한국형 고속틸팅열차의 중간부 충돌에너지 흡수구조에 대한 연구 (A study on crash energy absorption design of passenger-car extreme structure of tilting train prototype)

  • Crahworthy design of trains is now indispensable procedure in modern railway vehicle design for ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. It is now widely recognized that a more strategic approach is needed in order to absorb higher level energy in a controlled manner and minimize passenger injuries effectively. The first design step in this strategic approach is the design of the front end structure(so called HE extremities) to absorb a large part of total impact energy and then the structure of passengers non-accommodation zones(so called HE extremities) is designed to absorb the rest of impact energy. In this paper, the passengers entrance door area is selected as the LE(low energy) extremities and the design of the LEE was carried out. The main part of LEE design procedures is the design of energy absorbing tubes. For this purpose, the several tube candidates are introduced and compared to each others with numerical crash simulation.

수산물 냉동냉장설비의 현황 및 분석 (Present Situation and Analysis of Cold Storage Facilities for Fisheries Products)

  • This paper describes the analysis on freeze and refrigeration capacity of cold storage facilities for fisheries products during the last 15 years. And based on the analysis results, we prospect the number and scale of cold storage facilities in the near future. The main analysis results are summarized by the followings; Under the present conditions, the number and scale of our facilities is 879 and 3,586,824 ton, respectively. In comparison of the present and last 15 years ago, the business number increases about 22%, the accommodation capacity increases approximately 80%. In the reported update reference with the related data during the last 15 years, the capacity of cold storage facilities in 2011 expects to reach up to 4,600,000 ton. The newlyestablished facility in 2011 has the function of a multi-purpose distribution center as well as the existing cold storage, but this facilities converges in the capital area. Therefore, in this paper, we provided the basic reference data for the present situation and prediction of our cold storage facilities. But it is necessary to investigate and analyse widely our cold storage facilities for fisheries products in the near future.

대학생이 희망하는 신혼부부주택의 조건 (The desire of undergraduate and postgraduate students newly married housing requirements)

  • With the rise in national GNP, there has been a surge in people requiring adequate housing. The most who are in need of adequate housing are fresh graduates who have entered the job market, and newly-wed couples. Given the current economic condition it is difficult for young people and newly-wed couples to find reasonably affordable accommodations. In response to this, the government is trying to formulate a new policy, with the aim of helping young married couples find decent accommodation in response to the housing shortage. Research was performed last July with the aim of looking at the differences between the newlyweds' expectation of the idealistic housing and conditions. Questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate and postgraduate research students to find out their requirements. The questionnaire investigated the social background and the condition of the inhabited area; housing type internal facilities; the space required for housing; interior finishing, and storage facilities. The survey results were analyzed using SPSS and found that the design of small residential areas, the space requirements of more diversified individualized areas were the most important concerns for undergraduate and postgraduate research students. From the study we hope this will form a foundation for the design of the future housing social stratum. It is hoped that the current results and conclusions of this survey will be of help for the korean community to provide a direction and a positive input in the future design of newly married housing.

실습선의 거주위치 변경에 따른 수직가속도 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Decrease of Vertical Accelerations due to Changes in Location of the Habitation Division for Training Ship)

  • Research on ship motion and seasickness is recognized as the important research area to ensure the pleasant operative environment in addition to the research of operation safety of ship. In this paper, the motion performance in waves for the training ship Kaya of Pukyong National University is obtained by using the computer program based on Strip Method. To guarantee the pleasant seafaring in ocean, the vertical acceleration of ship motion is calculated according to the habitation division location in the ship. The results of calculation by changes of location of habitation division are compared with the guideline of MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence). The degree of motion sickness is shown and discussed through the comparison between calculated vertical acceleration spectrum and MSI guideline. To improve the safety of ship in motion and the pleasant seafaring in waves, the downtrend of seasickness ratio is needed by the decrease on vertical acceleration of the ship. Through the results in this paper, the relocation of both bridge and accommodation toward the aftship reduced the vertical acceleration and MSI.

