The Operation of high speed train in year 2004 bring about a great change in railroad industry. Especially in railroad construction field we have acquired great Know-how. And up to now we are building up operation skills. But the high speed train system are totally imported, so it is necessary to investigate some of the equipment based on our own environment. In case of Toughened Glass Stem Insulator, we don't have any application case in domestic and limited in abroad. So there must be some characteristic estimation. The estimation was made in three different ways. First electrical field cause, Second physical field cause and finally in circumstance cause. In Electrical field cause, amplitude and number of time for abnormal peak voltage data are collected. And in physical field cause, amplitude and trend of vibration in to the insulator are examined. And I circumstance cause, possibility of flying gravel and ice clod are investigated. Through this basic data suitability for Toughened Glass Stem Insulator using in domestic will be accumulated.

Operational Mode Summary/Mission Profile(OMS/MP) is a document to quantify the operational and maintenance requirements based on the future operational environments and its mission and How to Fight concept in the development of the weapon system. It is important as a key document for the RAM goal setting in the early phase of weapon system development. The paper presents a systematic and practical submarine OMS/MP model processes with a deep analysis of relevant case studies and current status domestic and abroad. Especially, it proposes the unique Scenario Planning and Switch on List techniques with real case studies which have recently performed. The paper will contribute not only the basis of improved requirements for the development of weapon system but also the sustainment of readiness with the enhancement of RAM and reduction of total life cycle cost.

The purpose of this study is to propose the building design guideline considering photovoltaic panel installation through the analysis of relevant guidelines from home and abroad in terms of building design and solar panel installation. Conclusions can be summarized as followings; Considerations in building design : selection of the site with high solar accessibility, avoidance of the shade from the adjacent building & trees, south facing orientation of solar panel in building design, removal of shade on the solar panel from the part of building itself, load consideration of solar panel & fixing materials, safe passage securement for solar system maintenance, and planning of piping and mechanical room for solar system. Considerations in solar panel installation : harmonizing of solar panel with surrounding environment, unity of solar panel orientation & slope, regular maintenance of solar system, (in case of flat roof installation) solar panel installation afloat over the roof, installation area within the roof floor, and lower than parapet height, (in case of sloped roof installation) solar panel installation parallel with the roof slope, ventilation space securement below the panel, installation area within the roof surface, and similar material installation in empty space.

Since a few years ago, great disasters have often took place in domestic and abroad, such as Sampoong Department store collapse, Sea-land disaster accident, Incheon Hof fire accidents. Whenever a lot of accidents occurred such as fire, gas explosion, traffic accident, mountain accident, various disease, people required 119 first aid service. As the result, even for the last year, average 2,608 person per day were temporary treated and carried to near hospital by 119 system. But first-aid team or first grade EMT(emergency medical technician) that should provide high quality service and save important lives, might have negatively treated or made their duty only for simple transfer, when they were imminent of emergency case in every kinds of accident spot. Because they worried about medical dispute for "task restriction for EMT" decided by medical laws or rules of first aid. So it was proposed that "task restriction for EMT" should be mitigated or released in the possible range on this occasion.

Recently, several researches indicated the relationship between oral condition and respiratory disease such as pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Respiratory disease is known as common chronic disease in the elderly increasing mortality and morbidity. In this study, we have reviewed the association between oral disease and respiratory disease in the elderly. The related data were searched and collected from abroad and domestic studies. The studies included the randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs), longitudinal, cohort, case-control, and systematic review studies. With the data from the studies, we concluded that poor oral hygiene or periodontal disease can influence the pneumonia in the elderly. Further studies will be needed to investigate the association between oral disease and COPD.

Recently, peoples of travelling to endemic area of parasitit diseases are rapidly increased and the imported parasitic diseases by tourists have become a public health problem. Here author describess briefly about the imported parasitic in Korea. The 15 kinds of parasitic diseases, I.e., malaria, babesiosis, cutaneous leishmaniasis, visceral leishmaniasis, ancylostomiasis, cutaneous larva migrans, angiostrongylosis, gnathostomiasis,loiasis, heterophyiasis, urinary schistosomiasis, hydatis disease, pentastomiasis, cutaneous myiasis and syngamosis were imported during last thirty years. The most prevalent imported parasitic disease was malaria. Indigenous vivax malaria has been eradicated since 1970s. However imported malaria(1970~1985) was reported 107 cases of patient with a history of travel abroad. Futhermore a case of reemerging vivax malaria was patient were occurred in 2000.These parasitic disease are sometimes overlooked or misdiagnosed. There is a need to concern about travel medicine and imported parasitic diseases.

Defense analysis & evaluation includes menace analysis, validation analysis, problem analysis, scientific technical analysis, technical trad-off analysis, alternative analysis, cost analysis, etc. Reliable related data is required to perform these analysis activities efficiently. but in case of these defense analysis & evaluation data acquisition system, the data is insufficient and scattered about each organization. the data of database system is also not utilized sufficiently. abroad technical data is also low level data such as catalog or military officer's collection. therefore, this paper propose defense analysis & evaluation data acquisition system by systems engineering process. we also propose construction method of data acquisition system.

Ever since the introduction of high strength steel pipe strut(POSTRUT) in 2008, there has been over 50 applications domestically. The merits of construction period reduction and cost savings have been well reported abroad in countries such as America, Europe and China but ever in domestic projects or ground condidtions. 25 actual construction projects were investigated and statistically analyzed to evaluate the quantitative effects of POSTRUT. Also the construction projects along with the cautions that should be taken and the structural behavior differences between POSTRUT and H-section struts are briefly described in this paper.

This paper examines how a Korean automobile firm price-discriminates between the Korean and the U.S. markets. We argue that a Korean automobile firm's pricing behavior depends on the differences in price elasticity over the segmented markets between the countries. Our findings are that differences in price elasticity may help explain why a medium-class car's price is higher in Korea than that in the U.S. while a small-sized car's price is higher in the U.S. than in Korea, which implies that a Korean automobile firm $3^{rd}$ degree price-discriminates on the same or similar products between Korea and the U.S. This type of $3^{rd}$ degree price discrimination differs from a typical home-bias effect (charging higher prices to domestic consumers) because a small-sized car which is produced domestically sells at higher price abroad. This finding can be added as a source that violates the law of one price.

Purpose - The objective of the paper is to explain the factors affecting on the Re-contract intension of franchisor in the uprising Chinese franchise market. Research design, data, methodology - The study conducted a survey on the 400 franchisors data in China from January to July 2012. By AMOS analyzing the data to examine these hypotheses empirically, we can confirm most hypothesis supposed. Results - This study shows that the high management performance and satisfaction of the franchise headquarters has a positive effect on the Re-contract intention of franchise. In the case of large markets such as China, the franchisor's strategy and the role is very important. Conclusions - This study provides franchisors and practitioners, who plan to extend their franchising business abroad into Chinese market, with some practical knowledge. in order to achieve stable profits, the franchise corporation needs to support the operation of the individual franchisee through incentives and standardization of services.
