GPS기반 VHF를 이용한 AVLS에 대한 연구 (A Study on the AVLS using VHF base on GPS faculty of Marine Electronic & Communication Engineering)

  • 교통관제시스템을 구축하려면 이동체들의 실시간 위치데이터를 제공할 수 있는 GPS-MDT(Mobile Data Terminal 이동데이터단말기)와 이동체들의 위치데이터를 수신하여 GIS 상에 위치를 표시할 수 있는 교통 관제용 SW가 필요하다. 이동체의 위치데이터를 VHF 송수신기를 이용하여 전송하기 위해서는 GPS 정보를 취득하고 데이터를 전송하기 위한 모뎀이 필요하며, 관제실에는 GIS기반 이동체들의 교통상황을 모니터링하는 프로그램을 개발하여야 한다. 이동체들과 관제실 간에서 자동으로 이동체의 ID를 포함하여 GPS의 시각 및 위치정보를 지속적으로 전송하여 취득할 수 있는 통신프로토콜도 연구되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 음성과 문자정보를 동시에 전송할 수 있는 VHF 송수신기용 모뎀과 GIS-tool을 이용한 관제용 S/W에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • 어업통신에서 출어선의 위치보고를 디지털화하여 VMS(Vessel Monitering system)를 구축하기 위하여는 체계적인 정보의 관리와 운용이 필요하다. 또한 위치정보의 체계적인 관리를 위해서는 먼저 정보의 권역화 및 집중화가 선행되어야 한다. 지역의 전파환경, 출어선의 조업해역, 어선세력, 트래픽량 등을 고려하여 권역을 구분하고, 권역별로 선위정보를 수집하여 이것을 본부에 집중하면 VMS의 DB를 구현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 VMS를 구축하기 위한 어업정보망의 구축과 어선의 위치정보를 자동으로 전송하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

차량주행 모사 조건에서 로드셀을 이용한 인젝터 누적 연료 분사량 측정 (A Cumulative Injected Fuel Mass Measurement Under a Vehicle Driven Condition using Loadcells)

  • A gasoline injector rig which can measure cumulative injected fuel mass under a vehicle driving condition was developed. The measurement system consists of an engine control unit (ECU), data acquisition (DAQ) and injected fuel collection system using loadcells. By supplying reconstructed sensor signals which simulate the real vehicle's sensor signals to the ECU, the ECU drives injectors as if they were driven in the vehicle. The vehicle's performance was computer simulated by using $GT-Suite^{(R)}$ software based on both engine part load performance and automatic transmission shift map. Throttle valve position, engine and vehicle speed, air mass flow rate et al. were computer simulated. The used vehicle driving pattern for the simulation was FTP-75 mode. For reconstructing the real vehicle sensor signals which are correspondent to the $GT-Suite^{(R)}$ simulated vehicle's performance, the DAQ systems were used. The injected fuel was collected with mess cylinders. The collected fuel mass in the mess cylinder with elapsed time after starting FTP-75 driving mode was measured using loadcells. The developed method shows highly improved performance in fast timing and accuracy of the cumulative injected fuel mass measurement under the vehicle driven condition.

산업차량용 토크컨버터의 작동 안정성 평가 방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of the Operation Stability of a Torque Converter Mounted on Industrial Vehicle)

  • This paper presents the induced mathematical modeling equations for evaluating the operation stability with automatic transmission of heavy duty vehicle. This theoretical approach indicates that linearized governing equations of system can be converted into eigen-value problems. if the eigen-value has positive number, we can predict the engine operating point locates an unstable operating region. To be a stable state, the unstable operating point diverges toward a stable point which is able to maintain uniform velocity. Based on the previous theoretical analysis, we carry out dynamic simulation to show the behavior of engine operating point and torque converter in transient state. As a result of the dynamic simulation, the suggested theoretical method is found to be reasonable for evaluating the operation stability of a torque converter. In addition, the numerical results explain the engine stops and fluctuating phenomenon in reality.

전자악보 전송 시스템 (Electronic Musical Score Transmitting System)

  • 오케스트라 연주에서 각 악기의 연주자가 연주중에 직접 악보를 넘겨야 하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자동으로 악보를 넘길 수 있는 전자악보 시스템을 Mini-ITX와 LCD Panel을 이용하여 악보대에 일체화 시켜서 제작하였고, 신뢰성 있는 TCP/IP 소켓통신을 사용하여 메시지 및 데이터 전송을 구현하였다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트에서 자동으로 악보를 표현하는 기능을 구현하였고, 서버 프로그램에서는 악기별로 클라이언트의 개별적 관리가 가능하도록 악보 동기화 기능 및 수동기능을 추가하였다. 그리고, 하나의 악단을 Access파일 하나로 관리 할 수 있기 때문에 악단별 관리가 수월하다. 이와 더불어 TCP/IP 방식의 신뢰성있는 통신을 선택하여, 데이터를 전송하는데 있어서 손실이 생기는 상황을 막아준다.

