Since 2000, family tour has increased a lot by effect of five-day workweek in South Korea. So, it became much needed road station. however road station's facilities are lacking. Recently, there is a growing emphasis on rural regional activation. So the government is concentrating in rural policy. In Japan case study, Road Station(RS, Michinoeki) make regional activation by Road station service. Rs is rest area for motor driver in rural area. In general, it is construct at rural roads, not a highway. In this paper, we hope to take a lesson from the RS case study. 2015, 2016, in japan, we visited to 7 case study and interviewed to a staff. As a result, In Japan's Rs was offering convenient services to motor driver and raising farmers's profits by selling local produce. The aim of that this paper is to suggest to Korean Type's Rs. There are five results from this paper as follows : First, Japan Rs, it works well to improve in regional activation in rural area. Two, Also Rs has to community facilities attached to the culture, welfare, library etc. Three, 5 Korean Type Rs can sort out. There are Community type, Joint tourism type, 6th industrialization type, Urban-Rural Interchange type, Shopping center type. This RS is introduced to Korea hopes to contribute to the regional activation in rural area.

Decrease in Population and graying of rural area by industrialization and urbanization are gone continuously. This makes happened various rural problems and the differential of standard of living with is arising day by day. Government is unfolding rural supporting project to solve continuously these problems. Recent Projects which are choosing not top-down process by government leading but bottom-up process through village inhabitants' participation and expert consultant get positive estimation. But those have difficulties because the support is attained only in the beginning step not continuously and inhabitants' number by graying is decreasing. The Special Economic Zone for Regional Development Policy is new access that regulation can differ according to special quality of each area depending on Localization Age. Through this transfer the competence that can mitigate or reinforce various regulations according to special quality of area in local government. So, back and maintain activation systematically so that each area could be developed specially. The purpose of The Special Economic Zone for Regional Development Policy is the activation of regional economy through development that regional specific character is. And there is characteristic that local government plans and takes the lead in all project contents, government gives regulation benefit by appointing the special economic zone and do not support finance and various tax remissions. Through investigation of such new policy, I wish to recognize what long-term plan and method could be possible to success rural activation continuously.

This study is progressing or suggests effective space planning for rural village area conventional markets that is planning business market modernization process. Rural village area conventional markets of small scale are inputting a lot of efforts and financial resources for activation. Also, I wish to quote activation plan for rural village area conventional markets that face in stagnation. Studied spatial form and conventional market activation factors by space use special quality of rural village area conventional markets for architectural planning plan presentation. Investigated spatial change for several years that appear in Geum-wang conventional market for this. As a result, could deduce plans of space improvement plan for conventional market space positively. Also, through this study, suggest activation plan of conventional market that display similar space type including Geum-wang conventional market. Therefore, environment improvement of conventional market's type and special quality based on space activation elements and need space environment improvement plan the architecture plan in early planning phase of business.

The domestic rural villages have faced on the many problems in future society. The major purposes of this paper are to clarify in space program for the Rural Activating through the Urban-Rural Exchange. Firstly, it has examined the rural amenities of rural resources, such as natural surroundings, culture, history, landscape, economy, community power etc. Secondary, it was checked about analysis of operation programs corresponding to the rural resources. Thirdly, These space program of Urban-Rural Exchange, which has been archived process of spacial planning, was investigated the spacial conditions corresponding to the operation programs. To make Urban-Rural Exchange Center, it was necessary to analyze physical spacial size of building gross area, by data of cross checking with the area per capita and area per household in the rural village. According to the research, Urban-Rural Exchange Center was to be included visiting center, multipurpose room and dining room, exhibiting space, conference room, experience room, welfare space and specialized room with activation of rural village. However additional conditions are required that it is based on the sustainable development, environmentally friendly architecture both operation program and space program for the value of common society, citizen and villagers.

