As software is large and sophisticate, in order to increase the productivity and efficiency of programs in programming development environments, it is necessary to support the integrated system that offers user interface integrated editing, compiling, debugging, and running steps. The key tool in such environments is an incremental translation. In this paper, in order to increase the productivity and reusability of software, the goal is to construct the integrated incremental interpretation system that supports friendly user interface with editor, debugger, and incremental interpreter. We define the new object-oriented language, IMPLO(IMPerative Language with Object) using EBNF notation, and construct the integrated incremental interpretation system using incremental interpreter of the language. To do so, we extend attribute grammars for specifying static semantics and present new action equations to describe the dynamic semantics. We executed the incremental interpretation by using analyzing the dynamic semantics and then implemented integrated incremental interpretation system with editor and debugger in C, Lex and Yacc using X windows on SUN. We obtain about 50％ speedups in case of incremental execution time for example programs.

The aim of this paper is to find out semiotic interpretation in digital gameplay and define layers of meaning which is provided by a game designer and a player. The primary author of the digital game is a game designer; however, to accomplish the whole meaning of the digital game, there must be a player's action. In digital games, the game designer leads to player's action and the player progresses the game at her desire. During the gameplay, each of the intention clashes and coincides through the semiotic interpretation. It can be classified under five sections that represent the game designer, the player and the game text.

Based on the reinterpretation of the well-known relationship between shear and the rate of change of bending moment in a reinforced concrete beam subject to combined shear and moment loads, the shortcomings of present truss models are discussed. The core of the theory is that a new perspective on the shear strength can be gained by viewing the internal stress filed in terms of the superposition of two base components of shear resistance; arch action and beam action. The arch action can be designed using the simple truss having curved compression chord, while the beam action between the two chords can be modeled using a parallel chord truss with MCFT or RA-STM. The compatibility of deformation associated to the two action is taken into account by employing a characteristic factor a. The new model was examined by the Stuttgart beam shear tests, and the results show that the present approach provides good estimates of stirrup contribution and concrete contributions.

In this paper, We propose a method of motion interpretation of pedestrian for active traffic signal control. We detect pedestrian object in a movie of crosswalk area by using the code book method and acquire contour information. To do this stage fast, we use parallel processing based on CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture). And we remove shadow which causes shape distortion of objects. Shadow removed object is judged by using the hilbert scan distance whether to human or noise. If the objects are judged as a human, we analyze pedestrian objects' motion, face area feature, waiting time to decide that they have intetion to across a crosswalk for pdestrians. Traffic signal can be controlled after judgement.

This study began with an epistemological question about the nature of mathematical cognition in relation to the learner's activity. Therefore, by examining Piaget's 'reflective abstraction' theory which can be an answer to the question, we tried to get suggestions which can be given to the mathematical education in practice. 'Reflective abstraction' is formed through the coordination of the epistmmic subject's action while 'empirical abstraction' is formed by the characters of observable concrete object. The reason Piaget distinguished these two kinds of abstraction is that the foundation for the peculiar objectivity and inevitability can be taken from the coordination of the action which is shared by all the epistemic subjects. Moreover, because the mechanism of reflective abstraction, unlike empirical abstraction, does not construct a new operation by simply changing the result of the previous construction, but is forming re-construction which includes the structure previously constructed as a special case, the system which is developed by this mechanism is able to have reasonability constantly. The mechanism of the re-construction of the intellectual system through the reflective abstraction can be explained as continuous spiral alternance between the two complementary processes, 'reflechissement' and 'reflexion'; reflechissement is that the action moves to the higher level through the process of 'int riorisation' and 'thematisation'; reflexion is a process of 'equilibration'between the assimilation and the accomodation of the unbalance caused by the movement of the level. The operational learning principle of the theorists like Aebli who intended to embody Piaget's operational constructivism, attempts to explain the construction of the operation through 'internalization' of the action, but does not sufficiently emphasize the integration of the structure through the 'coordination' of the action and the ensuing discontinuous evolvement of learning level. Thus, based on the examination on the essential characteristic of the reflective abstraction and the mechanism, this study presents the principles of teaching and learning as following; $\circled1$ the principle of the operational interpretation of knowledge, $\circled2$ the principle of the structural interpretation of the operation, $\circled3$ the principle of int riorisation, $\circled4$ the principle of th matisation, $\circled5$ the principle of coordination, reflexion, and integration, $\circled6$ the principle of the discontinuous evolvement of learning level.

