for 3 times. In order to evaluate the hamstring flexibility, the active knee extension test was performed. Forward bending test was performed to examine pelvic tilting angle. The proprioception was tested by the joint position sense test and dynamic balance was evaluated by Y balance test. Results: The hamstring flexibility, pelvic tilting angle and dynamic balance were significantly improved between three groups before and after intervention (p<0.05). Dynamic balance was significantly difference between the three groups in the posterolateral direction (p<0.05). Conclusions: This study result showed that hip hinge exercise stretching was the most effective method for increasing hamstring flexibility, pelvic tilting angle and dynamic balance. In addition, it is necessary to study whether hamstring stretching is effective in low back pain patient with hamstrings tightness.
A high-fidelity numerical analysis methodology was proposed for evaluating the fuel rod cladding integrity of a Prototype Gen IV Sodium Fast Reactor (PGSFR) during normal operation and Design basis events (DBEs). The MARS-LMR code, system transient safety analysis code, was applied to analyze the DBEs. The results of the MARS-LMR code were used as boundary condition for a 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. The peak temperatures considering HCFs satisfied the cladding temperature limit. The temperature and pressure distributions were calculated by ANSYS CFX code, and applied to structural analysis. Structural analysis was performed using ANSYS Mechanical code. The seismic reactivity insertion SSE accident among DBEs had the highest peak cladding temperature and the maximum stress, as the value of 87 MPa. The fuel cladding had over 40 % safety margin, and the strain was below the strain limit. Deformation behavior was elucidated for providing relative coordinate data on each active fuel rod center. Bending deformation resulted in a flower shape, and bowing bundle did not interact with the duct of fuel assemblies. Fuel rod maximum expansion was generated with highest stress. Therefore, it was concluded that the fuel rod cladding of the PGSFR has sufficient structural safety margin during DBEs.
Soil nailing is ground reinforcement method using the shear strength of ground and the pullout shear resistance force of nail. It is mainly used for reinforcement of cut slopes, earth retaining structures and retaining walls, etc. It may be designed considering the pullout resistance of nail in the case of earth retaining structure and retaining wall, but it should be designed considering not only pullout resistance but also shear and bending resistance in the case of slope. However, conservative designs considering only pullout resistance are being done and most of the studies are about increasing pullout resistance by improving of material, shape and construction method of nail. Actually, Shear bending deformations occur centering on the active surface in ground reinforced with the nail. The grout with relatively low strength is destroyed and separated from the reinforcing material. As a result, the ground is collapsed while reducing the frictional resistance rapidly. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the method to increase the shear resistance while preventing separation of nail and grout body. In this study, an experimental study was conducted on new soil nailing method which can increase shear resistance by forming protrusions through pressurized grouting after installing a packer on the outside of deformed bar.
This study applied elastic supports in order to evaluate load carrying capacity using measurement data obtained from load tests actively and utilizing various evaluation methods. In order to confirm the adequacy of structural analysis based on elastic supports and to improve the reliability of experiment results, we conducted a deflection test with flexural beams prepared as overhanging beams and, based on the results, performed precision safety diagnosis for real bridges under public service for improving the load carrying capacity evaluation method for bridges under public service. In the results of the bending test, compared to deflection calculated by the existing method, deflection obtained by applying elastic supports was closer to the actually measured deflection. In the results of evaluating load carrying capacity for a 3 span continuous steel box girder bridge just after its completion, load carrying capacity by elastic supports was smaller by up to 39% than that by the existing method. When the load carrying capacity of bridges is evaluated by the existing method the results vary among engineers due to lack of guidelines for evaluation such as the application of stress modification factor. This study was conducted as an effort to solve this problem through active research.