Around the rural village area the traditional markets which are center the small capital it was active at the strong-point and the possibility the fact that it is developed. With this the same small capital currently as the city and the area where the quality of the rural village coexists, has the regional quality which belongs in guard of the capital region or strong-point city. With relative estrangement from the support process against this result past falling behind farming village it does not illustrate the possibility of knowing the fact that the duplex point who is falling behind as guard territory of reverse appears. Selects the small capital of the each area from like this point of view and the possibility of knowing center role of traditional market the possibility which is various is the possibility of doing in the process which propels an activation. Currently it is planned from the multi local self-governing group and the result which investigates the traditional market activation contents which are in the process of propelling, it will be able to discover the multi branch problem points against a traditional market activation.

The government has made a great effort for the development of rural area. The aim of this study is to analyze the change process and characteristics of the government's rural area development policies implemented so far and present an aid as adequate material to the direction of development policy for rural areas. The rural area development policy had been focused on maintenance of physical infrastructure facilities in the rural areas, pursuing urban convenience led by the government from the 1950s to 1990s. The policy has changed to local residents-led rural area development from the late 1990s to present time. The basic direction of the policy turned into making much of environment-friendliness and promotion of regional activation. The policy was transformed to recognize our rural area and also perceive it pastoral and resting space. In addition, green tourism has emerged as an important theme since 2000. In the rural area development policy, it is the most important to connect it with various development projects, select target areas from the long-term perspective and pursue efficiency through intensified investment of financial resources.

Some projects being in force by the Ministry of Government Administration & Home Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry for farm village area activation offers experience activity of various form to city dwellers, and to farm village inhabitants, affirmative effect is expected in aspect that activation becomes possible for a lot of visitors. But, to farm village(rural district) area activation that huge budget and effort carried out successfully, there are some items that specialist, administration and the persons concerned must inspect together now. First, to project for farm village area activation succeeds; leading participation of inhabitants should be premised. Second, that stagnated economy revives is as rightful result that appears in case farm village area activation effort succeeds. But, can drop more highlights like the value pursuit of life in case put success or failure of all businesses in income enlargement. Third, because inhabitant cultivates own in making process, the attachment and pride for area can be inculcated. Doing not become focus is set to economical logic to do, the heritage of area as well as history culture, must consider that apply eco-museum concept that magnify nature heritage and industry heritage. Fourth, actually the plan period given usually is too shortly than received huge budget. Furthermore, in case it carries out by desirable inhabitants leading type so. Project that not consider the period that is cost to the statement of inhabitants' active opinion and finding out a point of compromise may be hard to get desirable result.

The rural area is activated and if it does to sleep, that versatility the reading is necessary from the side which is various it sees. Only expansion or improvement of namely base facility it will have and there is not a possibility becoming the basic activation countermeasure. With this with the instance investigation against the traditional market activation which is developed the Gamgok from same background has both the quality of the rural and the city in the center it joins in and the far it will be able to complement a problem point it presents. Also it presents the activation plan which considers the regional quality which from the research which it sees relates with a traditional market to sleep and it does.

In this study the location condition and the management of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages located around unified Cheongju city has been surveyed or investigated. On the basis of the results of the survey or investigation this study is to suggest a way to make activate the Rural Experience Tourism Villages which have been inactive. The ways of the research include the understanding of what means the activation of rural areas and then this study is to find the problems with the Rural Experience Tourism Villages and to suggest final ways or plans after the field investigation of the condition of the location and management of the Villages. In this study I had full understanding of the concept of the activation for rural areas and the humanistic and geographical characteristics and then made a wide investigation and analysis of the location condition and the management of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages in this area. Based on the theory and the results of the actual investigation I made a suggestion of basic direction for the improvement of the Villages and the ways for activation of the Villages. I really expect these suggestions of mine to make active contribution to make the actual plan through the promotion of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages.

This study promotes the improvement of local incomes and rural activation by establishing rural experience theme park plans using local resources of Samzi district, Yeongyang-gun. The spatial scope of the study is the whole district of Samzi 1-ri, Yeongyang-eup, Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the destination area is $129.927m^2$. The scope of the contents was to investigate general status of the site and was conducted as a basic plan, a basic planning stage through analysis of terrain and topography, slope analysis, aspect, SWOT analysis. The satisfaction of the customers to experience is increased, activation of rural exchange and income-generating infrastructure can be expected by creations the space of rural experience theme park. Themes are selected systematically and variety of the programs and spatial planning will be analyzed to promote more efficient business.