Power system technologies in the area of smart grid are being converged with communication system technologies or information technologies(IT). This interdisciplinary action affects on two parts vigorously so that IT has become a essential part of power industry. But terminologies of two parts are confused and it is necessary that these are standardized to develop the industry. The interpretation works with scientific and technological standard of the smart grid terminologies which are IEC TC 57 glossary and non-glossary terminologies are introduced. Based on the interpretation works of the smart grid terminologies, an online terminology information system for the standardization of smart grid terminologies is proposed. The system provides the capability of collection and delivery of academic society opinions for the selected and interpreted terminologies.

Despite the proliferation of studies on emotion, little attention has been paid to the effects of discrete emotion on political participation. Using a representative survey conducted on a sample of South Korean citizens in the aftermath of the Sewol ferry accident, the current survey explored how anger and sadness, as well as the ways people express those emotions, influence the orientation of their response in social environments and, ultimately, their voting intention. The results partially supported the discrete effects of sadness and anger in eliciting reactions of approach or avoidance. Anger was found to provoke an approach action tendency in independent voters and supporters of the opposition, while also eliciting an avoidance action tendency with a varying effect size across all three groups of respondents. Sadness also prompted an approach action tendency in independents and supporters of the incumbent party, while it manifested a negative association with the avoidance action tendency in supporters of the opponent party. An interpretation of the findings and proposed directions for future research are presented.

This study is semiotic analysis about 'dumb ways to die' that is produced by Melbourne Railway of Australia in 2012. By analyzing the symbolic representations through 'Actants model' of A.J. Greimas, extract the relationship between signification of the represented object in 'dumb ways to die'. Greimas' model helps to analyze the semiotic interpretation action that occurs above a layer of discourse. In addition, this study is to compare the property to distinguish the Semiotic 'Actants' to cause the behavior of the recipient by represented in the same ideological situation. This can determine the properties of the signification and gauge the level of symbolic images that are reproduced in the discourse process. Accordingly, guidance to become a developer by extracting the reproduction principle of the video that causes a user's action.

This study aims to assess the quality of the EU's public diplomacy efforts through social media. Specifically, this research explores the headquarters of European public diplomacy (European External Action Service, EEAS) and its subordinate agent (EU Delegation to South Korea, EUDK). The main research question is "how coherently and effectively does the EU execute public diplomacy strategies in the third countries?'' This study employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches―the former for the results presentation and the latter for the results interpretation. The results are summarized in two points. First, both the EEAS and the EUDK maintained an objective position by posting only neutral perspectives on their social media. Second, the narratives of the main actors were the same, but the main themes were different according to their contexts. The analysis discusses the effectiveness of the EU's strategic narratives by focusing on measuring message reception. Its limited findings were that social media postings could not induce the audiences' active discussion of the EU's diplomatic performances. The conclusion suggests that the EU should identify the expectations from its global counterparts and use these to forge the Union's strategic narratives.

After the author of 'Luxinjing' explained the children's characters using the concept of Pure-Yang, the term has been widely exploited in the literature of Oriental pediatrics, Its meaning could be summed up in three general categories, namely: Shengyang(盛陽), Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) and Shaoyang(少陽). The implications of Pure-Yang were different in each dynasties of China. By the early Qing(淸) period, it meant mostly Shengyang(盛陽), but its meaning moved in the direction of Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) after Wu Jutong(吳鞠通). And this movement in the interpretation of this term was largely triggered by the pharmaceutical concerns of doctors as too much medicine of cooling and gastrointestinal effect was used to 'cool off' the over-charged Yang characters(盛陽) of children, causing considerable detrimental side effects to the children's body. The concept of Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) which emphasizes the fragility of children's body thus came in action. The meaning of physiological terms in Oriental Medicine is essentially linked to its clinical applications as we have seen in the case of Pure Yang. In that respect, the recent interpretation of Pure-Yang as Shaoyang(少陽) among physicians in China seems lacking in its crucial counterpart, which is its clinical applications. No theory can prove fruitful in the absence of its practice.