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷이나 멀티미디어 서비스 등 고속 패킷 전송에 있어서 전송 효율을 증대하기 위한 H-ARQ(Hybrid-Automatic Repeat reQuest) 기법에 대하여 고찰하였다. H-ARQ 기법의 성능 분석을 위하여 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project) 시스템에서 WWW 트래픽 모델에 근거하여 각 타입별 성능에 대하여 고찰하였다. 또한 GPRS(General Packet Radio Service)에 대하여 링크 적응 기법과 H-ARQ Type II 방식에 대한 링크 성능을 전송 효율 및 패킷 지연 차원에서 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 링크 효율 측면에서 H-ARQ Type II 방식이 더 높은 효율을 나타냈으나 패킷 지연 시간은 링크 적응 기법이 조금 더 나은 것을 확인하였다.

  • In companion paper, the composition and structure of the traffic environment is derived. Rules to regulate agent behaviors and the frameworks to communicate between the agents are proposed. In this paper, the model of a driver agent which controls a vehicle agent is constructed. The driver agent is capable of having different driving styles. That is, each driver agent has individual behavior settings of the yielding index and the passing index. The yielding index can be defined as how often the agent yields in case of lane changes, and the passing index can be defined as how often the agent passes ahead. According to these indices, the agents overtake or make their lanes for other vehicles. Similarly, the vehicle agents can have various vehicle dynamic models. According to their dynamic characteristics, the vehicle agent shows its own behavior. The vehicle model of the vehicle agent contains the nonlinear subcomponents of engine, torque converter, automatic transmission, and wheels. The simulation has proceeded for an interrupted flow model. The result has shown that it is possible to express the characteristics of each vehicle and its driver in a traffic flow, and that the change of the traffic state is closely related with the distance and the signal delay between intersections. The system developed in this paper shows the effectiveness and the practical usefulness of the traffic simulation.

변속 시스템의 자유도 자율 판단 알고리즘 (An Algorithm for Self-determing Degrees-of-freedom of Shifting Systems)

  • In automotive industries, one of major issues is the shifting shock, which is brought out when two clutches are engaged in an automatic transmission. The engagement and disengagement if two clutches means the variation of the D.O.F(degree of freedom) of system. Therefore to analyze the shifting performance, the variation of D.O.F should be considered in detail. Generally, the programs for analyzing the shifting transients have been developed as the problem-dependent codes because the artificial maris were usually used to indicate the change of shifting phase. To develop a software applicable to a general mechanism of transmissions, a self-determining algorithm of D.O.F must be applied. Through the experiences for the last several years, a generalized analysis software of shifting mechanism(so called by POTAS-MSM Version 2.0) has been developed. In this study, some major ideas of the software and the concept for the analysis of shifting characteristics are presented. In addition to that, this paper shows how to self -determine D.O.F of he multi-slipping systems using the stick-slip criterion on a single slipping mechanism. By using this software, the shifting characteristics of a vehicle are analyzed and compared with the experimental results.

회전 원추형 마늘 쪽분리기 개발에 관한 연구 (III) - 최종기 설계 및 성능평가 - (Development of Rotating Cone Type Garlic Clove Separator (III) - Design and Performance Evaluation of Final Protype -)

  • This study was conducted to design and manufacture a final prototype of garlic separator and to evaluate its performance. The performance of garlic separation was compared with manual separation. The final prototype for garlic separation consists of bucked-elevator device for automatic feed of garlic, rotating cone typed device, blower, and power transmission device. The optimal condition of outlet clearance was 19 mm and in this clearance, the proportions of fragment garlic separated in the large quality of Namdo garlic and all quality of Uiseong garlic were above 95% and above 85%, respectively. All proportion of damaged garlic was below 5% for all variety and quality. The garlic separation capacities of this developed machine were 310 kg/h for Namdo garlic and 293.6 kg/h for Uiseong garlic in the large quality. Capacities of final prototype compared with human being were $12.9{\sim}19.6$ times for Namdo and $24.2{\sim}31.7$ times Uiseong garlic, respectively.

용접결함 검사용 수침식초음파탐상기의 매질개선연구 (A Study on Couplant Medium Improvement for Ultrasonic Inspection System with Water Immersion to Detect Weld Defects)

  • For nondestructive inspection of electron beam (EB) welding part in automotive power transmission assembly, a pulse-echo ultrasonic testing apparatus in water immersion has been applied using the ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 10MHz. However various problems have appeared during the ultrasonic inspection, which led to some significant mistakes in automatic quality evaluation of the welding parts. Experimental study showed that the state of water couplant medium containing some amount of contaminants, rusts and anti-corrosion agents had considerable influences on the reduction of ultrasonic amplitudes during wave propagation. The amplitude reduction depending on the coupling medium state could bring about some mis-diagnoses for defects in the welding parts. The results proposed that for a reliable inspection of defects in welds the state of water medium should be kept in about 15 volume fractions (vol.%) of anti-corrosion agents and in minimized contaminants.
