불완전경쟁시장에서의 배출권 거래제도의 효율성 (Efficiency of the Emission Trading Scheme in Imperfectly Competitive Markets)

  • 본고는 산출물시장이 과점적이고 동질적 상품이 거래되어 기업들이 생산량 경쟁을 하고 배출권시장은 완전경쟁적일 경우, 기업이 지출하는 저감투자량의 적절성을 이론적으로 분석한다. 산출물시장이 완전경쟁적일 때와는 달리 저감투자는 직접적으로 배출비용을 줄이는 효과 이외에 다른 기업의 산출물을 줄이는 간접적 효과를 발생시킨다. 균형하에서의 저감투자량은 사회적으로 최적인 저감투자량에 비해 생산량 대비 과잉투자를 야기하여 투자배분을 왜곡한다. 본고는 또한 불완전경쟁시장이 배출권 거래제도하에서 발생시킬 수 있는 비효율성의 제반 요인들을 검토하고 정책적 시사점을 제시한다.

  • In this paper a simulation program is developed to abate the aircraft noise in the buildings near the airport. This indoor aircraft noise prediction computer program, which is based on the various data and measured results, is useful for the understanding the noise reduction efficiency of the existing buildings as well as for the effective noise abatement method to keep the optimum indoor level for quiet environment.

  • 투입 산출변수의 외생적 흐름에 기초한 전통적인 자료포락분석은 생산활동의 모든 내부과정을 'black box'로 간주하며 각 생산단계의 상호작용에 대한 정보를 고려하지 못한 한계를 지닌다. 이에 생산과정을 세분화하고 각 생산단계의 효율성을 연계하여 추정하는 Network DEA 방식이 최근 활발히 적용되고 있으며 특히 환경효율성의 추정과정을 생산 및 저감활동으로 구분한 연구가 대표적이다. 본고는 한국의 51개 산업단지를 대상으로 Network DEA에 기초한 환경효율성 추정을 시도하였으며, 분석결과 추정치의 변별력, 비효율의 발생단계, 기타 외생변수와의 통계적 관련성 등의 관점에서 전통적 DEA 추정결과에 비해 우수한 점을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 사용자가 침해 사실을 직접 확인하기 힘든 중간자 공격에 의한 보안서버의 무효화 공격에 대한 대응법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 현재 존재하는 다양한 유형의 중간자공격에 대해서 기존의 대응방안에 대해 분석한다. 이어서 기존의 연구에서 아직 해결되지 않았으며 본 연구의 제안 기법인 민감 정보 전송 전 세션 상태를 확인하여 비정상 접속이 확인되면 사용자가 민감 정보를 전송하지 못하게 하고, 사용자로 하여금 침해에 대한 경각심을 가질 수 있게 안내페이지로 전환하는 시큐어코딩 기법을 제안한다.

Development of an Odor Abatement System for Swine Manure Treatment Facilities

  • This study was conducted to solve the problem of public grievance owing to odor of a pig farm. Odor emissions from pig production systems mainly originate from liquid manure storage and solid manure fermentation. The low-cost odor abatement system (OAS) for application at liquid manure storage tank and solid manure fermentation facilities was developed in this study. The OAS adapted odor removing principles of a biofilter and biotrickling filter. The OAS is very simplified in structure. The appearance of the OAS had a form of cylindrical or cubical shape. The system performance was monitored for about one year after stabilization. A 7 seconds empty bed contact time for the OAS was adapted to achieve the odor reduction levels. The commercial type of OAS was constructed with media comprised of wood chips. Moisture content always remained above 50% wet basis. Average ammonia removal efficiency for the developed design was 89% at the liquid manure storage tank. Also, the removal efficiency at a solid manure fermentation facility was 86% on ammonia.

오염부하량 할당에 있어서 다목적 유전알고리즘의 적용 방법에 관한 연구 (Application of multi-objective genetic algorithm for waste load allocation in a river basin)

  • In terms of waste load allocation, inequality of waste load discharge must be considered as well as economic aspects such as minimization of waste load abatement. The inequality of waste load discharge between areas was calculated with Gini coefficient and was included as one of the objective functions of the multi-objective waste load allocation. In the past, multi-objective functions were usually weighted and then transformed into a single objective optimization problem. Recently, however, due to the difficulties of applying weighting factors, multi-objective genetic algorithms (GA) that require only one execution for optimization is being developed. This study analyzes multi-objective waste load allocation using NSGA-II-aJG that applies Pareto-dominance theory and it's adaptation of jumping gene. A sensitivity analysis was conducted for the parameters that have significant influence on the solution of multi-objective GA such as population size, crossover probability, mutation probability, length of chromosome, jumping gene probability. Among the five aforementioned parameters, mutation probability turned out to be the most sensitive parameter towards the objective function of minimization of waste load abatement. Spacing and maximum spread are indexes that show the distribution and range of optimum solution, and these two values were the optimum or near optimal values for the selected parameter values to minimize waste load abatement.

  • In an effort to reduce aircraft noise, noise abatement areas are designated and notified, and noise abatement procedures are implemented. However, residents in noise abatement areas are increasingly complaining about the increase in noise, and airlines are exceeding the criteria for noise. In this study, A330-300 airplane set flight conditions that are predicted to generate the most noise when taking off 32 runway at Gimpo International Airport, and predicted the noise as the NPD curve of the INM and AEDT programs. As a result of the analysis, it was considered that the noise at a specific point would generate higher noise than the noise criteria. Therefore, to avoid exceeding aircraft noise criteria at a particular point, supplementing the departure procedures by reflecting aircraft performance under flight conditions would reduce complaints from both airlines and local residents.