  • In view of the fact that modern society has a range of origins causing disability, the population of acquired crippled is escalating. Hence, it is obligatory to facilitate every visitors can utilize facility equitably because public libraries are being changed to compounded service area. Particularly, it is urgent to manage space planning and accommodation by considerate the requirement traits of disabled who are a susceptible social group about knowledge information. This study analysis installation of toilet, the inevitable factor of hygiene facility, for disabled equipped in four different public libraries in Daegu with related on the standards of establishment for prolonged stay through advanced research and legislation connected on handicapped. This study provides foundation data to establish construction plan for disabled to alleviate inconvenience of taking service of public library, and to compose satisfying hygiene facility.

농촌지역 독거노인 공동생활홈의 운영실태에 관한 조사연구 (A Field Survey on the Operational Realities of Community Living Home for the Elders Living Alone in the Rural Village)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyzes the administration actual situation of community living home in Korea. The results are as follows. First, community living home in Korea is distributed over the Jeonranam-do areas by approximately 67.7%, and distributed over 18 cities in the Jeonrabuk-do areas. Second, In a type of community living home, "Sharing residence type" accounts for approximately 97%. The reason of this is because it can save a budget by utilizing existing public accommodation. Third, the administration main constituent of community living home running in each city is a neighborhood association, but bears the administration expense in the local government. Fourth, as a result of having analyzed the representative example of the community living home, "Sharing residence type" knew that a per person necessary area was the insufficient. Finally, it is desirable for oneself of the neighborhood association to be in charge of the administration main constituent of the community living home basically.

  • Rural information sector is a strategic planning of agriculture in 21st century for the advancement of agricultural competive power and quality of life to farmers. In order to advance the agricultural competency and quality of life, firstly, it is necessary that rural information sector should focus on the foundation of agriculture and rural information. Secondly, it should construct an area of function and item in application systems. Thirdly, it must Improve to culture of agriculture and rural information. It should be able offer a variety of educational information to help build a recognition and accommodation of value of agricultural information. The agriculture and rural information sector is so desirable that an organization should take exclusive responsibility to maintain the public property of it and to guard it from variable pressure groups. Therefore, to the uninformed mind, it is desirable to build and nurture KICAFF(Korea Information Center for Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries) which is empowered in the information business- instead of the government. This is necessary for agricultural information system preservation because law and institution corresponds with role and function of the information/education system.

  • 국내에서도 홍수, 지진, 산사태, 화재 등의 다양한 재난재해로 인하여 이재민이 발생하고 있으며, 이 중 대다수가 이재민 임시주거시설로 대피하고 있다. 그러나 이재민 임시주거시설 내에서 개인공간을 확보할 수 있는 실내 임시주거시설의 배치와 성능에 관한 계획은 미비하다. 이에 이재민 임시주거시설 내 거주환경을 개선하기 위하여, 국민안전처에서 지정한 1인당 최소 수용면적 $3.3m^2$로 실내 임시주거시설의 모듈을 구축, 모듈의 배치계획을 진행하였으며, 실내 임시주거시설의 형태, 재료, 성능에 대한 평가 방향을 제시하였다.

  • Buildings undergo changes by various factors according as pass at time. Due to that social requests and issues form one common sense of value and this would influence the architect's design intention. In fact, the form and function of buildings have coped with transition of the common sense of value by each times. Hospital architecture is also changed in function, scale and technology since, Kwanghyewon which was the first western style hospital in Korea was established in 1885. It is changing that the social needs for hospital which was a basic function of healing to laying emphasis on the function of precaution. According to this, the change of hospital spaces means that it can promote healing environment which is expanded from the modern concept of isolation, accommodation and urban sanitation. These changed concepts were adopted limited areas in hospitals at first however, nowadays they are expanding to other areas. So, this is caused to make the image of the hospital. From this point of view, Entry space is an example to show the changes. This study is intended to determine the overall space structure of entry area and to classify and analyze the difference.

  • The ion implantation technology changes the chemical state of the surface of a material by implanting ions on the surface. It improves the wear resistance, friction characteristics, etc. Plasma ion implantation can effectively reinforce a surface by implanting a sufficient amount of plasma nitrogen ions and using the injection depth instead of an ion beam. As plasma ion implantation is a three-dimensional process, it can be applied even when the surface area is large and the surface shape is complicated. Furthermore, it is less expensive than competing PVD and CVD technologies. and the material is The accommodation range for the shape and size of the plasma is extremely large.
