The Influence of Frequency on Wayside Transmitter of ATP System upon Reinforcing Bars in Concrete Slab Track (콘크리트 슬래브궤도에서 철근이 ATP시스템 지상자의 주파수에 미치는 영향)

  • In concrete slab track, the signal current using wayside transmitter of ATP (Automatic Train Protection) system is influenced by reinforcing bars. The magnetic coupling between reinforcing bars and wayside transmitter of ATP system as a filter makes an input current distorted. So, it makes an alternating current signal with a desirable size not transmit to on-board system of a train. Way to decrease the distortion of an input current signal frequency is to avoid maximum induction current frequency. And the induction phenomenon between reinforcing bars insulated and wayside transmitter of ATP system does not occur. In this paper, we represent the model about wayside transmitter of ATP system and reinforcing bars on the concrete slab tracks, and calculated the parameters demanded for the model. Also, we demonstrated it through the Maxwell program. Furthermore, we calculated impedance on wayside transmitter used in KVB system and ERTMS/ETCS system which are a kind of ATP system, frequency response of induction current, using Matlab, and demonstrated the validity of it, using PSpice program.

  • ATP(Automatic Train Protection) system in railway signaling system is the important one grasping the position and velocity of a train. The wayside transmitter of ATP system is installed between rails. In concrete slab track, the signal current using wayside transmitter of ATP system is influenced by reinforcing bars. The magnetic coupling between reinforcing bars and wayside transmitter of ATP system as a filter makes an input current distorted.   • Frequency is an important operating parameter of a power system. It is essential that the frequency of a power system be maintained very close to its nominal frequency. And frequency measurement devices have need to measure a fast and accurate of frequency using voltage signals. This paper proposes a comparative study of frequency estimation techniques using the high speed FIR filter based algorithm, the DFT filter based algorithm using phasor angle between two phasors, and positive sequence component based algorithm using the half angle between two successive positions of phasor. The discussed three techniques have been formed through numerical manipulation of a discrete system. The proposed techniques have been tested using signals obtained from selected power system model using ATP simulation package. Some test results are shown in this paper.

  • This paper describes the comparison of Two frequency ranges for power line communication. The first one is that the frequency range from 100 to 400 KHz is supported by the Federal Communication Committee(FCC). The other one is that the frequency range from 1MHz to 30MHz is based on the European-supported EN5006A band. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of their frequency ranges are discussed for PLC. By ATP/EMTP software, the signal attenuation is simulated both the frequency ranges. It shows that the signal attenuation is bigger at high frequency than at low frequency.

  • 콘덴서 뱅크는 계통의 전압 유지와 무효전력 공급을 위해 많이 사용되고 있다. 전력용 콘덴서는 주로 배전계통에 많이 사용되었으나 근래에는 송전용 계통에도 많이 투입되고 있다. 송전용 콘덴서 뱅크는 대용량이며 송전계통의 X/R비가 높기 때문에 콘덴서 뱅크 개폐시에 높은 주파수의 과도전류와 과전압과 같은 과도현상이 발생하며 이로 인해 전력계통의 신뢰도에 중요한 전력기기가 손상을 받을 수 있다. 본고에서는 154-kV 계통을 예를 들어 콘덴서 뱅크에 의해 발생하는 다음의 과도현상들과 그에 대한 대안을 검토하였다. 1) 1차 콘덴서뱅크 투입시 과도현상 2) 2차 콘덴서뱅크 투입시 과도현상 3) 단락사고시 고장전류 4)공진에 의한 과전압 과도현상해석을 위해서는 ATP(Alternative Transient Pr09ram) 프로그램을 사용하였다

Development of Fault Detection Method for a Transformer Using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 변압기 사고 검출 기법 개발)

  • This presents a fault detecting method for a power transformer based upon a neural network. To maintain a normal relay operating conditions, external winding faults of a power transformer and magnetic inrush have been tested under consideration of the EMTP/ATP software and internal faults of power transformer have been tested by the EMTP/BCTRAN software. The neural network has been evaluated by the proposed fault. Input variables of the neural network for the proposed model can be obtained from fundamental currents, restraining and operating currents. This algorithm uses back-propagation and the ratio of a restraining current and an operating current as relay input parameters. The ratio may enhance the fault detection since the restraining currents increase rapidly at external faults. The proposed detecting method has been applied to the practical relay systems for transformer protection. As a result, the proposed detecting method based on the neural network has been shown to have better characteristics.

  • This paper presents development of the transponder system which provides an accurate train position, especially for supporting 400km/h high speed train. Here, we analyzed an operating frequency band of the transponder system which can be interoperable with the Eurobalise system already installed in Korea railroad as to be used for the automatic train protection (ATP). By investigating the power frequency band and its data frequency band of the transponder system, we presents the adoptable frequency band for the developed transponder system. Additionally, through the real testbed using HEMU-430X, we evaluate its performance requirement and shows interoperable operation with the Eurobalise system.

Mechanism of Inhibitory Effect of Imipramine on Isolated Rat Detrusor Muscle in Relation to Calcium Modulation (흰쥐 적출 방광 배뇨근의 수축성에 대한 Imipramine의 작용과 Calcium동원 기전과의 관계)

  • Enuresis is a common voiding disorder among children. There are several therapeutic regimens for the disorder available today; behavioral therapies, psychotherapy, bladder training, sleep interruption, hypnosis and drug therapy. Recently, the efficacy of drug therapy has been acknowledged, particularly of antidepressants. Among the tricyclic antidepressants, imipramine is most frequently employed for the treatment of enuresis. Present study was undertaken to investigate the mechanism of imipramine on the contractility of urinary bladder in relation to the calcium modulation using isolated strips of rat detrusor urinae. 1. The electric fileld stimulation-induced contraction was abolished by imipramine, but partially inhibited by atropine. 2. Imipramine reduced the basal tone and diminished the phasic activity of detrusor muscle concentration-dependently, which was similar to that of diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker. 3. Imipramine suppressed the maximal responses and shifted the concentration-response curves of bethanechol and ATP to right. 4. Imipramine inhibited the calcium-induced recovery of tension in calcium-free physiologic salt solution (PSS) with a mode of action similar to that of diltizaem. 5. A23187, a calcium ionophore recovered the basal tone which had been reduced by imipramine in normal PSS. 6. In calcium-free PSS, A23187 could recover the abolished basal tone with the pretreatment of imipramine, but it exerted a partial recovery with the pretreatment of TMB-8, an inhibitor of intracellular calcium release. Based on these results, it is suggested that the inhibitory action of imipramine on the detrusor muscle exerted in part by blockade of the muscarinic and purinergic receptors, and interference with the influx of extracellular calcium, but not with the release of intracellular stored calcium, is involved in its mechanism of action.
